-Guardé sheathes his arm blades, crossing his arms in disgust.-

Guardé: <Thankfully they won't be causing any more trouble any time soon, thanks to you. Now, may I ask you two something? Where is this? And who is this person?> -Gestures at Ori.-

Tulip: <Hmm... I'm not sure what this island was called, yes. It might be Mikan, yes.> (looks over at Ori) <That over there is Ori, he's new, yes.>

Odette: (looks over at Beat, tilting her head slightly)

Guardé: <What? This is the Orange Islands?!> -Looks worried.- <Darn it, I was only supposed to teleport a few feet, but I've gone miles instead! Ooh, the others aren't going to like this. Especially Chord. He's probably gonna' hang me upside down all night again.> -Shudders.- <Ooh, what to do, what to do...>

-Is at a Mikan beach giving Algira [and] Ichtacya some training-

Ichtacya the Leafeon — <You come back, jerk!> — chases after Algira and throws an Energy Ball at her.

   Algira the Masquerain    — joyfully evades, then hovers upside down and unleashes an Ominous Wind — <Tee hee~ you need to improve so much!>

-Takes out his map that Luana gave him-

<This is Mikan, yes. And, yes, I can understand you.>

Beat: -Ruffles Odette's feathers affectionately- <Sup, kid?>

Tulip: (tilts head) <Hmm... I am not sure what to do about that, yes.>

Odette: (giggles a little)

<Why don't you stay with us until we can get you back to Quest Island safely. It sounds like a fun place, so I assume you want to return quickly.>

-Escavalier gets kicked out of the Ghost Ship-

Escavalier: <Fine! I, Escavalier, am too good for you anyway!>

-He pouts and leaves, returning to his designated waiting spot-

-The Gallade pauses to think about Ori's offer. Although he didn't want to seem like he was deserting his team, Guardé wasn't too keen on the prospect of going back and being punished by a very angry Ariados. It honestly seemed like Chord enjoyed torturing him, rather unfitting for a bard.-

Guardé: <...Fine. I'll take you up on that offer. Thanks a lot.>

-They wouldn't have any trouble without him, anyway. Two of them had even defeated a legendary, for goodness sake. A bunch of Tyranitar wouldn't be too difficult for them.-

-August and June are wandering around still-

-Pats Guarde on the back- <Welcome to the team. Now, I was going to challenge another one of these... Gyms that I just found out about. Care to join me?>

Odette: (clapping her wings together) <Yay! Great hero Guardé stays!>

Guardé: <Oh? You want my help to challenge the gyms? Hmm...> -Thinks.- <It sounds tempting. I'll have to think about it.> -Turns his attention to Odette, blusing a little.- <Aww. I'm glad to be here with you, Odette. Now you'll have me around in case you have to go on any more adventures!>

Kim: *exits the Poke Center after saying her goodbyes to Silent* Now let's see. We'll probably need to do some sea travel in order to complete our investigation.

Clover: *sets Minun down* <There you go. The island air should probably help your cold~>

Minun: *shakes the blanket off and stretches his legs*

Kim: *picks up the blanket, storing it in her backpack for later* Alright, let's see if we can find something to ride on. *looks around the island, noting the nearby beach* Alright, let's head over there.

~One trek to the beach later~

Clover: *explaining the Ranger concept to Minun* <...and Rangers have their partner Pokemon like me help them with captures.>

Minun: <So, you don't stay in a Pokeball?>

Clover: *tilts her head* <Umm...oh, that thing that Aqua is always playing with? No, we don't have those.> *shudders* <I can't imagine what they're like. They seem so cramped...>

Minun: *nods in agreement*

Kim: *observing the nearby species* Let's see...Kingler wouldn't be a good choice, considering my size...Starmie wouldn't be able to hold the three of us....

Odette: (smiles)

???: Excuse me sir, can you show me where the nearest Pokemon Center is?

-Points in the direction of the Pokemon Center-

~Suddenly, a Mantine floats up from the depths of the sea, swimming closer to the shore in order to observe the human sitting there~

Kim: *loops several circles around the Mantine*

Mantine: *blows bubbles at the loops, trying to resist capture*

Minun: <...Is that all that Rangers do?>

Clover: <Ummm...sometimes they pose.>

-Is having a dream-

-In it, I'm sailing the sea on the back of a giant Corsola with a propellor-

-It suddenly shifts, and now I'm on a planetoid that appears to be a giant Razz Berry-

-I head inside, and find an office inside. I attempt to reach into the shirt pocket on my tuxedo, but my hand won't go in because something is in the way-

-Groggily wakes up, realizing that the thing blocking my hand in the dream is my chest-

-Remembers the events of last night-

-Closes my eyes and sighs-

Odette: <DS? We gonna watch Guardé battle?>
