Before Mark even had the opportunity to even issue any further orders, Chopper took the opportunity to utilize focus energy again, having to endure a feint attack that barely brought his health down to half before Chopper retaliated with a high-powered Return Attack, which took the form of a 20-hit attack that consisted of a volley of punches, followed by a swift high kick that sent the Riolu flying upward before the Machop actually leaped into the air and dealt a hammer attack to send the wild pokemon slamming face-down into the ground.
"Way to use your intuition Chopper, great job!" Mark exclaimed before the scent of popcorn caught his attention, prompting him to quickly turn around and notice Umbra and Reynard munching on said popcorn. "Where the hell did you guys get that?!" Mark asked, clearly surprised and envious by the seemingly random event. Meanwhile, the Riolu slowly recovered, barely able to stand but still determined to fight.

PEFE!Every: How long does the timer last? Do you deal with relevant species instincts? What's the mechanism of transformation? If you lose parts, do they regrow when the transformation ends? What would happen to them? If I took a blood sample would it read as a Houndoom or a human? Would it remain consistent after your transformation? Change back gradually? Change back when you did? Are hunger and fatigue levels constant across forms?

"Don't need to tell me twice," Mark simply replied before pulling out another pokeball and tossing it towards the wounded Riolu, whom was too injured to even dodge. The wild mon was engulfed in the distinct red light before being pulled into the pokeball, which shook a few times before coming to a stop and emitting a satisfying click.
"BOOYAH! GOT OURSELVES A BADASS FOR THE TEAM!" Mark exclaimed before adding, "High five Chopper!" The mon and his trainer quickly delivered an epic high-five that actually involved having the Machop jump in mid-air for a slow-motion victory....that quickly caught up with real-time before Mark claimed the pokeball.
"I don't know about you, but I have a tradition of bringing my newly captured pokemon to the nearest pokemon center ASAP. It makes them less likely to hate you, at least that seems to be the case more often than not." Mark told Umbra before asking, "Know if there's one of those Pokemon Centers around here?"

She removed the scarf, her trainer now clutching it as her vulpine form shined through. After she gestured for it to go back on, she became human again, a new kanji on her shirt: "見". "See?" She asked rhetorically

"I'm thinking I'd rather press on to Aspertia. I was headed there originally to begin with. Hell now that I have 2 fighting pokemon in my Unovan team, my odds of thrashing the first gym leader are that much greater...don't worry, it's a figure of speech where I come from." Mark replied, noticing the second part of his remark could have been misinterpreted.
"On we go Chopper, you want to walk this time or hop on my back again?" Mark then asked his Machop companion, whom made his decision clear by holding his arms out like a small child would to indicate his desire to be picked up before Mark complied and set the Mon to cling onto his pack.
"Alright, let's go!" Mark then declared, pointing westward and running off for a few moments before suddenly stopping and turning around to ask, "Hey Umbra, are you still tagging along, or do you have places to be?"
