Scuttle: <Maybe you should try actually enjoying yourself. This is a vacation, after all.>

(Seth goes back to idly whacking his paddleball.)

Seth: Vacation? Aren't you a new recruit?

Silas rubbed his head, "That might be a bit hard actually. The guy who designed this tech is dead and I don't know if the Foxerian government has any spares or the time to make them considering they might be still be rebuilding after the war."

PEFE!Every: Uh, well, yeah. I was here because I wanted a phone so I could remotely call this plane I stole from an Umbreon. But it turns out my team sabotaged the plane, so even if I do get a phone I can't actually get home.

-she sulks-

So now I'm here. And I apparently work for this place. Joy.

‘’’Altar’’’

He bit his tongue. He grabbed his wrist. He looked around him. He accounted for the new characters - he’d introduce himself later.

He took a few steps back. He turned around.

His hand trembled. His brow was covered in sweat.

Colton facepalmed.

The echo was loud enough for all of Poni Ilsand to notice and turn to look where the noise came from. The Butterfree effect caused by the currents from both his hand and the echoes would send thousands of Cottonee careening for the wrong place. The noise on its own would be enough to bypass any Pokémon with Inner Focus if they never saw it coming.

He listened for the reverberations, counting off 13 seconds of triple-digit decibel exasperation.

“Okay, I think I’m fine. Let’s just get reacquainted with these faces and go try a different route.”

(Seth raises an eyebrow. Padma audibly stops sucking her soda. They glance at each other. Then at PEFE!Every. Then at each other again. Then into a corner of the room which has been stacked high with assorted metal junk. Then back to PEFE!Every once more, with looks on their faces that suggest they've decided it's not worth questioning her further.)

-PEFE!Every stops for a moment, craning her neck to hear a faint, faraway noise-

PEFE!Every: ...That was weird.

-she huffs-

PEFE!Every: So, um, I feel like we maybe got off on the wrong foot. My name's Every Memito.

-she holds out a hand to shake-

 Exeggutor Island, past 

Go Legion!

Legion: <TaKE THIS!!!>

-Immediately assumes her School Form and fires an Ice Beam at Flygon, leaving him with only a sliver of health-

Flygon: -Strikes out with a Thunder Punch, making Legion lose a quarter of her health, before getting fainted by another Ice Beam-

INTRODUCTION - DAY - MELEMELE ISLAND 
FADE IN: 
ELYSIA holds the camera in front of her, angled slightly to show VIERR taking a stance against an offscreen  
opponent. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <Hi, I'm Elysia Nox, who we've got behind me is Vierr Qualtis, and you're watching Jackass.> 
ELYSIA pans the camera over her shoulder just in time to show VIERR getting tackled and sent flying by TAPU KOKO. 
VIERR collides with a tree and falls face-first onto the ground. A bell rings offscreen.

