So, yeah. After living through that I thought I needed a break, so Every and I ran off on our own.

-A Claydol garbed in kalimba-like pieces of wood floats up to us-

-It begins trying to use hypnosis on us-

Ohh, I see. Yeah, that's not working on us. Now let the Pokemon go.

-On the beach-

-Nadia and Teala slip out from a trance-like state-

"You two okay?"

<Iggy: "Yeah, you were spaced out for a while...">

<Nadia: "Yeah, we're fine...">

<Teala: "We just had a bit of a strange experience...">

<Nadia: "... Did Kat ever know a Marowak called Yellow Line, by any chance?">

<Toothless: "You know, that name actually sounds like it ought to be really familiar... If we ever heard of it before...">

<Teala: "I wonder how that Typhlosion is doing...">

<Typhlosion: "Huh? Oh... I'm back...">

<AU!Buggy: "Even if it was on one of those islands filled with Marowak?">

<AU!Nibbler: "(*shiver*) Eep!">

<AU!Buggy: "Thought s- OW!">

-Is smacked hard by the Druddigon-

<Druddigon: "Don't do that to him!">

<Drapion: "You think we'll find anyone to talk to to- Wait...">

-The form of a Typhlosion draws near-

<Druddigon: "... Wait, is that you?">

<AU!Buggy: "But you're dead!">

<Drapion: "Yeah, and I saw that Hydreigon that was with those humans come in after eating you!">

<AU!Nibbler: "... Wait, she ate an entire Typhlosion in a single sitting? I mean I know that she probably tore his body apart into pieces and all, but how'd she have room for that?">

<Drapion: "Hey, don't ask me, I just saw her come in...">

<Typhlosion: "So I heard that you all were doing alright... Or at least better than when we were last together...">

<AU!Nibbler: "... Wait, you're not surprised to see them? Did someone tell you that they were alive or something?">

<Typhlosion: "Actually, yeah... Someone did...">

-The form of a Typhlosion is approaching the dozing form of another-

<Dozing!Typhlosion: "Zzz... Oh wow... Did we really do that much damage back when we were trying to fight that pig off back at Castellia? This is going to take forever to clean up...">

-Falters for a moment-

<Typhlosion: "... M-Maybe this isn't such a good idea...">

<Formerly Dozing Typhlosion: "Zzz... Huh? Who's there? Is it one of the humans that moved ba- Oh! Um.. Hi?">

<Typhlosion: "... Uh... H-Hey...">

<Formerly Dozing Typhlosion: "Is something wrong? You suddenly got so ner- ... Wait... Big Bro? Is that you?">

<Typhlosion: "Uh... Y-Yeah, it is...">

-Embracing the other Typhlosion-

<Formerly Dozing Typhlosion: "I've missed you so much! How's life been treating you anyways? And where are we?">

<Typhlosion: "Uh... Um... I'm kinda dead... I came here from the Spirit World to try and catch up a bit before I tried to head off for the afterlife...">

<Formerly Dozing Typhlosion: "... You're DEAD? But... Oh no... That awful recruiter sent you off to some boss that used you like a tool, didn't she?">

-Starting to get nervous-

<Typhlosion: "Um... A-Actually... Y-Yeah...">

<Formerly Dozing Typhlosion: "Why are you so nervous, I mean it's not as if your boss forced you to do stuff beyond pushing around civilians, right? I mean we're all guilty of th- ... That witch stuck you with the psychopath, didn't she?">

-Hanging head-

<Typhlosion: "Y-Yeah... Sh-She did...">

<Formerly Dozing Typhlosion: "Oh... I'm so sorry to hear that...">

<Typhlosion: "Y-You don't think that I'm-?">

<Formerly Dozing Typhlosion: "I'm going to admit that I'm probably not going want to hear about the things that you've been up to... But... I don't think that I would have turned out any better were I in your place... Besides...">

-Placing paw on the other Typhlosion's shoulder-

-At this point, some of the Baltoy have led their controlled Mons toward us-

-Hex has Vanillite on his last (nonexistant) legs-

Alright Hex, finish this with Flamethrower!

-Hex shoots a stream of fire at Vanillite, K Oing it-

Samuel: -Recalls Vanillite- Go, Gabite!

Gabite: Let's do this.

Samuel: Gabite use Dragon Rush!

-The Gabite rushes foreward with immense power-

Hex, Block her with Wil-o-Wisp!

-Hex hits Gabite with a Wil-o-Wisp just before she is KO'd by the Dragon Rush-

Alright then. Go, Scar!

-The Shelgon emerges onto the field-

Scar:<This will be interesting.>

Gabite:<Yes, it will be.>

-Gabite charges forward with Dragon claw, Scar rolling forward with his Dragon Claw-

Silent v/s Madeline

Madeline — Numel! Fall back and try Ember again!

