HotStuff: <Well...> (stroking her "scarf") <You see... Our trainer... She... Uh... It's kind of a long story.>

Sparq: (eats some berries)

Briar Rose: (is also eating some of the berries)

Silvermist: (seems pretty content now that she has some water to swim in)

Wings: <We've been trying to find the other trainers who understand our speech for the last few weeks, at our own trainer's request.>

Velvet: (nods) <Yes. However, we haven't had much luck, partially because we had no idea where to look for them, and partially because... Well, we had to try to avoid the minions of those Pokémon ruling this world, as we did not want to get involved in the battle. We did not want anything to distract us from our search.>

Celestia: <Hmm...I see.>

Dune: <That must have been very difficult for you. The Liepard and Scolipede's minions are everywhere, nowadays. Not to mention that dreadful Emboar that's busy murdering his way around northern Unova...>

Celestia: <However, your long search may just be over. I have reason to believe that the majority of mine and your trainers friends are station at the Entralink. Or at least, they would be.>

Dune: <Our contacts there have informed us that most of them are fighting overseas to defend the other regions from Liepard and Scolipede's generals, who recently launched an all out assault on Kanto, Johto and Hoenn.>

Celestia: <I do hope they succeed in driving them back. It would be truly awful if those lands were to fall...>

-Volcarona floats on by-

Volcarona: <Hey Mom.>

Velvet: <Oh my... Well, we too will hope for their success at stopping those bad Pokémon from invading the other regions...>

HotStuff: (sighs) <And to think... Those horrible Pokémon are not even our true enemy in all this...>

-wake up and leave the room, Tweedle flying to my shoukder and Dana curled up in my arms, half asleep. I walk into the control room-

Morning, guys. Where are we?

-Magnet Train Railroad-

Roa: -swears under her breath and flattens herself to the tracks, shooting morePoison Stings down to the other side of the railroad. She motioned for the Eevees to get down as well, motioning for the oldest Eevee to join her- <Can any of you fight? At all?>

-Stops in front of the door and knocks-

-In the desert-

-Several rogue Scolemis goons are wandering, looking for kicks-

Throh: <So my buddy, he pesters that Bisharp, and BAM! Head comes right off! You shoulda seen the geyser!>

Sigilyph <Haw haw haw.>

Amoonguss: <Man, that must have been awesome.>

-Suddenly, the ground begins to shake-

Amoonguss: <W-w-what's g-g-going on!>

Sigilyph: <Haw?>

Throh: <No... It's the Desert Monster!>

-The sand bursts in front of them-

Crustle: <WHEEEEEE!>

-She grabs Sigilyph and drags him under the ground-

Throh: <We have to get out of here!>

-As they turn to leave, two mandibles burst out below Throh, pulling him under as well-

Amoonguss: <No! Don't take me too! Take those two idiots but not me! AAAAAH!>

-Crustle leaps out of the sand and lands on Amoonguss, tunneling back underground with the Amoonguss in her mouth-

Crustle: <Hee hee. That was fun~>

-She later spits the terrified trio out near Nimbasa, before patrolling underground again-

-Celestia gives Volcarona a slightly surprised look. Mainly because she never actually recalled seeing her come in. She gives her daughter a polite wave before turning her attention back to DS' team.-

Dune: <Believe me, we would love to send some forces over to those regions to aid in the fight against them. Heck, I've considered abandoning my post to go and help my family in Johto...>

-Dune shakes his head.-

Dune: <...But we can't. We have to stay here to defend our home.>

Celestia: <And I unfortunately cannot spare a single Pokémon. We just don't have the monpower to defend our home as well as the other regions. And for that, we are truly sorry.>

-Volcarona leaves to go get drunk-

HotStuff: <I see...> (sighs, while stroking her "scarf" again) <... We'd like to help too, but we have more important things to worry about... Namely, the true enemy... Cyrus.>

We're just off the coast of the Desert Resort, in Unova.

Celestia: <Ah yes...Cyrus. I believe he is the one behind all this, is he not?>

Dune: <Cyrus? Wasn't he that madman that destroyed Sinnoh?>

Celestia: <Exactly, Dune. But he is behind more than Sinnoh's destruction. He...Is the reason our world is so badly broken.>

Dune: <...>

Celestia: <You wouldn't know, though.>

Dune: <Oh. This is to do with that Alternate timeline stuff those trainers mentioned, isn't it?>

Celestia: <Yes. It is.>

HotStuff: (nods) <Yes... Cyrus is behind everything... This world, what happened to Sinnoh, the disappearence of the legendaries...> (sighs) <That is why we're trying to find the trainers, so we may defeat Cyrus, release Dialga and Celebi, restore the world to normal and get our trainer back.> (glances down at her "scarf" and DS' X-transceiver) <You see... We know where he is.>

All right, so we made it to Unova. What do we do now?

Oh, by the way, what did Ninetales find last night?

We wait for Cynthia and N to find us and report. They should be here later tonight.

She found Anom, and Star. They're around here somewhere.

Really? What were they doing in Mossdeep, do you know?

Not a clue. Ninetales said she asked and never really got an answer.

Maybe they'll say sometime today.

So anyway, Cynthia and N definitely know that we're here and not in Mossdeep? It would be really awkward if they show up and we're gone.

Celestia: <Oh...You do?>

Dune: <Ooh, very interesting.>

Celestia: <Would you care to tell us? Or would like to keep if to yourselves for now?>

Dune: <We won't pry if you feel uncomfortable.>

Steven: Yes, they know. I got Cynthia on her Xtransceiver.

Oh, good.

Dana: -yawns and looks around-

-walks into the control room-

Hi guys. -waves-

Steven: What was her name again?

Star, Steven.

Steven: Ah.

Hey, Star.

-turns around-

Star! Hi!

Dana: -hops out of my arms and runs over to her, propping herself up on her leg and looking up- <Hi! Are you Trainer's friend?>

Goldenrod MT Railroad

-The eldest Eevee looks a bit scared, but stands besides Roa nonetheless-

Eevee — <Well, I can try!> — stands to one side of the railroad and attempts a Growl at the Zebstrika.

Zebstrika (comes to a halt as her legs aer hit by the Poison Stings) — <Aaahh!> — recoils because of the Growl — <There's a pincushion here!>

-One of the Durant moves forward slowly, charging a Flash Cannon, while the Cinccino observes carefully, waiting for the Pignite and the other Durant to climb back up-

Nidoran Colony

-A Nidorino in armor, followed by a small troop and an Arbok, arrive to where Luke and the others are-

Nidorino Leader — <Wooly the Ampharos? We are ready to depart, so please follow us.> — bows to Luke — <We'll take care of her, don't worry.> — turns to Harriet — <Can you accompany us too, Harriet?>

First Nidorino — <Sorry, big bird, but Silent never brought us any tinctures for those plates...> — commands a random Yanma for leading Unite to the 'krows.

-Meanwhile, the other Nidos disappear, the teacher uselessly calling the kits several times, but they are already accommodated surrounding Cinder, some of them even sleeping by his feet-

Nidorina Teacher (sighs) — <Come on, kits, please!>

First Nidorino (to Luke) — <Well, it is a female human with blue hair... I don't have many more details except that she understands concepts of our language, so perhaps she has or had a Nido at some point...> — points to the forest — <If you accompany me, I can take you to her...>

-The rest of the Nidos have already left the place, except for the teacher who has been left with no more chance than to sit next to the sleeping kits surrounding Cinder to make them some company-

Teacher (to Cinder) — <Very sorry!> — bows.

-Meanwhile, some troops are protecting Inka's place, with Maekrite's parents pacing around nervously-