SCENE 1: NORMALIUM-Z AND FIGHTINIUM Z - DAY - MELEMELE ISLAND 
A low-budget transition is used to go from the end of the INTRODUCTION to the beginning of this scene. ELYSIA's 
voice can be heard from behind the camera, which is focusing unsteadily on VIERR. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <All right, Terrible McWizard, we're rolling.> 
VIERR groans. 
                 VIERR 
                 Please don't call me that. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <Yeah, whatever, reserved for Crewe, blah blah. You haven't even seen her in literal years.> 
                 VIERR 
                 Shhh. 
ELYSIA whispers quietly enough that VIERR can't hear her, but it is still picked up by the camera's microphone. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <Crewe's an old crush of his, but he'll never admit it. He loves her.> 
VIERR continues, unaware of ELYSIA's comment. 
                 VIERR 
                 Anyway, Ken, this is how the team and I decided to document our Z-Move studies for you. We 
                 figured there was only so much you could get across in a written report, after all. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <And also you're really bad at writing essays.> 
                 VIERR 
                 Elysia, please stop. You're making too much noise, whether he can understand you or not. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <Fine, fine.> 
VIERR sighs, and holds up his left arm with his Z-RING on it. 
                 VIERR 
                 Now, I'll start with the motions for the moves, as I come across them. Later on, I'll just 
                 abridge the demonstrations and explanations, but for the first couple, it's worth going into 
                 detail. 
He crosses his arms in front of his chest, left over right. 
                 VIERR 
                 From what I know so far, every Z-Move starts out the same way, with your arms crossed in front 
                 of you. 
He rotates his arms to his sides, fists clenched. 
                 VIERR 
                 Then, for Normal-type moves, break the cross... 
He crosses them again, this time pointing forward. 
                 VIERR 
                 Push forward... 
He bends his knees down and angles his arms diagonally downward and to his right. 
                 VIERR 
                 And make a Z with your arms. 
He finishes the move by sweeping his left arm diagonally upward, then crossing it over his forehead and his right 
arm over his stomach. 
                 VIERR 
                 And there you have it, the pose for a Z-Move powered by Normalium Z. I dunno if the Z shape is 
                 intentional or just coincidence, but it's thematically appropriate, I suppose. 
He puts his arms down. 
                 VIERR 
                 From what I understand, the pose is designed to center one's Aura, which explains why the attack 
                 it creates, Breakneck Blitz, is a full-body tackle. All of the user's Aura is near the center of 
                 gravity. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <Are we planning on demonstrating the attack itself in this thing?> 
                 VIERR 
                 We'll show the attack later. For now, just the poses. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <Got it.> 
VIERR crosses his arms again. 
                 VIERR 
                 Fightinium Z based moves start out the same way — cross your arms, break to your sides, and 
                 cross again in front. 
He demonstrates, repeating the first three steps of the previous Z-MOVE. 
                 VIERR 
                 Them, from this position, pull your left arm back and punch forward with your right. 
He locks his right arm forward, and brings his left arm down to his side. 
                 VIERR 
                 Then alternate a few times, like this. 
He performs a rapid series of punches, then lifts his left foot and lunges forward with his right fist. 
                 VIERR 
                 The last one has that little bit of extra "oomph" to it. Each punch forces the Aura forward, 
                 which manifests in physical form through All-Out Pummeling. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <You look very powerful.> 
                 VIERR 
                 I don't know whether that's a compliment or an insult, Elysia, but I'm gonna pretend it's a 
                 compliment. 
                 ELYSIA 
                <You just believe that, buddy. So, the moves?> 
                 VIERR 
                 Right, we're gonna cut to that, stop recording.

Phaz: "Hihi~ Then let's stay a bit and enjoy the sun, since I had a small stop~..."

He hugs him again.

"I hope we'll be able to enjoy the autumn together~"

Iki Town

Sergey nodded

Sergey: "Sure, that sounds wonderful Darling~"

Iki Town

He squeals a bit then begins to hug him more, excited.

Phaz: "I'd say we go to the beach first~ Would that be okay~?"

Iki Town

Sergey nodded

Sergey: "Yay~ Sure~"

Seafolk Village

Leeya: Are you sure about this?

Gudrunn: Yes. I was worried about protecting my friends already and this happens... I can't afford to be weak.

-She narrows her eyes-

And you saw those sparks by the machine. I'm worried it is... Is coming back.

-Leeya pauses, then shrugs-

Leeya: Good enough for me!

-She produces a needle, then carefully injects a Nihlego antivenom serum into Gudrunn's wrists-

Gudrunn: I'm presuming this takes a few months to wo-

-Suddenly her scars shrink and disappear, and blasts of Dark Obscura erupt from her hands, knocking her to the floor-

Phenomenal power is gonna take some getting re-used to.

Reina: -leans in to Leeya- Definitely keep an eye on her.

Leeya:' Duly noted!

-By the Seafolk noodle house, in a secluded area, an Espurr and a Mawile wait-

Mawile: <So. They did it.>

Rrupse: ~...Yeah...~

Mawile: <Then why do we still feel like crap?>

Rrupse: ~Because his son and said son's friends are still in trouble, and we have no clue where they went.~

Mawile: <...Yeah, that sums it up. Also do we still need these disguises at this point?>

Rrupse: ~I guess not.~

-They remove two armband-like devices on their person, causing them to turn into two young women - the Mawile into one blonde and white in white, Rrupse into one darker skinned and in yellow, with hair similarly seemingly dyed an unnatural shade of blonde-

Girl in White: So, Giselle. What do we do if we can't let the other Multiverse Warriors know about this?

Girl in Yellow: Simple, Trina.

...We get the Wanderer Corps. for a rescue mission. Or do it ourselves. Either way, we're getting Locke back and stopping The Fanatic.

