Etran holds out the second Pokeball. "Let's go outside. The other guy's a bit big for this place."
Etran and his parents went outside. Etran threw the other Pokeball, and out came Asfaloth, a Mudsdale.
"Grandpa gave me Asfaloth," Etran explained. "Roheryn's foal, actually."
<A great honor, my friends> Asfaloth said as he bowed his head.
"Also, before I left, Grandpa challenged me to a battle!" Etran excitedly said.
"Oh! I don't think he's battled in ten years," Mr Gentry said. "How'd that go?"
"His Houndoom wiped the floor with Malice," Etran said. "He's still got it."
Etran's parents both laughed. Then his mother spoke. "So you're doing good?"
"Yeah, I am. Met quite few interesting people when I was in Sinnoh and Alola. Anyway, I'm gonna stock up on gear at the Pokemart."
"For what?" Mr. Gentry said.
"Never did get those last two badges in Hoenn," Etran answered.
"So you're leaving again?" Mrs. Gentry asked.
"Yeah," Etran answered. "When I'm done with those, I'll come back and stay for a while."
Mr. Gentry looked at his son. "You're definitely different than when you left. No stutter for one. And it seems you're much more talkative than when you were a kid."
