-They enter the lobby. Shaun's clad in a fine black suit (complete with tailcoat!) and top hat◊. Sleek and stylish. Jessica's a bit more...festive. She is clad in a red-and-white dress with black boots◊, her poufy red hair spilling out of the hood.-

Jessica: -Waves at Dune, Deziree, Ludmilla, and Selene-

Shaun: -Manages a polite nod-

Palkia the party hasn't even started yet and I already want to hide in a corner.

"Dang that sure is totally poggers my good bitch"

-Ever and Muninn stare at each other-

-Ever goes for the phone. Muninn bats at his hand-

Ever: Ow! Fuck, that actually hurts now.

Muninn: <That's what you get for training me!>

Ever: Muninn, I want you to understand something, which is that I am pretty certain I know how to kill you. Like, if this is your big betrayal moment, fine, but I want you to really think it through before you commit.

Rotary: <But in addition, Psyche wants to know if you'll be her plus one to the Christmas party.>

Rotary: <Tuft's not out right now, there's nobody to text back on your behalf. If you want to go with her, now's your chance.>

Cytosol: <You know, even if something is wrong with Jacob, he asked for help and you gave him that. Nobody had any way to know what would occur.>

PEFE!Every: I don't know. Thinking about it now, it seems like it was pretty obvious.

-she curls up more-

PEFE!Every: Seems like the frequency of my errors has gone up since I started spending time with the J-team.

Cytosol: <Well, if it helps, I doubt that's true. I think you're just being exposed to the consequences of your actions more frequently.>

-there's silence, as Cytosol and Rotary confer-

Cytosol: <...Well, Jacob will most likely also be at the party. At the very least, you can make sure he's still functioning.>

Rotary: <You could sound a little more like you're happy to see her.>

PEFE!Every: Don't know how.

-they take the phone, and Cytosol forms a couple awkward pseudopods-

Cytosol: <You probably have clothes that will work.>

Scuttle: <Wait, Cytosol, what do you know about parties?>

Cytosol: <Only the information I prise out of the minds of everyone I talk to.>

-PEFE!Every sighs-

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

Celadon, Clavis Main Estate, Closer to 5pm

-At cars and limousines are arriving delivering some of the guests. Golf carts are shuttling guests who arrived on foot or via Pokemon. Guests are require to surrender the envelopes of the invitations to gain entrance to the grounds.-

-Once through the gate, all can the main drive has been decorated with posts adorned with evergreen boughs and shiny baubles. All of Clara's Aurorus have been brought in and and currently using their abilities and moves to cover the main drive area in a thin layer of snow which is reflecting the setting sun.-

-At the main entrance to the rather large mansion, there are several employees acting as valets for parking and security who are checking invitations the guest list.-

-While Pokemon are allowed to join their trainers/ owners/ partners - certain Pokemon species are barred from entering the house during the party.-

-The mon not allowed in to the house are taken to the conservatory and gardens area where they will be fed and looked after and are free to roam the gardens - provided they don't cause a disturbance.-

-Inside the manor the ornate gold and silver decoration a have been paired up with holly, evergreen, and mistletoe to create a vibrant and comforting area.-

-There is a dining hall with a buffet with various foods that only require a fork or spoon to eat - as there are very few tables. The buffet itself is lavish and WILL have a few things everyone will eat. And while there is alcoholic drinks being served - and only to those that can provide the documentation to prove that they of legal age to consume alcohol - there is no hard liquor.-

-In the grand hall which is current the designated ballroom, there is a tall ornately decorated tree near the glass doors and windows that lead into the [English-style] garden. At the tree's base is a 30-piece orchestra that plays a variety of music. Placed around the ball room are large sturdy tables that have ice sculptures and drinks - no alcoholic drinks are being served in the ballroom.-

-There are a few rooms set aside for guests to take breaks as seating is at premium in the dining hall and ballroom. And a Few rooms have been designated as smoking rooms.-

-Many employees mill around offering their service. Some carrying trays of drinks or food, others offer to be a dance partner, while others wait to be asked for help.-

-Oh yeah.-

-Mistletoe is available upon request.-

-Along with any guests they might have accrued, both Teams Kaito and Rose have arrived.-

-Kaito is in a long flowy purple dress, with the Rainbow Wings back to being a hair dec rather than a hat dec. For the time being, they've also got a black peacoat to keep warm, but that's not going to be a permanent staple of the outfit once they're inside.-

-Diane is in something along the lines of this.-

-Skye, to contrast, is in a blue dress. Like Kaito, she's keeping warm with a grey coat.-

-Alyssa and Echo are both in their old Illusion Project outfits.-

-Rose has the old red sweater. She's wearing slightly nicer pants, though. And again, a coat.-

-Mason's just wearing his usual attire, it's fancy enough.-

-Evan is in a green sweater vest outfit and looks vaguely like he wants nothing to do with it.-

-But most importantly?-

-They're all wearing sensible shoes.-

Clavis Manor

The invitation and envelope were no longer with him, as he had returned them. What he had now instead of his standard attire was a white button-up shirt over a much nicer pair of pants than what he usually wore, all punctuated with his trademark jacket unzipped and everything that would normally make the pockets bulge now set aside in his laptop bag, which was draped over his right shoulder, but he didn't know if it would be fine to have around.

