Crystallux: <A report. There is a 65% chance that this snowstorm was caused by a Pokémon.>

Pianis: Oh? Wonder if there's a herd of Snover or something in there...

Salamence: <He went off to go stop someone from stealing the Jade Orb.>

Two Pokéballs roll out of the ventilation shaft; from one pops out a Diglett that materializes on a table and from the other a Magneton.

Magneton: <...Morphinnomical!> — Thunderbolts the Swellow and Pelipper, then turns to the Diglett — <Hey! That's not how reality works!>

Diglett: <Deal with it > — somehow Aerial Aces Marmalade.

Mew: Fine, sheesh, mortals always get so tightly wound... -dismisses the invisibility effect-

The Charmander immediately makes a beeline for the nearest airvent due to natural aquaphobia, colliding with the Pokéballs rolling out. The Murkrow glares in frustration, then with a squawk flies to check on P4, who's been slammed against the wall.

At this point, the room gets even more crowded and a Mantine bounces through the ceiling, ridden by Isabel.

Isabel: For the glory of the sea! The rains shall never be thwarted again!

Effie: Oh no, not one of you... you bring shame to the good name of Aqua!

Isabel: Hmph. As you bring shame to our ideals!

Entrance

Crewe: Snow? uh... ack! -Crewe suddenly flashes back to a memory of her first toddling steps in the snows of Sinnoh, as Glint-

I... suppose... -snaps- but that's ''really' not important here! I'm trying to get one of these Altaria to realize someone's trying to steal the green orb in the trophy!

The Diglett meeeps and digs underground ON THE TABLE, partially evading the attack.

Meanwhile, the Magma agent has slipped a videocamera through the ventilation shaft and is observing the battle.

????: "Hmmm... if things go sour, there's always the third option, heh..." — records the battle.

Kinda figured they were just invisible. Tried to see if they were there, but my psychic powers backfired- OW.

-Turns to the group- Anyone have an aspirin?

Marmalade: <...WHAT THE HELL?>

-Marmalade fires a concentrated Sonicboom at the table, reducing a good portion of it to splinters-

-The Nadias reappear-

<Lake: "NADIA!">

-And rushes off and hugs Nadia's neck-

-Start blips out of existence and reappears... 2 inches from the trophy case-

Magneton: <DIGLETT NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!> — hovers up — <One of you will randomly pay in the next six microfortnights!>

Spins around looking for a target, then Locks On Start.

Magneton: <...How convenient~> — Thunder Waves Start.

Outside of Room

Termidor -hops on his Trainer's shoulder and looks at the camera visor: <...Where did Diglett go?> — blinks, trying to hold off a mind screw.

-both Marmalade and Every blink-

Katie: -wakes up- Mmmmm... That was like, the best sleep I've ever had. What time is it?

-Start takes the Thunder Wave-

Forte: -is woken up by Katie stirring awake- I had the nicest dream... it was about you and me, but we were both Eevees...

Amidst the chaos, P4 decides the cause is lost for him; he recalls Charmander. "Murkrow, Fly!".

Effie and Isabel stare each other down.

Isabel: Well, tell me, what would you do with the Orb, if you're too chicken to leverage it?

Effie: We would keep fools like you from repeating previous mistakes. Archie was a visionary, and we owe a lot to him- but a man who gazes at the mountains may miss the valley before them. There are powers we are meant to use to defend the sea, and powers that we were never meant to grasp.

Isabel's Quagsire: <Ooh, can I take you to Blue Moon Falls?>

The Quagsire Mud Shots Magneton, but in a way communicating that it really wanted to Water Gun it over a fall. ...seriously? How do you get that kind of expression from body language?

Anyhow, Bounty misses the spotlight, and wants to get back in the battle.

Bounty: Cor! :O

Bounty fires more Bubbles at the scraps of the table where the Diglett was last seen.

Street

Crewe: I dunno, something about summoning Rayquaza to control the weather or something? I wasn't really paying attention to it, the whole idea sounded too stupid for someone to try.

...I guess they actually did a few years back... hmm.

Gate

Celebi: Well, because the Feraligator wasn't cloned like the Salamence was... as far as I know anyhow...

Forte: We went on this big adventure together and we fought all of these other Pokémon side-by-side.

Icicle: Control the weather? Oh! I bet I could use that to make it snow! Which way is it to the orb?

Katie: Sounds nice. -smiles-

Right behind Start, across the side of the trophy, a dirt hole appears on the surface and Diglett pops out from it.

Diglett: <...There, I got it.> — sees Start — <Hey! Back off! For the glory of Team Magma!> — Astonishes Start.

Magneton: <Dude! Stop. Messing. With. My. Heads!> — floats around — <We need to abscond with this thing like, now!>

The Magneton floats around, locates Bounty and after building shining energy for a moment fires a Mirror Shot at the Pokémon.

Magneton: <That said, I'm happy that you're back.>

Marmalade: <Hey, I killed you once already!> -uses Crunch on the spacewarp mole-

In the Trophy Room

-Start takes the Astonish... And collapses-

<Start: "... Ow...">

<Barbie: "Nigel!">

<Nigel: "I'm on it!">

-And attempts Hydro Pump on the Diglett-