Siivagunner: <Hope you enjoyed, folks! Look forward to Part 2!>

-he buzzes off, playing this: -

-PEFE!Every is sitting in the room she appropriated from the intern, staring at a wall-

Scuttle: <How are you doing?>

PEFE!Every: Bored. I can't get home, I did what I was hired to do here, and I can't even bug that intern any more because they've got a robot guard now.

Scuttle: <Well, you could always look at the islands.>

PEFE!Every: I could if this room had a window.

Scuttle: <Well, at least it's nice hanging out with us, right?>

PEFE!Every: ...Yes. That is true.

-she pets Scuttle's head-

PEFE!Every: So. Do you think these guys are evil or not?

Scuttle: <Huh?>

PEFE!Every: Well, they're a science team. It's, like, a fifty-fifty chance, right?

Scuttle: <I dunno. Considering how they reacted to the disruptor, they seem like they might be good people?>

PEFE!Every: Sure, but they're also run by an Eggman lookalike and they get around in a giant ominous airship.

Scuttle: <So does the J-team.>

PEFE!Every: Well, Dr. Tagg doesn't look like Eggman. So the J-team is probably half-evil. I mean, have you met that creepy guy that looks like me? There's no way he's a good guy.

Scuttle: <You know, given the divergences in your respective physical and sartorial developments, you don't actually look much alike any more.>

PEFE!Every: Still bugs me.

The GM House

-A house. Possibly her own house. She doesn't know the time of day, or which day it is, or even her own name.-

Deziree: Oooooooogh...

DR. MOBIUS!: <Oh! Wonderful! You're awake!>

-Deziree peels herself off of the floor. Her head pounds like a Thundurus drum, to the rhythm of her own heartbeat.-

Deziree: Oh god... what happened...?

DR. MOBIUS!: <Well, it started when you asked for a cup of coffee...

Deziree: Nevermind then, I know exactly what happened after that.

-Deziree finally focuses enough to take in her surroundings. The garage is an absolute mess. The acrid smell of melted wiring permeates the air and bites at the nose, and the air is hazy with wisps of smoke.-

Deziree: Did whatever we make survive?

-Mobius's gave shifts down and to the left.-

Deziree: So no.

-Mobius shrugs before pointing to the pile of melted slag - no doubt the source of the smoke and smell - lying in the corner.-

Deziree: Yeah, definitely no.

-Her gaze drifts to the right and she blinks. Sitting on the floor are three cubes of metal - one a solid, gleaming yellow, one an oxidized black-blue, and one a reflective grey.-

Deziree: Whaaaaa.

-Deziree goes over, and grabs the yellow cube. It's heavy - too heavy to lift with bare hands. She sticks a thumbnail into the flat top, and it makes a small divot in the metal. Gold. As pure a gold as could be scientifically confirmed.-

Deziree: That would make this one...

-She puts a hand on the second cube and uses her nails to peal away the oxidized surface, revealing a brilliant sheen underneath that quickly begins to reoxidize. Silver, pure enough to oxidize rapidly when simply exposed to air.-

Deziree: ... Holy shit that means this last one is pure tungsten.

-She runs her hand over the reflective metal, looking at the absolutely solid form. She studies the reflection, when something occurs to her.-

Deziree: What the hell happened to my hair?!

DR. MOBIUS!: <I was, er, wondering when you'd ask that. You were considering cutting it short, right?>

Altar

Colton returned to the new crowd, sizing up the newer faces.

"If we're gonna be around each other for a while if we're gonna find those poor suckers, we should get to know each other," Colton announced. He waved.

"I'm Colton."

-Every may see a woman walking around with an Absol at her side. The most striking thing about the woman is how bright she looks with her white clothes and golden blonde hair. She's almost literally glowing.-

Altar

-Ahe waves in Colton's general direction, still pacing a hole into the stone-

PEFE!Every: Well, that's...unusual.

Hey! Why are you glowing?

Altar

Colton specified by approaching the new faces, making eye contact with them and learning how they looked.

"While we're waiting for whatsisname to come up with something, would you mind if I bothered to learn who you are-slash-tell the J-Team you guys are back in action?" He asked while unsheathing his phone.

-The woman smiles.-

Gabrielle: "Merely a percieved illusion, dear."

-She speaks with a Kalosian accent - noticeable, but not too heavy.-

Michael: <She means that it's because of her clothes and hair.>

"I recognize their faces somewhat from when DeCross threatened them."
