-Roa listen attentively, nodding every once in a while. When asked to try, she stepped forward and copied Vinollo, somewhat nervously-

Harriet: -To Tracer.- <Yeah, we already know...>

-Unite smashes a rock in the background, still swearing vigorously.-

Woolly: <We...WE CAN'T LET THEM DO THIS!>

Treeo: <Of course not! We have these guys that they can't just go around invading other countries and get away with it!>

...No. They can't.

-I turn to my team.-

Guys...Do you want to do this?

Woolly: <...Yes! Of course!>

Flare: <We can't just sit here and let them kill all those Pokémon and people! We just can't!>

Wulfric: <Yes...We can't.>

Harriet: <I don't think there's going to be any objections here, Luke.>

Stratus: <We're with you all the way! All of us!>

-Everybody nods in approval.-

-Lake's Lure Ball suddenly burst open, releasing the Feraligatr. He roars in pain and clutches his chest as the pain of all the suffering people and Pokémon returns, but manages to hold together.-

Lake, no! You're not well! Get back in your ball!

Lake: <No...I need to fight...It's the only way...The pain will stop...>

-Lake takes a few deep breaths.-

Lake: <Not just for me...But for all those over there...>

...Okay. If you say so...

-To Tracer and Tagg.- Let's go.

Woodstock: <REINFORCEMENTS!>

Conrad: <'Bout time!>

Crowley: -Hears the Nidorina.- <Oh! Da' maps! OLIVER!>

Oliver: <ON IT, BOSS!>

-Crowley covers Oliver by firing a Shadow Ball at an Eelektross as Oliver drops the maps at the Nidarina's feet.-

Woodstock: <We can't hold out for much longer, boss! We need more reinforcements!>

Crowley: <Darn it! BILL!>

Bill: <Yes, boss?>

Crowley: <Get out of da' city and find someone who can help! Anyone! It doesn't matter who, just get 'dem ASAP!>

-Bill flees, the other Krows providing covering fire as he goes.-

We figure out some way to get to the mainland quickly after dealing with the Gym Leaders, and then we're taking our region back.

Muddy: <According to the others Xatu went to the resistance with some turrets, so at least they know.>

Chase: <Um... Leader, not that I am questioning your judgement, but... Why would you want to protect that horrible, horrible, Liepard?>

Goggles: <Oh, um... I just think that... Maybe she is not that bad, you know? She could just be a misunderstood Pokémon who just happened to end up with some bad luck that turned her into an evil queen and stuff...>

Chase: <...? Leader, are you okay?>

Goggles: <Listen, trust me on this. Liepard can be redeemed, we just have to... find the good in her, and she will give up on evil.>

Chase: <... If you... say so...>

Goggles: (nods) <Good! Now, go tell the others.>

Chase: <Yes, leader...> (hops off to tell the other resistance members, still somewhat confused about the whole thing)

-runs into Chase-

Chase: (notices Every) <Oh, hello there.>

Do you know if there's a way to get to Pokepan? If it's being invaded, I want to help defend it.

-confined to the room for fear of causing unneeded havoc and with several authority figures keep an eye on her, Ashes turns back to telling stories of my Pokemon journey-

Ashes: <So then Hermes swam all the way across the lake, and we were attacked by Goldeen! But we didn't have Lydia with us, so Helen was all like 'Let's get out of here!' and I was like 'Go away stupid fish!' and I beat them up! And then we swam away super fast and made it home! And then we decided Mahogany Town wasn't worth it and stayed home.>

Hermes: <You know, I distinctly remember you sitting on top of Helen the whole time scared of the Goldeen.>

Ashes: <No I wasn't! I'm not afraid on any fish!>

-Dana jumps on her head-

Dana: <Imma fish! Fish! Fish!>

-Ashes shakes her off and pounces on her playfully. Dana squeals happily and bats at her with her paws. Epona watches them carefully-

Hermes: <You be glad Lydia's not here, Dana, she'd zap a little fish like you!>

Tweedle: And Lydia is the Flaafy, correct?

