-The Infinity Ball grunt, meanwhile, yelps and ducks out of the way of the Dragon Pulse, but drops their titular Infinity Ball in the process-

-The Corsola, the Sawsbuck, and two of the grunts are both taken out. The Aegislash Kings Sheilds and the Granbull barely survives, retaliating with an Iron Head on the Golisopod and a Thunder Fang at the Charizard, the remaining two grunts swinging their axe constructs at the rest-

-Jean continues chasing the Rockruff... untill it runs in between the legs of an angry Golurk-

Jean: Ehe, hello?

Golurk: <Crush. Kill. Destroy.>

-starts swinging Shadow Punches at Jean as she dodges. Someone should probably help her-

-The Celsteelia is hit hard by the Smack Down/Earthquake combo as well as the attacks of Team Umbra's mons and the X-Nauts, but keeps at it with sweeping Flamethrowers-

-the guard controlling the Celsteelia doesn't seem phazed. Just tossing its Beast Ball up and down, up and down.-

-Neither Lamarr nor Spectrum is particularly fazed by the Flamethrowers. They're a Rock/Water fossil and a Ground/Dragon EX mon, after all. What did you expect?-

The Control dashboard was made of crystal and had nothing clear about it, touching it revealed the world through the Groudon's eyes.

Electric hums could be heard as up along the back rode Riju, <You guys okay in there?>

Silas recalled most of his team and started to look about for Zumi, Santalune wasn't a big place, finding Zumi shouldn't have been too hard.

JD was busy trying to cover up the hole in his face as the rest of the grunts were dealt with. He proceeds to redraw his blaster as the group continues.

"How many idiots are there in Neo-Flare?"

He started speaking, sounding like he had a bit of a cold. "Perfec-" Colton sneezed. "perfect timing, actually," he noted, his voice clearer. "I don't know what this crystal stuff is, but I think it's some sorta control system."

He placed his hand on it before blinking. The world was much different now, almost like he was looking at the world through the monolith's eyes. He dared not move, unsure of how to handle the power fantasy that came with it.

He closed his eyes before trying to feel his own body again, then removed his hand. "Holy hell..." he breathed.

Kaito: Oh?

Avada: In one of the rooms on this floor, there's a whole bunch of what seems like tripwires.

Myradex: Which of course means that there's something the tripwires are guarding!

Kaito: Interesting. Let's go see if we can disarm that, shall we~?

Colton wore a knowing smirk, having approached Amaterasu with his Beast Ball back in its pocket. "Well, all's well that ends well," he mused. "C'mon, let's go home and maybe get some ice cream or pizza or something," he offered, returning Amaterasu and brandishing his company card before walking to the door.

Then he stopped, having heard wait Kaito and Myra discussed. "Hm?" He hummed, electing to follow them, but hiding in shadows so he couldn't activate any "tripwires".

-The thin, microfilament wires crisscross the room like a mad seamstress's idea of a four dimensional wedding dress. The static charge dances along them, aching for the touch of anything conductive, be they intruder or equipment. The charge is more than enough to fry any electronic in the room, should the wire come within arcing distance - or if a wire is cut astray, and happens to fly close enough.-

-And sitting in a small alcove beneath each server are packets, small enough to be easily mistaken for cake mix bags. Each packet is filled with fuel, metal oxide, and metal powder mixed in just such a way as to cause an infernally hot exothermic reaction - thermite, for short. All it's waiting for is for a trigger.-
