Eldes: A Sandstorm, impressive feint. Ninjask, use Silver Wind again!

-Ninjask fires off another Silver Wind-

-has been watching the matches-

The dust will clear up in a minute. You'll be able to see just fine.

-chuckles-

You're still not getting it. Golem, hide in the dust.

-she all but completely disappears in the flying sand-

Now use Stone Edge. Spread it out as wide and thick as possible. Not give Ninjask any chance of dodging!

-smiling to herself, Golem starts shooting out sharp bits of rock everywhere, trying to cover as much of the arena as possible-

- Nods -

Oh, okay.

Anyway, now that our sharing minute is over, where'd this grass come from anyway?

-Ninjask tries to dodge, but gets hit by stone fragments and faints-

Eldes: Ninjask return.

-Recalls Ninjask-

Go Lapras!

-Lapras appears-

Use Surf!

-Lapras sends out a wave at Golem-

- Looking at the grass -

Hmm... Good question.

-as Ninjask faints, the dust begins to settle. Golem straightens up and looks proud of herself, then her eyes widen as Lapras's Surf crashes towards her-

Golem! MOVE!

-she tries to roll to the side but is too late, getting hit by the edge of the wave and brought to the last bit of health-

Good job. Return.

-recalls her, then tosses out a different Pokemon-

Damian!

-the Heracross appears, ready for battle-

Just like we practiced. Brick Break!

-he nods and, holding tight to his Focus Band, charges Lapras, fist glowing-

So, is there anything else you were interested in doing DS?

-Lapras loses a third of its health by being chopped-

Eldes: Hang in there. Lapras, use Psychic!

-Lapras sends out a psychic wave at Damian-

- Shrugging my shoulders slightly -

I'm not sure...

I did kind of want to see the Underground, for old times sake.

-Damian is pushed back slightly by the attack-

Again!

-he nods and charges again, trying to put more force behind his attack-

Hehe... Yeah, I guess we could do that.

Do you have your Explorer Kit on you DS?

-Lapras is brought down to the red-

Eldes: Use another Psychic, Lapras!

-Lapras fires another blast of alpha waves at Damian-

- I take my Explorer Kit out of my backpack -

-Gets out his helmet and shovel-

Let's start digging then.

-Damian is brought down to half health-

One more Damian, it's almost down!

-he nods and charges once more-

Okay then.

-Puts his shovel to the dirt and starts digging-

We shouldn't take too long to get down there.

-Lapras finally goes down-

Eldes: Lapras return. Go Flygon!

-Flygon appears-

Flygon, use Flamethrower!

-Flygon takes a deep breath and fires a blast of flames at Damian-

- Is also digging -

-Out in Sandgem Town, loitering in ZERO-ONE with Kat-

"I guess that we should start heading back."

<Vlad: "Do you feel ready, Nadia?">

<Nadia: "I do... But was that trip supposed to feel so tiring?">

<Vlad: "Relax, it was your first long-distance haul. You'll get more used to it as you do more of them and improve your technique better.">

"How's she doing Vlad?"

<Vlad: "At this point, the only thing that she could really stand to work on besides practicing a bit would be to try to fly with a rider...">

-After a noticeable pause-

<Nadia: "... I should really get the rest of my flying down before I try that...">

<Kat: "Why are you so evasive on for that last par- Oh. Right...">

-Thinking-

"She still hasn't forgiven me, has she?"

"Hmm... I guess that's fine Nadia, different Pokemon learn at different paces..."

-Starts up ZERO-ONE-

"We should get going..."

-Nadia and Vlad ascend and I follow shortly afterwards in the ZERO-ONE-

-After ten minutes of combined digging, we fall into the Underground-

Ahh!

-Falls on his butt-

Ow.

Damian, dodge it!

-he rolls out the way, breathing hard. I recall him, then consider my next move-

All right... Skywalker, see what you can do.

-I release Skywalker, who roars and starts flying up, trying to get above Flygon-

All right Skywalker, Dragon Claw!

-he nods and dives down towards Flygon, claws glowing with green flames-

Eldes: Dodge it and use Stone Edge, Flygon!

-Flygon dodges the Dragon Claw and then uses Stone Edge to fire rock shards straight up at Skywalker-
