-She takes a couple of steps before being interrupted by a hand grabbing her arm.-

-Shard turns around slowly, glaring down at Lucius so that he can see his terrified reflection in her lenses.-

Lucius: ...You took a prisoner during the raid.

Shard: And?

Lucius: His name is Liam. He's my brother, he's not even a part of the J-Team, he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. You have to let him go.

-Shard continues to glare.-

Lucius: Please. I know you've got every reason to hate me, but he's innocent. He doesn't deserve to get caught up in this. If there's any shred of decency behind that mask, open up his cell and let him-

-Shard holds up her hand, and suddenly Lucius's throat constricts.-

-She gives a wave, and Lucius goes flying into the wall.-

Shard: Had heard of you, Cain. There were rumours of your death. Assumed they were exaggerated. Was clearly mistaken.

-Lucius starts to stagger to his feet as Shard strides towards him.-

-She raises her hand again, and Lucius gasps in shock and pain as purple hoarfrost starts to engulf his right arm, pinning it to the wall.-

Colt continued to tug against his restraints in a desperate bid to reclaim his precious jacket, only to lose blood to his hands faster.

“Yah!” He howled in pain as he felt his hands fall asleep. Someone may have heard him. But he didn’t have much faith in that, so he slammed his head against whatever was behind him; what he was bound to.

During the wait, the grunt guarding Colt attempted to stop Channah’s Razor Wind, but he started a little too late, and didn’t notice his hostage, sweeping his feet from under him, ramming his knee into his vulnerable spine and backflipping to make him land face first, unconscious.

His jacket drifted from the ceiling and landed in his upturned palm. The packing peanuts and Pokémon he had with him landed behind him.

“I owe you,” he promised Channah as he then grabbed his laptop bag, phone and other amenities. The Blue Scarf finally landed around his neck. <Now why don’t we show these rustbuckets why it was a bad idea to ever pick a fight with us?!>

His team cheered behind him.

Air Raid: <Of course. Quickly, before the guard notices.>

-Air Raid gestures for Gabe to come closer.-

-Instead, Calliope darts around and circles Sadie, while Viper fires a String Shot at Sadie's legs. With his momentum, Calliope skids around to wrap the silk around Sadie.-

Rose: ...Fuck. I know what you're doing here. Nora, Magnet Rise!

Nora: <Goooooing up!>

-Her tail sparkles with electricity, and she rises up in the air away from the ground.-

Rose: Sadie, just... hold in there a second.

Sadie: <You got it.>

-She stands her ground as the String Shot wraps around her.-

Scarlette: Now, unbalance her.

Calliope: <Let's see how well you stand after this!>

-Calliope approaches low from Sadie's side, and fires a Battery-boosted Hydro Pump upward at her stomach. The vertical force throws off Sadie's rooted position and topples her.-

Sadie: <Oof!>

Rose: Turn it into an Earthquake!

Scarlette: Pick him up, Viper!

-Sadie puts all her weight into collapsing into the ground, sending shockwaves through the area. The whole building creaks.-

-However, it doesn't hit the intended mark. With some quick acting, Viper has managed to suspend Calliope above the ground with a String Shot to the ceiling.-

-Rose swears under her breath.-

-Lyra and Nagandel both stop.-

Lyra: <Your girl's at the end of that hall.>

-She tosses Shaun her shotgun.-

Lyra: <Have fun.>

-Shaun, Beowulf, and Tsunami run to the end of the hall while Lyra looks around.-

-The lights short-circuit as Nora channels a Thunder down through the String Shot. The two are thoroughly fried, dropping to the ground as Sadie kicks off the silk that tied her a moment before.-

Viper: <Owie...>

Scarlette: ...Well? Don't just sit there, finish Sadie off!

-Calliope rights himself and turns around, looking at Sadie as she tries to pick herself back up.-

Calliope: <Sorry, you're staying down!>

-He fires another boosted Hydro Pump at Sadie, who topples back over as she's blasted with water.-

Sadie fainted!

Rose: Damn... gotta get Viper off his back before anything else. Domino, you're up.

-She sends out the Shiny Fearow.-

Rose: Yeah. Gave up hope.

Domino: <I'm sorry.>

Rose: Yeah. Me too, buddy. I'm sorry too.

-Scarlette scowls.-

-Domino flaps over to the stationary duo, and starts relentlessly pecking. Viper squeaks and tries to brace herself with Iron Defense, but Domino's jabbing proves too brutal.-

Viper fainted!

Calliope: <H-hey!>

Rose: All right, Nora, your turn, finish him off.

Nora: <Before I do this, I just want you to know, the spinny thing you did earlier was super cool.>

-She grins, and drops another Thunder on Calliope before he can move.-
