Sierra: (smiles) Sure, why not?

"PARESSE!" Parisse looked up as he heard a voice, only to be tackled by a pretty girl with green hair. "Wait you're not my lazy boy... My apologies." She bowed and took off. Parisse blinked. "Odd girl.." Depthcharge shook in his pokeball suddenly. "Hmm? What is it?"

West Sea Gastrodon: *Opens two eyes to look at Nudi. Might have opened her leftmost eye, but it is still regenerating from some kind of nasty scratch.*

<You woke me up.>

Ryklys: *notices Nudi, closes her book*

Hmm. I'm guessing... "Nudi". *glances up, scanning the room for Nudi's trainer*

Pummelo Stadium

Copahue observes as the battleground changes. As does Maekrite. Neither of them are happy, but Maekrite is pretty patent about his discomfort.

Copahue — <There goes my line of thought...> — roosts on a rock.

Maekrite -roars — <Awww come on!> — turns to me — <Please tell me Drake does not have a Gyarados, or a Milotic!>

"Hmmmm... Copahue, you think you can maneuver here?"

Copahue — <Errr, there are rocks to stand on...> — stomps his rock.

"What if you fall to the water?"

Copahue's eyes get big and he looks at the water. He shudders for a moment. That's all that Silent needs to know.

"I'm recalling you, Copahue..." Silent announces, instantly recalling the bird.

Silent gives Drake an OK, then prompts Maekrite to come ahead.

Maekrite — <Rrrrr... this is gonna suck...> — leaps to a rock, then growls at Drake.

Silent sends out [Maekrite the Nidorino] holding a Black Sludge.

Forte: Oh, there always has to be some stupid gimmick, doesn't there?

-Vyvyan is grinning like an Idiot-

Vyvyan: Bridget? Slateport of you please~

Bridget: <Yessir! You crazy lovebird...>

-Bridget claps his hands and teleport everyone to Slateport-

Inka and Baluarkos hug. They let out a brief frown after Drake sends out Venusaur, but still roar and growl for their firstborn.

Maekrite glares at the Venusaur.

Maekrite — <I can't poison you, but you are still going down!>

"Hmmm... Maekrite, stand ready. Stay near the water and begin with Hone Claws, then Ice Beam!>

Maekrite paces around the pool, Hones Claws and then turns to Venusaur to fire an Ice beam aimed directly at the flower.

Algira nuzzles Helios.

Algira — <Awww you are so cute to come see me...> — smooches him again. — <Trainer was a bit unhappy because you all guys had left for Hoenn... but I guess once he finds out he'll get a morale boost!>

She dances proudly around Helios, forgetting her battle predicament for a moment. Just for a moment.

<You know I was doing well until that Hypnosis, I think... hey, wait...> — stares at Helios, a mixture of amusement and annoyance in her patterns. — <You are sleeping at my battle?> — she buzzes.

So you're going to head to Slateport soon?

Drake: Knock it off balance with Earthquake, Venusaur!

Venusaur: <Raaah!>

The giant dino Pokemon stamp its foot again, sending a tremor through the ground. Hopefully, it would send Maekrite off course, Drake thought to himself. Otherwise it would be bad news for Venusaur...

Nudi: -Gets on my back- <Nice to meet you Read!>

The Ice Beam has already reached Venusaur's flower when the impact from the Earthquake hits Maekrite and forces him down to the ground. He takes a lot of damage and needs a moment to stand up.

Maekrite — <Rrrr... You want a repeat?>

"Don't get distracted, Maekrite, take advantage of the Accuracy boost and fire a Thunderbolt at it!"

Maekrite nods, then steps back closer to the water. After he feels safe, he strafes the Venusaur running away from the pool and fires a Thunderbolt at the Venusaur.

Pummelo Stadium - Stands

Rex: Blame the anim- OW!

Faith: *pinching her son's ear* No breaking the fourth wall.

Rex: Awww, mom...

Pummelo Stadium - Arena

Venusaur: *shakes his leaves, feeling extremely chilled* <Brr...> *the Thunderbolt seems to revitalize him, helping him shake off the feeling of being frozen somewhat*

Drake: Venusaur, use Worry Seed.

Venusaur: *shoots seeds at Maekrite*
