- The Watchog starts firing a thunder bolt attack in direction of Artemis, she manages to jump out of the way... landing closer to Watchog -
Artemis, quick! Use sand attack!
Lenora: Retaliate!
- Artemis quickly kicks some more sand onto Watchog's face, but she fails to get out of the way of Watchog's retaliate attack -
Artemis! Are you all right?
Artemis: (gets back up, moves away from Watchog) <Yeah, good thing you bought those x-defends before coming here!>
Well, let's see if we can finish this battle!

blargh, So much has happened. Jane, Frillish can be found on Route 4. And while I was also originally planning for Virizion to be female, Pentigan got there first, and male makes more sense anyway. It's based on Aramis, from The Three Musketeers, after all.
-I look at the Pokeball sitting on the cave floor. I pick it up and smile to myself, pleased that I have caught a Woobat. I leave the cave, and head to Nacrene City to meet up with the others.-

Okay, Artemis! It's time to finish this!
- Artemis begins running towards Watchog -
Lenora: Use thunderbolt!
- Watchog uses thunderbolt again, Artemis jumps into the air to dodge the attack and this time takes advantage of the jump to get close to Watchog for an attack -
Now, use thief!
- Artemis hits Watchog in the face, managing to get a critical hit -
And now, finish it off with scratch!
- Artemis scratches Watchog just before it's knocked over from the thief attack, this finally knocks out the Watchog -
... Yes! We did it! We won!
Lenora: (recalls Watchog) Yes, well done. For winning the battle, I award you with the basic badge!
- Lenora hands the basic badge over to me, I put it into my badge case -
Yay! I did it!
Lenora: Now that you have two badges, Pokémon up to level 30 will obey you, even if traded. And you also get this TM 67, it contains retaliate. I'm sure you can put it to good use!
- Lenora hands me the TM -
