By now most preparations were complete, somehow they had placed a proper table with food items on the ground - even with chairs and everything.

Echo: Quite the loaded couple of questions you're hitting me with, huh? Let's see... well, I'm sure you've heard all about my bout with destructive nihilism, but after that, most of my time has been spent jumping from library to library, reading whatever strikes my fancy in order to pass the time. I love to read, and I love to learn.

-Creepfrog... just sorta stares blankly.-

Creepfrog: <You can what now.>

-He taps on the big boulder, making sure it's not like, styrofoam or anything like that.-

Creepfrog: <You can lift this thing? Is there, like, some sort of super Aura-powered strength thing you do? Or are you just messing with me?>

-He backs away from the rock-

Creepfrog: <Either way, you gotta prove it.>

Phaz made a dash for the entrance, lighting up the laser sword and releasing Embry for help.

Phaz: "To the inside of the beast!"

Phaz hugs Sergey from behind.

Phaz: "So~... Do we start if officially~? The party, that is~"

Sergey's Camp

Sergey held Pahz' arms, snuggling him like this

Sergey: "Well Mireille and Magnus started it already anyway so I dno't see why not, Darling~"

Farkas:<Mmm.>

-The group stumbles across a large circular room. The way forward is blocked by a gate. The room itself is filled with urns, old cloth, burned books, etc., while a small alclove sits on the left.-

Farkas: <Of course. Look for a way to open the gate.>

-Farkas goes over to the gate itself and looks at it.-

Phaz: "Hihi~ True enough~"

He snuggles back and hugs him close.

"Let's dance now, okay~?"

Salvation Grand Articuno

Talbain landed on the beast's back before entering through the hatch, landing on lithe paws and growling.

In preparation for whoever would attack them, he summoned some spires before shattering them into dust. <Show yourself, Iceblight!> He announced in a valiant done, even if he himself was shaking in his nonexistent boots.

-A white-haired young man in a familiar tactitian coat, with three pairs of glowing red eyes and three pairs of obsidian black wings, emerges from the cookie portal-

Alyesha meanwhile was swinging her handheld flashlight around in search of something interesting, which after a while both Sora's scan and Alyesha's eyes would find

He begins to take Sergey in a waltz-styled pose.

-Not ominously but just in general-

-She is debating setting something on fire but that's business as usual-

???: <Please don't set anything on fire, this is a very important forest.>

-A completely innocuous Pidgey is perched on a branch nearby, looking at Ammy.-

Human!Ammy: Oh, hi! No, I won't!

-She waves. The Pidgey chuckles.-

Pidgey: <Oh, good.>

-He looks left, then right, then transforms into a much bigger, more majestic form.-

Pidgey Ho-oh: <Anyway, I've been meaning to talk to you for... quite a long time, Amaterasu. You made quite a name for yourself centuries ago in Ransei, did you not?>

Human!Ammy: Sure did!

-her expression falls-

And... That's why I'm here...

Ho-oh: <Oh? I imagined it was, but if there's a problem you want to discuss pertaining to your journeys there, please. I'm all ears.>

Human!Ammy: It's... About your mom.

-Ho-oh blinks. He clearly wasn't expecting this to be the first point she wanted to talk about, and it takes a moment for him to compose himself for it.-

Ho-oh: <...I suppose that's a reasonable subject, considering the time. Do tell?>

Human!Ammy: You... Need to know how she died. She fought a powerful monster alongside me and my party, and... She sacrificed herself to save us from it.

Ho-oh: <I... see. It has been an awfully long time since I've had her in my thoughts — she is bound to reappear somewhere on the cycle of reincarnation eventually — but it is still appreciated.>

???: <Oh my gosh dad, is she the one you were talking about?>

-Another, much smaller Ho-oh lands on a branch extremely close to Ammy-

Nix: <I thought she was supposed to be a white Arcanine! Or a Volcarona, you were super weird talking about her.>

Human!Ammy: -pets Nix- I could be a Volcarona for you! Not a white Arcanine, I can't do that anymore... You probably could, though!

Ho-oh: <Oh, but you can. You didn't think that was gone forever, did you?>

Human!Ammy: ...Wait, what.

-Ho-oh chuckles. In a flash, he is a white Arcanine not unlike Shiranui and Ammy's own forms.-

Arcanine!Ho-oh: <My mother's power still flows through you, even now that she's gone and you've returned to your old form. Godly power never fully goes away, after all — look how Mew and all those who have been transformed into fellow Mew by her turned out.>

-He circles behind her. When he re-enters her field of vision, he has taken the form of a human man, looking roughly like he's in his mid-fifties despite being centuries old.-

Human!Ho-oh: Even if you haven't realized it yet, you're still a demigoddess. And you still have a few of our generations-old abilities deep down, including our transformation abilities. You simply have to realize them.