Ashes: -looks up from wrestling with Dana- <Yep! She zapped Buddy and Arrow all the time when they were being really annoying!>

-smiles at them and lays back on the bunk, pulling out an old picture of a Pokemon team assembled in Ecruteak-

Chase: <Hmm... I'm not sure.>

-As Roa lifts her paw, several small Nidos appear from the trees, the rocks and the bushes.-

Maestro Vinollo — <This is called Request Owsla Assistance. Funny that the acronym is your name... heh.> — smiles — <Anyway, look! And you, Snubbull, go for cover!>

-The Nidos suddenly start spraying poison stings on the field, which as they reach the ground start turning the blades of grass into a soft purple colour and killing them; Snubbull had to run hide behind a rock to avoid being pierced to death-

-Roa learns Poison Storm!-

Vinollo — <If, on the other hand, direct combat is needed, you can just add a soft growl, and then this will happen.> — growls up — <Come!>

-Some of the Nidos suddenly leap from the trees, claws honed, and stand in a formation surrounding Vinollo and Roa-

-Roa learns Call Partner!-

Vinollo — <Now, dear, you must go, and succeed in the protection of the Colony.>

-Vinollo retreats to disappear beyond the surrounding Nidoran, and then the others bow to Roa and dart away-

-Far from there, several Nidorin@ are being assigned similar missions to fetch medics, engineers, the Nurse Joy and a couple of Magnet Train operators out of the city-

-Magneton and me make it to the third floor to go for supplies while the others check the second floor-

Venomoth — <...what happened here? All the Pokéballs are destroyed?>

-Pokéteco, remembering what he sensed in the street by the building, uses his sight beyond sight to try and detect any nearby evil-

Well, apparently there's some sort of teleportation network set up. Could that be used to get to Pokepan?

-a crew exchange later-

Commander Floatzel: <Right, then. Ship 11, circle to the hills. Ship 12, watch the marsh for any signs of activity. Ships 13, 14, and 15, target Mossdeep City proper.>

-Roa bowed, then, going over everything in her head, stored the bag in Hyperspace and started running towards the city, making use of the shadows to remain unseen-

-At the edge of the woods, she pulled out the picture and dripped her poison on it, revealing Bill. She stared at the picture until she had it memorized, then tore it to pieces and buried the scraps. Moving more cautiously now, she entered the city-

Chase: (shrugs) <Well, I don't really know how it works, but I suppose it is possible that it could get you there.>

-To Tangent-

Oh yeah, those Zoroark. They actually helped us with this bastard Zoroark and his goons that were drafting the local mons and their children to fight for Scolipede and Artemis. If we didn't need them we would've just let that mother Tyranitar kill them.

Now, if I were a space-warping tunnel, where would I be?

-Roa darts through the city, avoiding other 'mons as best she can. She looks in the window at every house, searching for Bill, and pausing every so often to use Detect to locate surrounding 'mons and avoid them, as well as making sure there's cover between her and any snipers-

Bill: <CAW!>

-Bill flies through the air, weaving and diving to avoid attacks of all types as he rushes to esacpe the pursuing Pokémon.-

Bill: <I need somewhere to hide! Um...Oh!>

-Bill spots a manhole in the middle of the road. Making sure that nobody's looking, the Murkrow flies down, opens the manhole, then climbs in and closes it again.

The Murkrow stays as quiet at he can as the pursuing Pokémon pass by, stopping briefly just above the cover.-

<"Where did he go?">

<"I could have sworn he went this way...">

<"Maybe he's hiding somewhere?">

<"Oh! Maybe he's hiding in those trash cans over there!">

<"Let's go and look! Um...You first! I insist!">

-The Pokémon move away, then Bill sighs with relief.

He then, however, notices he's not in a sewer, but a tunnel of some sort.-

Bill: <Oh! This must be a secret tunnel! Hmm...Maybe it leads out of the city?

...Only one way to find out...>

-Bill sets off down the tunnel.-

Yes, they were really awful. Just like the every other Pokémon in Scolermis' army, it seems.

Harriet: <You got that right...>

-Still looking for the tunnel-

Let's see...it would have to be pretty big, since Sunny, Shadow, that Marowak, three rocks, and myself can all fit through it...