-The Pokémon tries to move back slowly from her position and after inhaling some air unleashes several small balls of fire trying to aim at the Starly above her-

Shahinne — <Eeeeep~! Too hot! Too hot!> — maneuvers around.

Numel — <Just stand quiet, silly! You can meet the ground or my flames!> — shoots again.

-examining the battle-

— Darn... can't get Shahinne close enough.

-Some of the flames hit Shahinne, and she falls to the ground-

Algira — <Oh, no! Little girl~!>

Shahinne (shakes) — <Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch!> — jumps around.

Madeline — That's it! Go with a Body Slam!

Algira — <@_@>

-The Numel charges ahead with a growl, but Shahinne manages to notice-

Shahinne — <Bad mon! Aaaaah!> — starts hopping away.

Algira — <Run Shahinne! Run~!>

-Shahinne hops away and manages to avoid the first attack, but the Numel turns around scaring her-

Shahinne — <...Daaaaaaad!>

— Shahinne, try to focus! Try to fly again!

-Shahinne manages to fly before the Numel can charge again, prompting Madeline to order a Take Down-

-Shahinne, however, seems to feel safer now that she has taken the air again and simply stares at the Numel as she prepares to jump-

Shahinne — <I don't like you! You are like Dintel!>

— ...Wait wut?

-Shahinne swirls and dives trying to reach the Numel's side, moment that I take to order her to Peck before she does. The Numel, taken by surprise, unleashes an Ember but Shahinne manages to still fly ahead and turn around the Numel to start pecking at the legs-

Numel — <...Ahhh! Ouch! Umph! F*****! Ouch! Ugh! Friggin...! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!> — starts turning around wildly — <Someone get her OFF ME!>

-Shahinne continues flying around and pecking-

Shahinne — <This is my ground! Mine!>

-After a brief exchange of cursings and pecks and a couple of growls and tackles, Shahinne flies away and lands on the ground, somewhat tired, her left wing singed. The Numel however has taken enough pecks to her head that doesn't seem to be able to see all right-

Madeline — Numel, return! — recalls the Pokémon.

-Shahinne chirps happily as she sits on the battleground-

GAG — Madeline has returned her Pokémon! Silent 1, Madeline 0!

Algira — <Well done, girl!>

— I'm ending this. Dintel, prepared...

Madeline — Roselia, go!

— Dintel!

-I recall Shahinne to her Pokéball and hand it to Algira, then unleash Dintel on the battlefield-

Roselia — <Oh... little shrew, it is a mistake for you to come here.>

Dintel (licks paws) — <Oh hai there... You're gonna meet my lil'stars!>

GAG — Round two, ready to begin!

...! AAH! GET OFF ME!

-After a while, they leave. We're left mildly battered, but it seems they've stolen our Pokeballs, among other things...-

Oww...

-Kessie goes to hide underneath Sunny-

-the storm makes it almost impossible to see where we're going-

Erma: *grinning* And with this, our victory is assured. Mens Mentis.

Arachne: *eyes glow a soft blue, a wave of energy slamming down against Lian*

Lian: *shrieks, clenching one eye* <I d-don't feel so good...>

Rex: 'Focus Rex...she's just speaking like that to throw you off...' ...Lian, remember what the Dudley Boys are famous for?

Lian: <...Hitting people with tables?>

Rex: *eye twitch*

Lian: <...Oh! Tag team!> *bursts up from under the webbing in a blur of motion, striking Arachne to the side and returning to her ball*

Pandora: *floats over from harassing the Wurmple* <Hello.> *releases a similar wave of energy with an evil grin*

Arachne: <...Arceus, help mAAGGH> *falls over unconscious*

Erma: *looks surprised* Oh dear...I didn't account for that variable. *recalls Arachne* Very well. It's your turn now, Cumula. *tosses a Quick Ball*

Cumula: *emerges with a cheer* <YaybattletimeIcan'twaitI'mgonnawinlet'sgoErma!>

Well... I still have two of my Pokémon... Unfortunatly, those two happens to be Odette and Tulip, the two Pokémon I haven't even started training yet...

-A Youngster wearing a pair of long pants wanders into the tournament area-

Pants!Youngster: -Puts his third pokeball back onto his belt and seeks out his oppenent-

Ugh...

What do we do...?

-By now the Nanab procession is gone-

... I don't know.

-the storm manages to throw Gyarados, knocking everyone off in the process-

-Sunny grabs Kessie to keep her safe, while I catch Sunny-

-the world goes topsy turvy for a bit, and a whole bunch of stuff seems to happen...-

It's rather late...

Should we try to set up camp for the night or something?

I don't think I have a sleeping bag or anything, though...
