<Nadia: "... Sentinel? What are you doing here?">

<Milo: "Gee, what do you think he's doing here?">

- Has begun my battle against Wattson, Tulip appears to be doing well so far -

Sentinel: <I'm eating. Gyms are perfect for feeding off of inadequacy.>

-looks at the wall of boulders-

Is this normally here?

Route 111

Forte: Why is she not here yet? I'm bored!

Shadow: <Just be patient.>

- The battle continues, Tulip manages to take down Electrike and Voltorb using the same strategy I've been using with her in other gym battles so far, but appears to have some problems with the Magneton -

Just stay calm, and stick to the strategy! You can do it, Tulip!

Tulip: <Are you really sure about th->

- Tulip trips and falls on her face, conveniently causing a Sonicboom attack from the Magneton to miss and fly over her -

Rex went off back to Slateport to pick up lunch. Bags upon bags of burgers and fries Zap and she would ride back on Aera, only to abruptly land behind Forte again, obnoxiously. The pair sat on Aera's back and ate their meal. About seven bags of fast food sat in the ancient pokemon's saddle bag while Rex ate from one nad Zap the other.

"So why is ya lookin' fer Mezzy anyway?" Rex questioned, the ear of her hood as she shoved an excess amount of food in her mouth.

Zap stood on Aera's head and ate, dropping meat nuggets into the ancient pokemon's mouth when she parted those massive, fang-filled jaws.

Forte: We were traveling together, but then she left me behind again! Hey, what about you? How do you know Piano?

Steven: Salamence, did you notice anything that could be keeping them?

Katie: Go Tulip!

Anyone have any Pokemon that know Rock Smash? -examines the boulders- Then again...these look like they were placed here deliberately.

Paused mid shovel, only to finish the act. Chewing seemed to be bypassed as she swallowed her 'well-earned' meal.

"Mezzy?" A devious look came across her face as she stared off. "I saved her life!" She gave a sagely nod, tipping her head enough so the blue bangs under her hood shuffled.

She crossed her legs, black sweats wrinkling a bit at her motion.

"She was captured in a tower by a Salamance and I rescued her. Though the armor I had to wear to protect myself from Flamethrower was heavy, it was a mighty battle!" She was now standing on Aera's back, regaling this epic tale.

Zap and Aera were still eating, dutifully ignoring their master.

Forte: Really?

Shadow: <Compared to the rest of her group, that almost sounds normal.>

-Has woken up, and is still slowly playing random songs-

- After a while, Tulip manages to take out Magneton, leaving only Manectric left -

Okay, let's finish this fast, I have friends to see.

- Continues following my strategy, hitting a little snag when it becomes apparent that Wattson has caught on, and tells his Manectric to hold its breath when Tulip unleashes the Sleep Powder -

Hmm...

At Mauville Gym

<Delta!Fraxure: "In... Inadequacy?">

At this point her tail was beating like a drum against Aera's back.

"Hooo yes! I fought off the Salamence with all my might, but it suddenly used headbutt on the tower and Mezzy fell." She jumped up and made extravagant motions to describe the misadventure.

"Without warning I had to think fast, so I called out my Snolax," She pauses to turn and whisper. "At this time I was training my other team while spelunking a new continent!" She turned back to the story and with each word out her mouth it became more and more fantastic.

By the end of it an Army of Piplup and an Empoleon joined the battle to save Princess Mezzy from the hands of the true enemy, Mistress Dreavy, a Mismagius with the intent on stealing Mezzy's youth.

Forte: Wow, you're amazing.

Leaflet: <Piano is a princess?>

Icicle: <No, I think she's just making it up.>

Steven: -is rather perplexed by the stranger-

Katie: You can do it!

Rex proudly crossed her arms over her chest and smirked.

"This is totally why it's imperative to know an adventurer and have them close by in case of trouble. Everyone's gotta eat!" Mostly her...and her pokemon. Much of the food she bought was gone, and one had to wonder where she put it all.

Zap: (What...?)

Aera shook her head. Just let it go. They wouldn't know half the names she used are pokemon from their group. The Ancient pokemon just settled her stomach on the ground seeing as they were not to be going any where for a while.

Icicle: <You think he'll figure it out?>

Shadow: <I could tell him, but it would just break his heart.>

- After a while, I manage to have Tulip wear down the Manectric to the point where she can hit him with Sleep Powder and Leech Seed -

All right! We've got him!

- Tulip continues using Mega Drain to drain the rest of the Manectric's energy -

Winked and pressed her fingers to her forehead in a mock salute.

"You bet! Right now I'm embarking on one of my greatest adventures to date! The Honenn region is known for its rich history, in violence. The creation of this valley was all thanks to an epic battle between two Legendary Pokemon that left it in shambles." She seemed smarter then she acted.

The adventurer hopped off the Aerodactyle and put her hands on her hips. "In fact I'm in search of the legendary pokemon that prevented the total destruction of the Hoenn region all those years ago. Ima wrestle him and ask for his autograph!"

Zap nodded and perked his crescent shaped ears.

Zap: (We're hoping he gives us audience with our credentials in place.)

The Raichu was very calm and a soft spoken sort.

Forte: Oh, cool! I'm sure he'd give his autograph to a great adventurer like you!

Can't come to the chat today, but I should be able to post since this looks just like my worksheet on camera.

As they made their way in the direction of Route 111's desert (Rex thanking his luck for conveniently already having goggles), the two Johtoians continued to converse. As they did so, their Pokemon, Lumen and Aqua to be precise, scurried about at their feet. The two giggled and pawed at each other, Aqua seemingly uncaring about the other's Electric typing.

Rex: The Battle Factory sounds tough...but from what I understand, you sweeped it pretty well!

Felix: To be honest, I have no idea how that happened. I think I just might've gotten lucky.

Rex: Luck is an important part of Pokemon battles. I hear this girl in another region won a Gym Match by gambling at the the Game Corner all day.

They both laughed at that, despite having seen far more silly things in the short time they'd been on their adventure. If only they knew of the giant tortilla...

Felix: The Battle Factory was very fun, though. In fact, I swept my second round with my Manectric alone.

He looked over at Lumen, wondering to himself if his own Pokemon would be able to reach that level of strength one day.

Rex: In any case, the Battle Frontier sounds interesting. Maybe I can participate there when I get the chance; I think my team is a bit overlevelled for most of the gyms.

Portales: -concerned- <Ohhh... Did anyone bring an umbrella?>

- Manages to defeat Wattson and earn my third badge -

All right! Well done, Tulip!

Tulip: (looking pretty tired from having to pretty much handle the entire battle on her own) <Thanks, I did my best, yes...>

Now, let's take a quick stop at the Pokémon Center and then go catch up to the others!