His Pokeballs were still in his pockets - wouldn't be caught dead without 'em - so that was something that would sorta have to be addressed soon.

Someone was kind enough to take his 'mons to the conservatory, particularly the ones he didn't trust for this kind of thing.

Nothing against Helmsman, Julius, 9-Volt and Sylveon, but the former two would just kinda make a scene and the latter two couldn't handle themselves: 9-Volt's excitability and Sylveon's dry wit.

That left Lucario, Amaterasu - those tails put her dangerously close - Sunny, Natu and Rei.

Currently, Sunny and Lucario were out alongside him, the Fighting-type helping the Fire-type pick out some foods as Colt got himself some food of his own.

Jacob: -In a brilliant white suit coat with a gold patterning◊, matching white pants and shoes, dangling from his pocket is the silver star charm Sakura gave him so many years ago, hair is slicked back, and at his waist is a rapier scabbard, but no sword-

Regina: -The necklace to hold her Gardevoirite hangs from her neck-

Seigfried: -The shiny Gallade keeps in step with the others-

-Sylva is just kind of going along, riding on the back of Jacob's head-

Jacob: "Renard Clavis! My friend! It has been far too long!"

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

Celadon, party time, excellent

-Jason is here, having put on his nice Blues-style tux, now with sensible shoulder cape.-

-Maria, Lane and Iggy have arrived as well to take a break from Iggy's island challenge-

-Maria is wearing this◊-

-Lane is wearing his white flame patterned suit-

-Iggy is wearing a poofy sleeved dress, darumaka themed of course.-

Silas had arrived, and was adjusting his cap, "Alright. Everyone ready?"

His team gave a thumbs up before they were recalled, Hacks just by his side, now with a brighter silver glittering scarf, ~I'm ready. You ready?~

Silas was wearing his officer's uniform (Middle one but in Dark Blues instead of grey◊) and nodded. He stepped forward, hands clasped behind his back as he kept a straight face.

"I'm here for a good time, let's hope they have a good selection of whiskey or gin..."

Hacks snorted a bit and suppressed a laugh, ~Whatever you say bro.~

-Joe had trouble deciding whether to wear masculine or feminine clothes, but eventually decided on the latter. A ruffly, emerald-green dress, with a pair of white gloves upon his hands. He leans over to whisper into Munn's ear-

Joe: My makeup's OK, right?

-Munn smiles and nods. He wears a generic suit-not too fancy, but gets the job done-

Munn: You look great.

-another white-haired guy's about, dressed more masculine-well, somewhat. A burgundy suit, a neat bowtie, and a pair of somewhat beat-up sneakers. He's currently with a group of people he's never met before, smoothly and confidently chatting and entertaining-

-over where there isn't a lot of people, Samantha stands. She's put aside her usual grey dress for something sharper. In a black-and-white suit that contrasts nicely with her bright green eyes and long red hair, she strikes an almost noirish figure, seated in a corner with a drink in her hand-

-Mimmy tilts her head down at her usual frilly pink dress, thinking to herself. She's growing older-she's a teenager, now. Maybe she should wear something new?-

-between the last post and now, she's reunited with her team and let them find out she can understand Monese-

-this was followed by enthusiastic congratulatory hugs from her two oldest Pokémon, followed by an extensive set of puns, in-jokes, and Noodle Incidents that she can now properly flail to-

-it would've been such a shame to miss such an expression of familial love-

Pianis: Then what did he mean? Shoes that aren't good for walking through snow? That doesn't make any sense. If he didn't want people to wear snow boots then there wouldn't be snow here.

Mezzo: Okay, you need to—

-Brie descends from the sky. She's untied her hair for once to give it a cool windswept look, but aside from that she's wearing a slightly fancier version of her usual flying outfit. A vest over a button-down shirt, green slacks-

-and look at that, she's changing from her sneakers into normal people dress shoes-

Ever: They're comfortable.

She looks a little bit like she's going to challenge someone to a duel or possibly recite poetry, but it's appropriate party attire-
