“I’ll give you the go-ahead to bite me,” Colt explained as he started scratching behind Gogie’s ears.

Sunny’s hand extended from the backpack, her trainer’s phone in her hand. She was recording the interaction, silently d’awwing after Colt started scratching under his chin.

Eventually he’d use both hands to tousle the fur on Gogie’s neck. “Now,” he’d say, having noticed Sunny psychically bunched up his jacket sleeves.

9-Volt was honey’d. “Ew ew ew!” He complained as he tried to use Category 5, only to have trouble even moving. He did eventually fire, but wished for the mercy of a shower.

It might have been Sunny’s Psychic typing talking, but she felt it vicariously. Colt, thankful for technically being dark-type enough to resist the attack - or maybe that was his acquired durability - bit his tongue and let the pain die down.

It faded within a few seconds, probably thanks to Sunny’s Wish.

Fur started growing out of the wound, slowly spreading out. His body slowly distorted to match the musculature of a Dusk Lycanroc, his face in particular extending into a muzzle with a sickening crunch noise.

As it finished, Talbain howled to the night sky.

Sunny cut off the video.

And then he laughed. He just laughed and laughed at Sunny’s grimace. <Have you forgotten my illusion powahz?> He asked, his laughter slowly faltering at Sunny’s disapproving gaze.

<Thanks, bro,> Talbain chimed, going so far as to try to hug Gogie.

<Wait, I can’t use Crunch anymore. Crap!> He realized.

“Sorry, Gogie, I was just really excited. Won’t be needing this,” he observed as he drew the Blue Scarf.

Sunny made it vanish.

“Honey?” A lady asked as she approached some coathooks beside the front door. “When did we get a blue scarf?”

“I don’t know,” her husband observed. “But at least we can save a little money on heating - hm?” He paused upon feeling some paper.

Inside Silas steps into his workshop and looks at the fabrication bench, there printed out of various metals and plastics is a arm hooked to a harness, "Bishop?"

Bishop steps over in his PRB, "Yes Captain?"

"Did you get everything wired up?"

"Of course Captain, the arm however won't be totally one to one and at best you'll feel heat and pressure."

Silas nods as he takes off his shirt and proceeds to hook the harness on, a clamp on it gripping onto the back of his neck, "Okay... time to test this thing out..."

Silas pulled his shirt back on and waved the arm about, it responded to his thoughts, that was good, though it didn't feel like anything, "This'll do until I can design something more permanent."

Maybe but like we might need to keep something in reserve to knock the final boss down easily or stop Channah being possessed...
