-Something on Banquo's person rings-

Jared: There's an ice cream place over there!

Jackie: -to Spathi and Nix- <I know.> -_-

Svin: <Preach about our lord and savior Tremendous Thwap?>

Mul: <I'm sorry, who?>

Svin: <Tremendous Thwap! He's tremendous!>

-Mul sighs-

Banquo answers the person via Hasslemon interpreter.

slainScholar: Hey there.

Jay is here, looking for something in binoculars.

Beside her are two figures wearing full body uniforms made to imitate Hunter Delta's in the hopes of getting mistaken for him.

One of these figures is a Conkeldurr but it is unsure how obvious this is.

Jay, giving a scan over her group, listens.

Jay: "Okay... if you did this right, Stylus, the car should break down about..."

-Ever gives Waspinator a thumbs-up, and takes the offered hand-

Ever: Ever. Why've you got a sword?

"Cuz it's my sword. I own it. It's a fashion statement. o3o"

Waspinator meanwhile tilts his head at Brushfire.

Ever: One of those answers was an answer, sure. Do you often find yourself in need of it?

Brushfire: -waves to Waspinator- <Heya! I'm Brushfire.>

Stylus lets out a huff, he knows what he's doing, though part of him worries that he's helping in this at all.

"Nah, it's completely useless."

She draws it, revealing that the blade was snapped off at the hilt, leaving only a little piece behind.

"Looks super cool though."

Waspinator waves one of his drill thingies at the 'Phox.

<Greetings. Waspinator has never seen your kind before.>

-Ever raises his eyebrows-

Ever: Fashion statement indeed, then. Shame. I suppose you could always stab someone with the broken bit, but...

Brushfire: <I'm a Delphox. Haven't you ever seen a Delphox?>

~Ever, the Beedrill hasn't seen a Delphox.~

What have I told you about frivolous telepathy?

~Why would I remember that?~

"Anyways..." she sheaths the sword.

"I'm looking for the J-team." She says, bluntly.

<Waspinator has not yet had the pleasure to examine your kind's schematics.>

Ever: Oh yeah? Given the show, I can't imagine they'd be too hard to find. You need something from them?

Brushfire: <Oh, don't worry! I know about those!>

-before Ever can find an excuse to stop her, she projects a mental impression of the biology and chemistry of Delphox to Waspinator-

"I need their help to find somebody."

<WAAAAAAGH!>

Waspinator drops to the ground and starts writhing as images flash in his mind.

<WAGH WAGH WAGH WAGH WAGH!>

Ever: That seems a little—

-Waspinator-

Ever: ...Brushfire, did you do that?

Brushfire: -looks sheepish, impressive as she's a fox-

Ever: Please apologize.

Brushfire: <Uh, sorry. Do you understand now, though?>

-Ever sighs, and turns back to Lita-

Ever: As I was saying, it seems a little excessive. The J-team always struck me as a solver of the big things, you know?

Who is it you're looking to find?

"...I'd rather tell that to someone who can actually help me."

She picks up Waspinator and slings him on her shoulder.

<Eeuugh, Waspinator accepts your apology. Is thankful for the info dump.>

Ever: I mean, if you're looking for someone, it's not implausible I could help you. I'm rather good at that sort of thing.

Brushfire: <Glad I could help!>

Lita's eyes narrow.

"Ok, what's up with you. Psychic? Auric? Some other kind of weirdo?"

As the de Nile limousine draws closer to Camphrier Town, the engine begins making some strange sputtering noises. Pakhet is spooked by the sudden noise, and spills her current drink of a lager.

Pakhet: <GAH!> -Looks at her now spilled cup with a heartbroken sadness- <Press F to Pay Respects.....>

Montu looks down solemnly.

Montu: <F...>

Cleo: Huh? -Pressing a button and talking into a speaker- Henri, what's going on?

Henri: -From the speaker- The engine was checked before we left and showed no signs of wear, I'm not sure what is going on.

Henri pulls the limousine over and stops the car.

Henri: I'll go and check the engine. If you wish you could step outside for a stretch and some fresh air, Mademoiselle de Nile.

The speaker shuts off as Henri opens the door and heads over towards the engine. Cleo sighs and sinks back down into her seat.

Cleo: Fuckin' A... Of course this shit would start happening the moment I got home. Heck, I'm not even home yet!

Ever: Pssht. Do I give off a vibe of somebody who would ask questions if they could read your mind instead? Only Psychic here is Brushfire.

...Well, I guess you could be psychic, but I don't get the impression.

-he smiles-

I'm just offering to help. If you're not interested, I don't have to.

Brushfire: -whistles-

-how?-

-anyway-

Guess she saw me before I recalled them...

Marco: "I guess that makes sense." He awkwardly clears his throat.

"So, uh, the out-of-town offer?"

EMPEROR: "OH! That makes sense!"

Daydre starts shooting at Rabbid Kong's arm in an attempt to deter him from grabbing Pippy. Tabitha and Rabbid!Daydre work on trying to thin out the other Rabbids.

Azure stays in back and shoots heals at people. He looks kinda bored, but hey at least he's not on the front lines.

She crosses her arms and gives Ever a once over.

"What's the price? And how exactly can you help me?"

Jay meanwhile, gestures to the group as she hands something to the Conkeldurr-wearing-a-Grunt-uniform.

Jay: "Nice."

"Okay, Geoffrey, you distract the chauffeur but help if needed."

The man in the grunt uniform nods, Henri might be set upon him soon as he's going to check the engine.

Jay looks at Stylus.

Jay: "Join Herbert and help get our target, that weird-looking Blaziken."

As Jay says this, Herbert presses a button, activiating the Aura/Psychic Jammer and starts heading down to the limo, ready to attack or return fire.

Gallade: <F...>

Pimpernel simply shakes his head.

Then, Gallade feels weird in a way Pakhet would likely start feeling soon too.

Gallade: <...Wait, who turned off the Psychic stuff?...>

Ever: ...Do you expect me to ask for your firstborn or something? I'm just bored, and I'd like to help out if I can. I've got a pair of bird detectives on my team, which I recognize sounds ridiculous and frankly is but they're good at what they do, and my cousin has a really good teleporter, so I could ask her about getting between regions if it comes down to that.

Brushfire: <Plus, you have me!>

-she sparkles with flames-

Ever: ...Please don't do that while we're in a dry city.

Pakhet: <Huh?>

Pakhet's ears begin twitching, as she feels the same way as Charles.

Pakhet: <M-my Psychicness! Ruined! Turned Off!>

She dramatically falls onto Montu's lap

Pakhet: <H-how am I going to send you memes, Monty!?>

Montu scratches his chin pensively.

Montu: <Something amiss and afoul is going on here...>

Cleo just buries her face in her palms at the three amigos antics.

Outside, Henri begins to check on the engine as he is approached by the man in the grunt uniform.

Henri: -Turning around- Ah... Hello, sir.

Henri examines the grunt suspiciously.

Henri: May I... help you with something?

Lita thinks for a bit.

"If I give you a name, will you pass it on to your friends?"

-Ever makes a wry face-

Ever: I don't have an awful lot of friends, but I promise I'll spread the info around as much as I can.

Brushfire: <We could make pamphlets.>
