A couple days ago, in Slateport.

-Is milling about with team-

<Francis: "Mmph. What are we doing here anyways?">

<Audrey: "It's a big city, I'm sure we'll find something...">

-Happening to notice a flyer-

"... J-Con?"

<Thog: "Why'd you suddenly get so quiet?">

<Teala: "... Everyone's really that popular?">

"Urgh... This is just like that conference in Sinnoh again..."

-Flying over-

<Zoltan: "Tracer! Tracer! There's a place with a ton of people that look like our friends just a few blocks away! Can we go?">

"NO."

<Zoltan: "But-">

<Kat: "... I think that it would be best if we didn't, Zoltan...">

<Zoltan: "Aww...">

Yesterday, at an undisclosed location in Hoenn

-A figure is reporting to two others-

???: "And that's what we found out."

??? #2: "WHAT?!"

??? #3: "How on earth is that possible?!"

???: "Don't ask me. That's what the grunts from the cyberintel division said. And the plans that they found out seem remarkably complete."

-Presents a folder containing schematics of a machine, along with data pertaining to advanced cloning techniques-

??? #2: "Nice going with that organization there."

??? #3: "Hey, shut up! It's not mine anymore!"

???: "Actually... That was something that I was planning on bringing up... We know that those nimrods in hoodies and bandannas- Er... No offense. Have been up at each other's throats since they came back. And our intel division was able to get this..."

??? #3: "This doesn't gel with any of the information that we've heard before though!"

??? #2: "Where are you going with this?"

??? #1: "I was thinking, and I know that a number of the grunts would approve... Maybe we should get in this act on our own. I mean, these schematics relate to Groudon, I'm certain that they could be adapted to a Pokemon that is more... Fitting to this organization."

??? #2: "Yes, because a physical god with the power to sunder this region is EXACTLY what this organization needs..."

??? #3: "As much as my counterpart and I have had a history of not seeing eye to eye. I'll have to concur with his point."

???: "I see. I'll handle the matter accordingly."

Now - In Mauville

<Gene: "Sorry that things didn't work out, guys...">

<Nadia: "I can't believe that that didn't count! We would have won that match!">

<Milo: "Well hey, someone couldn't stay on the field!">

<Delta!Fraxure: "Sorry.">

<Lake: "Don't rub it in, Milo... So did we want to try again, Gene?">

<Gene: "Actually, I'm not sure yet...">

Slateport, Now.

<Francis: "... Did we seriously run into a moron whose grand evil plan was to move everything in the world over to the left by an inch?">

<Thog: "It was to the right by an inch.">

<Francis: "Same difference!">

"Hmm..."

<Audrey: "Something on your mind?">

-Thinking-

"Yeah..."

<Audrey: "It's about that Ledian, isn't it?">

"You could say that... I want to try to get closer to her... But I don't know where to start... And she seems like she doesn't really want to get close to me..."

<Audrey: "... Well... I think I know why she doesn't want to get close to anyone...">

"Why's that?"

<Audrey: "She seems afraid of betrayal.">

<Thog: "... Have any of you seen Zoltan?">

-The song wraps up and most of the crowd dissipates to go get some final fandom in before everyone packs up-

-Pentigan is standing on stage, chatting with the cast of the J-Team musical. And then he's handcuffed by the Black-Clad Fangirl who is holding a pokeball and a knife in her other hand-

BCF: Heh, I've been waiting a long time to bring you in. You really shouldn't of revealed yourself like that, it was rather stupid.

Pentigan: Nah, stupid would have been actually attending when I have a perfectly good pokemon to take me place. -Head turns around, face morphs into a trollface and then Pentigan collapses into pink goo. Aparently it was Shift all along-

-In the announcer's box, the real Pentigan turns off his mic and chuckles-

-Manages to spot Tracer and his mons-

Oh look it's Tracer and the others.

Gaia: <Let's go see them then.>

-Walks over-

I see you've been avoiding J-Con too.

Mauville

Muddy: <How could that have gone so wrong?>

Roc: -Shrugs while preening his comb- <I don't even want to talk about it Muddy.>

Crewe, seeing a random Castform floating around, wanders over towards it.

"Hi there. Are you missing your Trainer?"

Claudia: <Oh, hi!> *floats around Crewe's head* <Rex called on the phone a little while ago, but Felix is nice too!> *tilts her head, floating upside down at the moment* <I wonder how Whitney is doing.>

Slateport

"Yeah... I think I'll pass on immersing myself among the crazies..."

<Teala: "... Wait, where is Zoltan anyways?">

At J-Con

-Peering out from the top of a stand-

<Zoltan: "Wow! I didn't know that there were so many of our friends!">

Zoltan's missing?

Gaia: <This is bad, remember that time when we left Luxray and Rampardos alone? Well, they were a Luxio and a Cranidos back then.>

Yeah, she ended up getting sick when she ate a Starly that she killed.

Crewe tilts her head, hearing a familiar name.

"Did you say Rex? By any chance, was he recently in the Orange Islands, and if so did he happen to meet several strangers at a smoothie bar?"

A passing fan, hearing only a few words, sprints off yelling, "CREX OTP!"

Claudia: *nods* <I remember he said that!> *makes a confused noise in the Crex Shipper's direction before turning back to Crewe* <You know my trainer? :3>

"... Yeah, we should find him fast."

<Thog: "Why would he get sick though? I thought that he was supposed to be some kind of ancient dragon Pokemon or something!">

Crewe smiles at her, ignoring the shipper.

"I think I do. I was one of the trainers he met at the smoothie bar. I'm Crewe, nice to meet you."

Claudia: <Oh hi!> *stops floating around and stays still* <I'm Claudia. Is my trainer here? What kind of Pokemon do you have? Do you like weather?>

-Star is watching a screening of the J-Team series-

Elsewhere, the shipper has found his friends and they've gotten to work on a new fanfic, hoping to show it to their idol, Midnight Sun 197, who apparently has a booth!

Pink Catgirl Cosplayer: Whoops! Had a bit of a slip there, tied it to 7 planes instead of just the Electric one. Shouldn't make a difference, though. ♥

Prehistoric Pokemon tend to have trouble eating modern foods due to differences in gut flora and receptors. It can cause them to go into anaphylactic shock.

Hey, in my defense, he totally looked like Crewe from the back.

Jess: He did have an amazing costume.
