Well, while you were doing that, I was on my way to becoming the best pickpocket/theif in Unova. I'll admit, it wasn't my first career choice, it's grown on me.

Velvet: (clears throat again) <So... You all know how it started, with Cyrus using the power of Dialga to change the timeline.> (sighs) <DS really didn't take it well. She freaked out, and then wouldn't talk for the rest of that day. At the time, we didn't understand why she suddenly freaked out like that. Ever since what happened at Sinnoh, DS had been sinking deeper, and deeper into despair due to not having been able to track down Cyrus in the few years after it happened... However, we knew there must've been another reason for DS to act like that, but we couldn't figure out why. So, while we were in Nimbasa, and still hadn't said a word, we decided to try to speaking to her about it...>

- Flashback: Nimbasa City, A Few Weeks Ago -

- DS is sitting on a bench in the amusement park, staring blankly at the ferris wheel with an unreadable expression on her face. Her Pokémon approach her -

HotStuff: <... Hey, DS?>

- DS slowly turns to face her Pokémon in a somewhat robotic manner, not saying a word, her unreadable expression not changing -

Velvet: <DS, what's wrong? We know you've been having a hard time ever since what happened back in Sinnoh, but I'm getting the feeling that there is something else bothering you.>

- I lean forward slightly, letting my hair fall down over my face, covering up my eyes -

- DS has just won the Legend Badge, HotStuff and Velvet are still outside their pokeballs, having helped DS take out "Drayden" and "Iris" Pokémon in a double battle -

- DS examines the badge for a moment, before putting it into her pocket, she begins to leave the building, only to turn around to face the two "Gym Leaders" -

... HotStuff, use Earthquake!

- HotStuff stomps on the ground, shaking the floor, the vibration startling the two Zoroark, making them revert to their true forms -

"Iris": <Gah! She saw through our disguise!>

"Drayden": <Get her!>

(smirks) I don't think so. HotStuff! Velvet!

- Velvet quickly blasts one of the Zoroark with Signal Beam, while HotStuff charges the other, slamming him against a wall -

- A dazed Chatot falls out of the "ponytail" of the Zoroark HotStuff just tackled -

Chatot: (in "Drayden"'s voice) <... And that's how Equestria was made!> (faints)

- DS manages to overpower both Zoroark and Chatot after a short battle, before trying to get some information out of them -

So... What do you think you're doing? I'm guessing you're not the only ones impersonating the Gym Leaders, am I right?

"Iris": (nods) <Y-yes... We were sent to impersonate Gym Leaders on queen Liepard's orders!>

... Queen Liepard...

- Stands there for a moment, before looking at the Zoroark again -

... Would you two happen to know anything about the disappearance of the legendary Pokémon?

"Drayden": <W-what?>

"Iris": <... We wouldn't know anything about that.>

... Oh. (sighs) Guess I should've expected as much. Come on, HotStuff. Velvet. We're leaving.

- Begins to leave -

"Iris": <You won't tell anyone about us, will you? If information gets out about us impersonating Gym Leaders, the queen will punish us!>
