Finnegan pulls out a hip flask with "HOLY WATER" written on it from his left pocket.

Finnegan: I always make sure to carry a bottle of the finest life givin' water the country has to offer~

Finnegan then looks over to Jean.

Finnegan: And if I'm comin' across as too friendly, it's just because I wanna give off a good first impression! Is all~

How did he hear that?

PEFE!Every: Fuck...off.

???: -in Gudrunn's voice- Hey now! What sort of coward runs away like that!

-and Ever and Brie arrive on the scene-

PEFE!Every: Oh, hey.

Ever: (dryly) Taking PEFE!Every on a trip? How possessive of you.

Brie: How long have you been waiting to say that?

Ever: Honestly since before I met Gudrunn. (to Gudrunn) 'Sup?

-Brie, meanwhile, gets herself ready for an attack-

...I'd forgotten about him being involved, should've had our meeting somewhere other than our mobile base. At least it wasn't our actual base. I should signal to the others to stick to a "need to know" basis with this guy, but how?

Muddy: <Could just have one of us do it?>

And have him note all these folks whipping around to a mon talking? Too risky.

Volpe's not coming? That's a shame.

-Dave takes the flask and chugs it-

-The Obscuraport is canceled out midway. Gudrunn snarls, still clutching PEFE!Every-

Gudrunn Alter:    Resisting, are you? I'll take you as well!   

-Obscura globs erupt from the ground and attempt to engulf Ever and Brie-

-Meanwhile several Rabbids - Hoppers, Ziggies, and Smashers - erupt from cover, as do a certain Trevenant and Glalie-

"Of course it wouldn't be Gudrunn, ya idiots!" Smartass spat. "She's over in Unova!"

"You never know what she's planning - everywhere but Unova and Hoenn could be rapture right now," Strategist observed.

"He's got a point; we were stupid enough to think she's here of all places," Talbain piped up.

"We screwed up, okay? This isn't worth it," Otaku decided.

Everyone else had to agree with him.

Outside Colt's Head

Colt's hand became rigid and was raised above his head before he paused and lowered it. "Where did you last see them?" He decided to ask. "and where do you think they might be now?"

Finnegan looks over to Tagg with a definitely smug◊ look.

Finnegan: Ah! So you must be that head honcho that I've been hearin' about! Well, it's a pleasure to meet ya' finally-

As he was addressing Tagg, Dave rips the flask out of Finnegan's hand.

Finnegan: Nyaahh?!

Finnegan looks distraught as Dave chugs down one of his finest whiskeys without a hitch, mentally screaming AT LEAST SAVOR IT, ASSHOLE!

Jimmy and Dean are sitting there, and from the look on his face, Jimmy doesn't seem to trust Finnegan.

He'd still work with the man, but there was worry in his eyes.

Channah: Tsss.

-Legault and Nino look more perplexed than anything, although Legault is keeping his distance from everyone, Finnegan especially, and Nino raises her eyebrows-

Finnegan regains his composure after Dave's stunt and brings out some Pokeballs from his belt.

Finnegan: Anyway, should I introduce ya' to the rest of my team? Since we're gonna be workin' together, I feel it'd be best to get acquainted with everyone under my belt.

Finnegan smiles at his lame pun.

Hae-Won: "I will take that!"

Akravator is not sure how to react to the liquor thing before, but just starts openly laughing after a bit.

Shaun: "...that should be everyone."

"And, like, whatever you want dude."

-Achille eyes Finnegan subtly. A mind brushes against Tagg's, Beowulf glancing at him as it does.-

Ever: Ghosts. Really.

-as the obscura blobs wrap around Ever, obscura sprays out of him, dispelling them-

Drift: -emerges from Ever's body, making an angry teakettle whistle- <Frillish!>

Ever: Your whole shtick is so insulting, honestly. You don't get possessed for power, you do it for fun!

Brie: Is this the time for a philosophical debate? Also, that's really concerning.

-Ever glances at where Brie is currently up to her neck in obscura-

Ever: Uh, whoops. Merle, help her out.

-Merle dives at the obscura engulfing Brie, using Foul Play to help Brie get an arm free-

PEFE!Every: She's...quite powerful. We should escape.

Brie: We have to deal with these troops, first! Merle, find cover! Ramphyros, Boomburst!

Ramphyros:<Heads up!>

Merle: <I'll be keeping my head down, thanks.>

-Merle dives into the remaining obscura wrapped around Brie as Ramphyros lets out a deafening cry-

Anna: "A pleasure to meet you. I am Anna Macraul, wife of Paul Macraul. This way, please."

