Katie: -wakes up in the Pokemon Centre, and heads over to Mezzo and Every's hotel-

- Continues wandering around with my Pokémon, has yet to see any of the others -

Artemis: <So, this monster you say the wild Pokémon have been going on about... Any idea what kind of Pokémon it might be?>

Ribbons: (shakes head) <No. The descriptions don't sound like anything we've come across before...>

Tulip: <Do you think Escavalier went off to fight the beast, yes?>

Ribbons: <Well, either that, or he's still after that ghost ship.>

Sunny: <Hmm. Maybe it can show you the way to the next temple?>

-Mezzo is still asleep in her room-

Katie: -waiting patiently in the lobby of Mezzo and Every's hotel-

...?

-holds it out in front of me-

Pentigan, Fool, Anom, I'm going to search the beaches for the amulet, see if it washed up anywhere near there. Wish me luck.

-Jumps off the boat, onto Mama, surfs away-

-the Triforce glows, and the triangles point toward the ocean-

Sunny: <Maybe you should try sailing that way!>

-heads to the boat, releasing Kensei on the way-

Kensei: <Good morning, Wolf. Good morning, sweetheart!>

-At the gates of the Mikan Gym-

Receptionist — gives a disapproving look at Ichtacya and Algira — ... But you need a water Pokémon to compete.

Algira — <What you bean I'm not a water Pokémon you b-> — flashes angrily on top of my head — <But I am a water Pokémon! Or at least I evolve from one!>

— Isn't the challenge something like shooting water at objects? Sure my Pokémon can do that.

Receptionist — shrugs — I suspect you wouldn't be so keen on the idea of surfing on your Masquerain for the second challenge though...

— ...Oh.

-to team-

— We'll have to go train a Water Pokémon...

Ichtacya — annoyed — <What about the thing with tentacles?>

— ...One I can later surf on...

-goes away eat something-

Sunny: <Good morning, hun. How are you doing?>

-climbs into the boat-

Kensei: <Very well, thank you. What about you?> -climbs in behind Wolf-

Sunny: <Oh, me too. It's been fun staying with you.>

Gone for an hour or so.

Kensei: <It's been fun having you here.>

-they cuddle in the back of the boat while I set sail in the direction the Triforce is pointing-

- Continues wandering around, walking past some random trainers -

(thinking) Hmm... Maybe I should train Odette and Tulip a little...

- Stops -

Or, I could try calling one of the others again...

- A Mareep belonging to one of the trainers curiously walks up to Tulip in the background -

... But who should I call?

- While I think about this, the Mareep attempts to eat the leaves on Tulip's head -

Tulip: <Hey! What do you think you're doing, yes!? Haven't you ever heard of the concept of asking for permission first, yes!?>

- The Mareep doesn't seem to hear Tulip and continues trying to eat the leaves, Odette curiously walks over -

Tulip: <Odette, help me, yes!>

Odette: (tilts head slightly) <Why is that cloud trying to eat you?>

Tulip: (sighs)

Good thing I took the amulet off, I guess...

-is bored on a boat yet again-

Whatever Island DS is on

-There's a bright flash, then a certain Gallade materializes, his arm blades drawn and in a fighting stance.-

Guardé: <BACK YOU AWFUL TYRANITAR! Stay away or you shall get a first hand taste of sweet justi- Wait a minute.> -Looks around.- <...This isn't Quest Island...>

-Tosses and turns, in discomfort-

Odette: (happily) <Guardé!>

- The rest of my Pokémon are a bit starled by Guardé's sudden appearance, the random Mareep looks up curiously, leaving Tulip's leaves covered in Mareep drool -

Tulip: <... Eww...>

- The Mareep's trainer calls to it, and it wanders off -

-Not expecting to be attacked, Guardé is caught of guard and knocked onto his back by Ori's punch. The Gallade bites his lip, obviously in pain.-

Guardé: <Ow! Owowow...>

-Guardé looks around weakly, spotting Odette right next to him.-

Guardé: <...Odette? Am I dead? Have you come to take me to the afterlife?>

Odette: (giggles)

Tulip: <No, you're not dead, yes.>

Odette: (smiles) <I was hero like you, Guardé! Helped the Aipom get their Nanabs back, and saved helped save my mothers, Silvermist and Anom's Pokémon!>

Artemis: <Well, we weren't actually in any real danger, but we still appreciate what you guys did for us...>

-Sees Odette and Tulip-

Hey you guys! What happened after I left?

-Helps Guarde up-

...Sorry, man.

-Guardé let's Ori help him up, still in some pain.-

Guardé: <Ow. It's fine. But please try to remember that it's rude to punch other peoplemons like that.> -To Odette.- <Oh? You did all those things? And I missed out on it? Bah!>

-The Gallade kicks an imaginary pebble.-

Guardé: <I can't believe that I missed out! With my help, you could have accomplished all that in less than a day, I bet!> -Shakes his head.- <Still, it seems that you did a brilliant job in my absence, Odette. I'm very proud.>

Odette: (grins) <Yay!>

Tulip: <... Oddly enough, despite the many battles, neither of us seemed to learn any moves or become stronger, yes. Then again, it might've had to do with the unusual opponents, yes.>
