Latias: <Do you think they're still here in Mossdeep?>

-Artesia comes out of the inn and almost immediately notices the disturbance in the air's electromagnetic waves.-

Narrator: It's a bit cloudy today isn't it?

Artesia: "..........."

-Artesia smacks her Narrator across the head before returning her gaze to the airship above-

Latias: -focuses harder- <Yes...yes, I think so.> -turning, to try to find which direction to go-

Hoenn Skies

Salamence starts flying in a descending curve pattern to try and get in good position to attack Rayquaza, when he sees the image of the Pokémon closing distance towards him with an incredible speed.

Foreign!Mence: <...!> — readies a Dragon Claw — <Objects are closer than what they look on theooooooooooooooooooooof~> — is hit before he can ready the attack.

Sent spiraling by the tremendous hit, Salamence falls a short distance before restabilizing; he instantly flies up to try and catch up to Rayquaza, testing if it is possible to draw the dragon to close quarter combat.

Rayquaza watches as Foreign!Mence charges towards him, smirking to himself. If he wanted to go close quarters, then so be it. He was just as capable of defending himself at close range as he was at long distances.

The Dragon focuses on infusing his head with the essence of Iron, then waits for the Dragon to come into range before lowering his head and thrusting it at him, using his opponent's momentum as well as his own to add to the attack's power.

Stratus winces, feeling bad for what Foreign!Mence was about to experience.

Latias: (looks around, wondering if she and her sister should either assume their human disguises, or turn invisible before going off to find Sierra and Vyvyan)

Latias: -opens her eyes- <I think they're this way.>

Latias: (nods) <Okay... Maybe we should turn invisible? If we go as we are, we might draw attention to ourselves, and if we go over there in our human forms, we might end up accidentally leading someone to their hiding spot.>

Latias: <Good idea!> -shimmers out of visibility-

Latias: (turns invisible as well)

Hoenn Airspace

Foreign!Salamence draws near and seeing himself short on time decides to leave the Dragon Dance for next time, tries to attack with a Dragon Claw. While he manages to land the attack... somewhere, he is instantly swept away like a rugged doll by the Legendary's powerful Steel-type attack... with enough force and pain that he doesn't realize he is swirling out of control.

Some moments later, Salamence seems to wake up, extends his wings and begins to stabilize, but still in obviously too much pain to doo anything else.

-Jet gathered the Ozealots in the airship and are marching down the halls to the bridge-

Latias: <Ready?>

Latias: <Yep!>

No wonder Rayquaza was considered a legendary, he was untouchable! The only hit the Salamence had managed to land on him so far was a Swift, and even then, it was a never miss attack, and it had barely seemed to have fazed him! Let along do any damage...

Stratus was beginning to worry about the Salamence, though. All the hits he had taken had been pretty severe, and he looked pretty dizzy after taking that Iron Head To the knee. The Dragonite was beginning to wonder how much longer he would be able to last against his divine opponent.

The legend in question, seeing no danger from his foe at the point, lets hos gaurd down briefly to twist and snake through the air, letting out a fierce roar as he preformed a draconic dance.

Stratus: Narrows his eyes slightly. <As if he wasn't strong enough already...>

-Recalls my mons before walking inside...before dropping down a hole and landing on some soft ground-

Guess this must be part of the tunnel system that the brochure mentioned. Careful, there might be...traps and stuff down here.

-Releases Forecaster-

Forecaster: <Let me brighten this place up.>

-Uses Flash-

Latias: -zooms toward Sierra and Vyvyan-

Hoenn Skies

Foreign!Mence can only gulp and ready his claws at the sight of a Legendary using a power-boosting move. Had to be Dragon Dance.

Foreign!Salamence: <Oh well... this is all about the respect and upping the ante, so...>

Salamence flies downwards again and casts another Dragon Dance to boost his agility and attack power. This time, instead of shooting anything, the dragon chased after Rayquaza, flying in a circling pattern trying to find an adequate point of entry to dive in with a boosted Shadow Claw, while at the same time mentally preparing himself to be most likely swept in a random direction again.

Ozone Airship

As Jet's group march towards the bridge they pass by two or three grunts and mechanics equiped in protective gears and masks, checking the airship's machinery and tech. One of them notices the group but says nothing and keeps checking stuff.

Evergrande

- Keeps following Tagg, being careful where I step -

Mossdeep

- Latias follows her sister -

Rayquaza tracks his opponent as he flies around him, seemingly waiting for an opening to attack him.

He had other plans, however. The Dragon instead flies towards a nearby cloud, then dives into it, disappearing from both his opponent and Stratus' view, yet leaving himself blind to what was going on outside.

It was a risky tactic, but it wasn't like he couldn't afford to take any at that point.

Stratus, in the dark to the legend's plan, simply watches, wondering what's going to happen next.

-the Bridge's doors fly open-

Ozone Leader Maxie:Ah, Jet, good to see. you. We were just about to—

Jet:Sorry, but I'm not taking orders from you anymore. We're taking over the airship.

Maxie: WHAT! This is mutiny!

Ozealot:Thank you Captain Obvious.

Maxie:You can't possibly think that you can defeat all of us.

Jet:Try me.

Maxie: Reggie, Hawk! Get them!

-The two commanders release 4 Pokemon total, a Staraptor and Skarmory from Reggie, and a Salamence and Tropius from Hawk-

Jet: Drought, Storm! Get them!

-Drought and Storm are called out and begin to attack the quartet of mons, other Ozealots doing the same-

One thing about all my years traveling, they were always...exciting.

Nudi: <Where does this tunnel lead?>

No idea, my best guess would be to the innards of the mausoleum, but that's the fun part of excursions like these.

Hoenn Airspace

Foreign!Mence -sees Rayquaza disappear: <....Aaaaahhh?>

The dragon halts himself in mid-air, examining the situation for a moment and catching a break. Then he lets out a roar.

Foreign!Mence: <Strategy then! It's time for the jógo bonito!>

The dragon rears back some distance, focuses his power and glows blue for a moment. In a couple of seconds, several Salamence afterimages appear circling the Legendary's cloud◊.

Foreign!Mence: <...Oh! But this is not a silly anime where we stay orderly in a line, waiting to be swept! Let's add some flavor!>

The Salamence images start flying up and down in different angles, and then start shooting Dragon Pulses at the cloud, with different angles and target points.
