Felix: ...It looks exactly the same as the last town! :|

Girl: *pokes her head out of a nearby tree* Actually, there's one more building here than in Littleroot. And it has a market and a Pokemon Center.

Felix: ...Why are you in a tree?

Girl: Research. *hops down, brushing off her clothes*

Oldale Town

<Francis: "Wait, just how bad IS his singing anyways?">

<Teala: "Um... Tracer? Where's Zoltan?">

"!!!"

-Looks around and notices that Zoltan is missing-

<Nadia: "... Well this is just fantastic...">

"Oh, shoot! Where was the last place that any of you saw hi-"

<Kat: "Right there.">

-Points over at Luke and company a short distance away-

"... Luke? What are you doing here? And has Zoltan been bothering you?"

<Zoltan: "We're looking for Stratus!">

<Thog: "Why, what happened to him?">

<Nadia: "... He ran off, didn't he?">

Soundwave had gone ahead, smart enough to know Shroomish would come out if a trainer wasn't near. He headed to the forests.

Meanwhile Seaspray was going rampant, running about and challenging random Pokemon to battles, much to Parisse's dismay.

Chord: <Well, why else would he not be here?>

"Oh no, Zoltan's been fine! He hasn't bothered us at all!"

Lake: <Yeah, he's been good, just like always.>

Flare: <Wait, he belongs to Tracer? I thought you caught an Aerodactyl while we were gone!>

Wulfric: -Makes some more gestures.-

Flare: <Yeah, we've got some catching up to do.>

Stratus went missing?

Tropius: -To Francis- <He wouldn't be winning any Sinn Idol competitions outside of his own kind, that's for sure.>

Oldale Town

Girl: You must be new here.

Felix: Yeah, I just came over from Johto.

Girl: Oh, really? I've never been there before. What's it like?

Felix: Less grassy.

Girl: I bet. *extends a dirt-covered white glove* May Birch.

Felix: Felix. ...Wait, Birch? As in Prof. Birch?

May: Yep. *stretches* Why? You know my pops?

Felix: Oh, I just delivered a package to him. It's part of my training to be a researcher.

May: Oh, really?

Felix: Yep!

May: *looks at the Pokemon* And these are your Pokemon?

Felix: Erm...actually, I'm borrowing these from a friend of Prof. Elm's. One of his Pokedex researchers, I think. I have to make sure that they're happy, otherwise I don't pass my test.

May: I see. *looks at them* Y'know, I'm pretty good at telling how Pokemon feel. I can see how much they like you.

Felix: Oh, you'd do that for me?

May: Sure. *smiles* Now, let's see... *examines them all, making sure not to invade Mantisk or Anya's personal space ("Scizor and Grovyle are proud creatures. They won't like it if you disrespect them.")*

-To Tagg.- "Yeah, he just went and vanished last night. We've had to get Wulfric out to look for him."

-Wulfric nods a greeting, then goes back to scanning for Stratus' aura.-

Flare: <You haven't seen him anywehere, have you? Also, is Limna okay?>

Hmm... On one hand, there isn't really much we can do about Charon when we don't know where he is, and Looker is already investigating it. On the other hand, it doesn't really feel right to keep secrets from the others.

Velvet: <So... Even though there isn't much we can do about it, we're still going to tell them?>

- Nods -

Yeah, I guess.

May: Okay, I think I've got it figured out.

Felix: So?

May: Claudia seems to be alright with you. Jemma isn't completely affectionate towards you, but she's willing to humor you.

Felix: *smiles*

May: Minty still isn't sure how to feel yet. I'd suggest spending more time with him.

Minty: *shuffles shyly*

May: As for the rest of them...

Felix: Yeah?

May: Well...Mantisk seems to think pretty poorly of you as a person. He also doesn't like your face.

Felix: ...what.

Mantisk: *nods*

May: Anya thinks your lack of experience will result in a boring trip for her and that you have no right to be using Pokemon someone else trained.

Anya: *crosses her arms*

Felix: B-but...

May: And Ohm just hates your guts.

Ohm: *smiles at Felix*

Felix: D:

May: How did you make an Ampharos angry?

-Is asleep-

Tangelo

After Fury Attacking for a while and following Lian around, Maekrite dashes in and passes by the side, trying to trample Lian's legs with one of his paws.

(Hard to keep secrets when the bard can read your mind)

Soundwave came back with a pokeball. "OPERATION: COMPLETE" Parisse grinned. "Yes a shroomish! Thanks Soundwave!"

- Waits for Wolf and the others to show up, while watching Velvet play with Odette -

Velvet: (using psychic to create some artifical wind currents) <Well, Odette? Can you try to fly?>

Odette: (runs and flaps her wings, the wind carrying her into the air a few feet) <It's almsot working!>

Artemis: <Thanks for offering to help her, Velvet.>

Mira: <Yes. It will probably not be long before our little Odette will finally learn to fly.>

Velvet: <You're welcome, girls!>

May: So...yeah, you might want to work on that. ^^;;

Felix: B-but...how?

May: That's what being a researcher is about, silly. *stretches again* Anyway, I need to get going. Going to check out some species near Rustboro before challenging the gym. I hear Roxanne has the weakest team this season, so that'll be a good place to start. *pulls off one of her dirty gloves, puts two fingers to her lips, and whistles*

Torchic: *peeks out of the tree*

Aron: *also peeks out*

May: C'mon, you two. Let's get going.

Torchic: *leaps out of the tree, landing on her head* ^_^

Aron: *climbs down...before falling onto the ground in a heap* @_@

May: *helps him up* Oh, Aron. *picks him up and brushes the dirt off of him, heading left of Oldale*

Felix: ... *turns to the Pokemon*

Claudia: 8D

Jemma: ^_^

Minty: :)

Mantisk: :/

Anya: U_U

Ohm: >:(

Felix: ... How am I supposed to change my face?

Parisse smiled then sighed. "Well I'll have to train them.. And I never finished the Hoenn gyms.. Screw it Soundwave.. As much as I don't like battling it has to be done." Soundwave nodded.

- Still waiting, while thinking about the many things I'll probably be doing during our stay in Hoenn -

Felix and Co. are walking across the route. Unsurprisingly, Ohm, Anya, and Mantisk are hanging back. Minty is currently resting on Felix's right shoulder.

Felix: ...Heh...can't believe there's more grass, huh guys?

Mantisk: <Hilarious.>

Felix: *sighs*