-He returns to where he was, and goes back to his great shining bird form.-

Ho-oh: <And I can help you do so, Amaterasu.>

Nix: <...Dad, not gonna lie, even if that was really cool, the whole walking-around-her thing was super overly-dramatic and cliche.>

-Ho-oh grins a bird grin.-

Ho-oh: <You're not the only one who's allowed to have some fun from time to time, Nix.>

-Ammy chuckles-

Human!Ammy: So, uh... How do I pull that off?

Ho-oh: <Well, first you're going to want to take that armband of yours off. We don't want the magic getting in the way, do we?>

Human!Ammy: ...

-takes it off-

<Now what?>

Ho-oh: <Now, just close your eyes and focus. I'll nudge the transformation along the first time, but after that, you'll be familiar enough with it to do it on your own. Simply close your eyes, take a deep breath, and focus on becoming the Arcanine you were centuries ago.>

-Ammy takes a deep breath as best she can with spiracles and thinks of frisbees. Ho-oh likewise takes a breath, and flaps his wings. Ammy is wrapped in fire burning every color of the rainbow... and emerges as an Arcanine, with red marks along her back for those able to see them.-

-Ammy opens her eyes-

Arcanine!Ammy: <Hey, it worked! Say, I've got an idea...>

-Starts thinking human-y thoughts. Ho-oh simply smiles, and watches as the flames circle her again and turn her into a human, without any assistance from him.-

Ho-oh: <I can see you're getting the hang of it already.>

Nix: <Ooh, ooh, turn into a Flygon! That would be super rad!>

Ho-oh: <I'm afraid, with her inexperience, she can only switch between familiar forms. Any others would require an external force.>

Nix: <Awww.>

Human!Ammy: Good enough for me!

-She starts rapidly shifting back and forth between Volcarona, human, and Arcanine, stopping on the third-

<Come on, Nix, try it!>

-Nix beams, and looks at her dad.-

Nix: <Oh my gosh, can I? Please?>

-Ho-oh laughs-

Ho-oh: Sure, let me just unlock them for you.

-Nix straightens up, and closes her eyes. Ho-oh flaps his wings again, and flames circle her, before a white Growlithe emerges.-

Growlithe!Nix: -yips- <Whoo! It worked! Ooh, ooh, human next, human next!>

Ho-oh: <I suppose masquerading as a human is the new trend with Legendary Pokemon nowadays, isn't it? I can allow it.>

-Nix wags her tail, and sits. The flames engulf her again, and suddenly a girl — one who looks more or less 15 years old — is sitting on the ground where the Growlithe once was.-

Human!Nix: Oooo— ack!

-She coughs a bit, not used to the human vocal cords.-

Ho-oh: Careful, you wouldn't want to blow your voice out your very first time.

Human!Nix: Ahem, right... aaaaaaaaaa...

-She coughs again, before shaking her head and going back to puppy form.-

Growlithe!Nix: <I'll try that more later, it hurt to talk. But thank you!>

-She beams at her dad, then at Ammy-

Growlithe!Nix: <Good luck with dog stuff!>

-Ammy yips happily, then turns back into a human-

Human!Ammy: -holding up the armband- This was from my parents... I guess I can pass it on to someone else now...

Ho-oh: <Ah, yes... pass it on wisely, in that case. Perhaps to someone who understands the sentimental value.>

Human!Ammy: -nods- I will.

-looks around-

I should go... Umbra's probably wondering where I am...

-Ho-oh smiles-

Ho-oh: <Wouldn't want to keep him waiting. It was a pleasure meeting you, Amaterasu.>

Growlithe!Nix: -yips- <Hope we get to see you again sometime!>

-Ammy waves and heads off-

-On a pathway to the Tin Tower, she meets Umbra-

Umbra: Ammy! There you are!

-notices her actually holding her armband-

...Wait, how...

Human!Ammy: -grins- You'll never guess.

-She immediately shifts to Arcanine-

Umbra: ...

-He faints on the spot-

Sergey tried his best, continuing his somewhat clumsy dance with Phaz, meanwhile Aicha gave a thumbs up above them, moving her second mouth in front of herself, showing that it was currently holding a mistletoe as Aicha grinned wildly

Phaz does the same and smiles happily at Sergey just as Cynthia grins and rubs her hands together.

As Sergey continued his dance Aicha waited for the two to be exactly under the branch she was currently on, now hanging down from it, her second mouth - and with that the mistletoe - being only centimeters above their heads