Finnegan: A'ight then!

Finnegan tosses out five Pokeballs, releasing a Volcarona, Escavalier, Leavanny, Scizor and Venomoth.

Finnegan: Let me introduce ya' too them in order~

Finnegan first gestures to the Volcarona.

Finnegan: This 'ere's Fionn, he's the powerhouse of me' team and all that. Generally a bit distant but opens up to ya' over time. And by the way, this is why y'all should refer to me as just "Finnegan" instead of "Finn", prevents any mix-ups.

The Volcarona does nothing but glare intensely at the group. Finnegan the gestures to the Escavalier.

Finnegan: This is Connla. One of the younger members of my team and a genuinely sweet 'mon. But he's still quite a hard-hitter.

Connla: -Genuinely- <Pleased to meet your acquaintance~!>

Finnegan goes over and rubs his Leavanny's head.

Finnegan: This lovely lady 'ere is Gráinne. She's a bubbly one alright, but she can be feisty if she needs to be.

Gráinne raises her arm blades to her face and starts giggling, a Cheshire Cat Grin spread across her face.

Finnegan: -Gesturing to the scarred Scizor- That's Cormac. He's a tough and somewhat savage bug, always thirsty for a good fight. But 'e's insanely loyal, a good thing to have~

The Scizor grumbles and growls, gesturing with it's claws but not saying anything. The last mon, the Venomoth, flies over to Finnegan's shoulder and nuzzles Finnegan's left cheek.

Finnegan: And this is Tlachtga. An absolute sweetheart of a Venomoth, and one of my oldest companions~ Though...

He gestures back to Shedinja floating over his right shoulder.

Finnegan: I've had Cathbad 'ere for the longest. Ever since I was a tyke, he is my most loyal and trustworthy companion of the lot.

Cathbad: <...>

All of the mons + Finnegan take a bow.

Finnegan: It's a pleasure to finally meet'cha all~

-To Beowulf-

If it were up to me I'd have him blasted out of the Stormchaser's cannons, but my hands are tied and so despite the fact that I trust him about as much as my Togetic could throw him, he hasn't done anything yet and so he has to stay. We cannot risk antagonizing Interpol despite this guy's obvious shadiness.

-Crossing arms-

-Beowulf mentally sighs.-

~Fair enough. Just know I won't hesitate to take care of him if he threatens or attacks one of us.~

-The blade is flipped in the air and dissipates.-

Shaun: "Um, nice to meet you?"

Finnegan stands back up straight, his unreadable expression returning to his face.

Finnegan: Honestly, the group leader knows I'm an Anti-Auric specialist and yet he holds mind conversations with others anyway? Tch, that takes a lot of godsdamned gall.

He gives a welcoming smile.

Finnegan: Again, I look forward to workin' with ya'~

Hae-Won nods, not picking up on some of the others unsureness.

Hae-Won: "Nice to meet you too. Hopefully this'll be turn out well."

-Anna leads Marco through a door leading from the casino to another part of the manor at 151 Rue Macraul-

-The hallway is dark; even were it not night, the windows are all shuttered. The chandeliers lighting the space are intentonally dim, presumably to avoid damaging the paintings that line the walls like bathroom tiles-

-Marco probably isn't read up enough on fine art to recognize most of the styles, but they definitely carry a fancy vib- wait, is that the Mona Lisa up by the ceiling? No, no, must be the low light playing tricks...-

-A few sculptures are strewn about the hallway like moving boxes, requiring the tour party to step around them in order to reach the elevator doors at the other end of the hall-

Channah: -rolls her eyes-

-Nino looks with trepidation to Legault, who just stands there as relaxed as can be and stays silent-

-The Rabbids are cleared out-

-In a last-ditch effort Rabbid Kong chains a Howl into another Earthquake-

Dave: -wipes his mouth and hands the flask back- Thanks, I needed that.

Mia: <Dave likes his alchohol.> -stares at various members of Finnegan's team-

Larry: <Ooh, oooh, more bugs!>

Jean: -lying through her teeth but not showing it- Nice to meet you all.

-beat- Er... Should we get going?

-The Rabbids close in and start firing, while Gudrunn shoots glitchy Obscura spears Gate Of Babylon style at Ramphyros and Drift-

-The Boomburst knocks Gudrunn and a few of the Rabbids back, but Gudrunn maintains her grip on PEFE!Every and Dryad the Trevenant is unnafected, attacking Drift with a Shadow Claw while Solonn the Glalie attacks Ramphyros and Merle with Ice Beams-

Mul: <Do... do we have a plan to avoid those howls?>
