As the human spoke, one of the Cubone who had spearheaded the defense, one of more chubby legs than the others and a double-stripe marking in the left side of his skull, tried to shake off the excess water after holding Nudi's attack. He picked his bone club and got closer to the Marowak.

— Amazing! The— the— the human? — he moved forward, dumbfounded, in between Tagg and the elders. — I can't...

He turns around only to see the Cubone among the elders step forward and gravely pound the ground with his bone, right in front of the surprised Cubone.

— ... My... my apologies — corrected the Cubone himself, as he lowered his head and stepped back slowly.

For a response, the elder Cubone merely moved slightly to the side, to let Tagg in full view of the other elders.
