<Nadia: "... Are we really going to be able to last that long? Might as well give things a shot...">

-Nadia begins to make a series of rhythmic movements-

<Nadia: "You may be divine, but you'll still need to hit us! Err... Wait, that wasn't too boastful, was it, Lake?">

<Milo: "... Does she really think that's going to help?">

<Shaun: "Just watch and see how things play out.">

Drake: -Turns to face Daisy- Hello madame Daisy. -Smiles, then turns his attention back to the eggs- <Such tiny wonders...>

Damian: -nods back at Diesel, then looks off over the water for our boat-

Well, like I said, I haven't been spending enough time with Mace. He, Sammy, and Hecate are my only Unova Pokemon left.

Mace: <In all honesty, there was not much of a team from my home region to begin with.>

AU Daisy: Yeah. The eggs are cute.

-Drops, but pulls out Mama, and has her use Aqua Jet, blasting him up, and allowing him to grab hold of Anom, DS, and Tagg. The Aqua Jet manages to get the group to the top, but Aqua Jet is out of PP now-

Thanks, Mama. Sorry, guys, but that's all Mama can help with, unless you guys have Ethers.

Oh, this is Mace?

Jab: -runs over to Mace- <Hey! You picked berries, right? Crewe gave me some berries yesterday, they were really good. Thanks!>

-Gets grabbed-

-Grabs the eggs as the iPhokex plays this-

Mace: <I do. There's a high demand for them on my team. I'm glad you enjoyed them.>

Lake: -Shakes his head.- <Nah, I wouldn't say so. Okay, here's goes nothing!>

-Lake opens his mouth and breaths a stream of bubbles at Ho-oh.-

Ho-oh: Bubblebeam? I've never seen a Feraligatr who's been able to use that move. Interesting.

-The great bird simply raises a Safeguard, the bubbles popping harmlessly as they hit the shield, causing it to flicker into existence briefly before disappearing again.-

Lake: <Nadia, can you distract him for me? I'm going to try something.>

-The Feraligatr takes the opportunity to drop to all fours and run around to Ho-oh's side, then jumps and slides underneath the bird, unnoticed for the time being.

The cloud of irritating bubbles now gone, Ho-oh drops his shield, focusing on Nadia. Flames forming in his beak, the bird takes a deep breath, only to be receive an Ice Punch from underneath.-

Ho-oh: AAAHHH!!!

-With Lake now spotted, Ho-oh switches targets and blasts Lake with a scorching Flamethrower attack, the strong sunlight almost overpowering Lake's resistance to Fire type attacks.-

Lake: <YOW! HOT!>

Tagg?

- Blinks a few times -

... Huh.

- Odette and Tulip come back out from their balls -

Tulip: <Are we safe now, yes?>

Odette: (looks around) <Quack?>

Jab: <Yeah, they were good! And I got to chase them, too!> -waves claws- <Fun!>

Mace: -raises an eyebrow- <Chase berries? Did they run from you?>

Jab: <No, but I gave them to Trainer so he could throw them, and he threw them so I could catch them!> -runs to a nearby pole and back to show off his speed-

-Watching Lake get hit by Flamethrower-

<Audrey: "Oh wow, that looked painful...">

<Nadia: "AAH! LAKE!">

-Quickly swoops down and throws Lake onto her back-

<Thog: "... Isn't the idea to give Ho-Oh more targets to swat at?">

<Nadia: "Lake, I know that this is going to sound insane, but I think that our best odds of not losing right away would be if we stuck together. We have a couple tricks up our sleeve that we can pull if we fight together...">

Mace: <Impressive. There are very few Pokemon with more speed than your line. I hope you learn to use it well.>

Where's Tagg?

I brought him up... I wonder where he went.

... Think's it safe up here? I'm a little tired from dodging all those... things...

Jab: <Heh, thanks! I will!>

-The Feraligatr adjusts himself on Nadia's back so that he's sitting properly. then grabs hold to ensure that he doesn't fall off.-

Lake: -Smiles.- <Let's do it together, then!>

Ho-oh: -Smiles.- Very good, you two. But now that he's on Nadia's back, Earthquake will be useless against them. -Shakes his head.- Ah well. I have many more tricks up my sleeves.

-Ho-oh cries loudly, then uses Psychic the to hold the two in place.-

Ho-oh: Gotca'!

Lake: <OH NO!>

-Unable to move, Ho-oh begins to glow a bright light.-

Harriet: <That's SKY ATTACK!>

Treeo: <Uh-oh. This won't be good...>

Lake: <Hold on Nadia, I've got this.>

-Still able to move his jaw, Lake takes a deep breath and blows a Bubble around him and Nadia.-

Pleo: -Tilts his head.- <Why is Lake blowing a Dive Bubble?>

Chord: <That's a Bubble Shield, kid. Not a Dive Bubble. Lake's made one to protect the two of from Sky Attack.>

Pleo: <Oh...Cool! Do you think he could teach me how to do that?>

Chord: -Shrugs.- <Maybe.>

Ho-oh: Bubble Shield, eh? -Smirks.- Has he forgotten who Suicune's father was? I'll have them out of there easily.

-Now seemingly ablaze with energy, Ho-oh charges at the two at great speed. The attack hits with great force, but Lake's bubble absorbs the blow...But not without sending the flying back...-

Lake: <WHOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAA!!!>

-Where they hit and tree and bounce back straight towards Ho-oh...-

Ho-oh: ...Oh dear.

-Where they slam into his face, knocking the wind out of the bird.-

Ho-oh: OOF! That wasn't very clever on my part...

Mace: -smiles at him- <See to it that you do.>

So... when's the boat getting here?
