-Is somewhat relieved that only the four of us (To my knowledge) know, but is still blushing embarrassedly-

I'm going to pass this off as DS missing Wolf.

-After a long night of fighting Ice-type Pokemon that are actually made of ice, I have finally procured a bag full of bombs-

Tulip: <We won't, yes!> (aside, to Odette) <Although if we ever need it, this is great blackmail material, yes!>

Odette: (snickers)

- Not hearing the last part Tulip whispered to Odette -

Good...

- Looks around -

So... Where are we going next?

Those ruins.

...We should set off for there soon...

- Nods -

Okay. I wonder what awaits us in there?

I don't know. I have no clue who built it, even.

-The beach leads into a short bit of forest, before opening up to a long aqueduct-

I guess we use the aqueduct as a bridge to the rest of the ruins.

- Nods -

Okay.

-The walk along the aqueduct is fairly uneventful until...-

Another floating barrel...

-I touch it, and am suddenly pulled in and launched like a cannonball onto the other side of a gap-

Ow.

Tulip: <What was that, yes?>

Odette: (giggles) <I wanna fly too!>

... Are you okay, Anom?

Yeah. Just brace yourself for landing. Or I'll catch you-

-Remembers what we just went through-

Uhh, brace yourself for landing, I guess. It's not too bad for some reason.

- Nods -

Uh... Okay. (to Odette and Tulip) Hold on tight, you two.

- Braces myself for the landing as I let the barrel launch, me, Odette and Tulip across the gap -

... Huh. That went well.

Tulip: (slightly confused) <... We're unharmed, yes?>

Odette: (giggles) <Can we do it again?>

It would be impossible to get back to that barrel from here. Let's just proceed, if you're lucky maybe there will be more ahead.

-We walk along the aqueduct. It soon becomes more difficult, with Klinks floating around in gaps for us to dodge-

- Continues walking, dodging the Klinks as we go -

-We soon enter the ruins, statues of Aipoms and Ambipoms present in large quantity-

-There are more barrel cannons, and what appear to be large switches placed right in the path of some of the cannons-

Wonder what those do...?

- Shrugs -

I wouldn't know...

Odette: <Ooh! Let's find out!>

Tulip: (sweatdrops)

-I hesitantly try it, and am blasted at a switch-

-The impact presses it, opening a path. I bounce back into the cannon, which then rotates toward a now-open passageway-

I can launch this when I want, so we could all go at once. Ready?

- Nods -

Yeah, I guess.

Odette: <Ready!>

Tulip: <Yes.>

- Enters the cannon -

-Has made it onto Mandarin Island-

So now we're on Mandarin Island, the largest in the chain.

Thresher: <Now that we're here, what do we do now?>

Explore of course.

Johto Safari Zone - Rocky Beach Area

Simon: <You look ridiculous.>

Lewis: <Who, me?>

Simon: <No, both of you.>

-Since before, Unite has made progress by actually submerging most of his body in the water...But only while clinging tightly to Lewis' back, the frightened Braviary still shivering like mad. Due to Unite's extra weight, The Floatzel has had to inflate his sack in order to stay a-float.-

Lewis: <Hey, at least we're getting there. Slowly.>

Unite: -Glares at Simon.- <Hey! Y-you could l-learn to swim t-too, ya' know!>

Simon: -Shakes his head.- <Can't.> -Holds up his metal claws.- <I'd sink like a stone thanks to these.>

Unite: <...Hmph.>

Lewis: <Just ignore him, Unite. Now, are you going to let go yet?>

Unite: <But...The water's so deep!>

Lewis: <It's not that deep. You could touch the floor easily, I bet.>

Unite: <...Can't I just ride you to the Orange Islands instead?>

Simon: <What if you somehow fall off, though?>

Unite: <...> -Whimpers.-

Lewis: -To Simon.- <Not helping.>

-I then launch it (Somehow) and we're blasted deeper into the ruins, landing in another barrel-

Huh?

-We seem to be in a maze of switches and barrels, with the barrel we're in rotating 90 degrees every now and then to allow movement through the maze-

Hmm... You see the solution here?

- Looks around -

Hmm...

-Hesitantly launches us a few times toward the switch, making sure not to launch us into one of the spike walls-

-We hit the switch, and several of the barrels rearrange, opening a fairly clear path to the ledge-

- Looks around -

Oh, well done!

-The next room contains cascading waterfalls, with platforms attached to watermills being rotated. Down below are Sharpedos-

I don't like water any more...
