Mt. Lanakila, Small Ice Cave, Past

-Unfortunately for Elizabeth there is nothing in this cave but ice, rocks, more ice, and her present company.-

-The only things that are flammable is everyone's gear and the humans and pokemon.-

-Ren and Rio slide down the now icy slope, Rio using Metal Claw to prevent excessive sliding.-

-Ren looks around the cavern there are two other tunnels other than the one most of the group entered by. All the ground has a layer of ice on it.-

-One tunnel is the one the Sandshrew-line mon left through.-

-The other tunnel seem to be dimly lit by frozen bioluminescent Moss Balls.-

-Ren gives a second glance at the lit tunnel before sliding some ice cleats onto his boots to improve traction. Blitz, Dune, and Pent should have gotten a similar pair of cleats from Ren if they didn't already have some. Ren, Unfortunately, doesn't have a pair of cleats for Elizabeth, because he wasn't expecting to find anyone else on the mountain other than the listed abductees.-

Unsure if the Aura Sphere would even be able to do anything, given that the Aura around this Ninetales wasn't standard fare at all, Lucario reconsidered for the 3rd time.

(The Aura Sphere hits Elagabalus hard in the side of the head, yet the Ninetales merely twitches a little. Minos's Scratch may as well not have hit him at all for all the reaction it elicits. It was around this time that Colton ran out of breath. It was still too hot for Helmsman to do anything to that Ninetales from hell, so he decided he had to do some form of progress.

"Helmsman, check..." He gasped. He felt in his pocket for his other Pokeballs.

"Minister, check... Ammy, check... Sylveon, check... Lucari- why is his Pokeball open?" He held it in his hand in a modicum of disbelief.

<Arceus' unholy flank, he's almost as hardheaded as me.> Helmsman gasped. He had more stamina than his trainer, given, but it was so damned hot that it meant bugger all.

"I think there's only one 'mon suited for this," Colton realized, their respective Pokeball in his hands. "Get back in, Helmsman, I'm sure I'll make it in time."

The Water-type gladly returned, Quirinus' body falling onto the ground. Colton put his headphones on to distract him from his fatigue.

Lucario took the momentum from his Low Sweep and used it to sweep under the Fire Spin. Or Inferno. Or whatever that move was. Hell, you could tell him it was Fusion Flare and he'd buy it.

The searing heat was still ridiculous, but the rising hot air made it marginally more bearable, as the lower part was slightly cooler.

This was soon to be further supported by what he was planning to begin with.

His left paw, still with no Aura on it, was aimed for Elagabalus. Keeping track of his Aura, he hoped he'd siphon enough from him to incapacitate the Fire-type.

-Magma and Eleck uses earthquake, while The Rock and Lyn both use Rock slide one more time. Minos follows suite by using play rough. Cro uses toxic which thanks to his half poison type, should be a gauranteed hit. However as this is no ordinary Pokemon battle, could have no effect whatsoever. The desert Pokemons repeat their attacks.-

"DON'T BE A HERO!" Colton bellowed as he returned Lucario; now having been rendered near-comatose from heat exhaustion. Drain Punch did go through - in fact, it was the last thing he remembered - but whether it even did anything was unknown.

Colton himself was also about ready to black out before a Pokeball opened, Minister landing in front of them, a Protect raised.

<Strafe,> he commanded, walking backwards away from the Ninetales seeming to melt the entirety of the Foundation into nothing. It was still fuckmothering scorching, but neither of them was passing out anytime soon.

-As the group comes out of the tunnel it open into an expansive cavern. Dominating the space is less an "ice palace" but an ice fortress. Frozen bioluminescent moss dots the cavern walls, casting odd shadows that throw the ornately carved patterns in the fortress walls in to sharp relief as well as causing a mysterious, yet pleasing twinkling effect as one approaches the fortress-

-The hexagonal structure majestic as it is imposing. Walls of solid ice - not individual blocks - rise almost 40 feet into the air with six circular towers rising up to 60 feet. Some parts of the wall have been made extremely thin, giving the effect of windows. Faint glows can be seen through the windows. Whether moss or something else, it impossible to tell from a outside-

-A bit further are stairs frozen with texture to provide traction. these steps lead to a walk way made of ice that lead through an ice garden of ice ice statues of Pokemon, plants, and humans. bioluminescent moss has been frozen making "lamps" along the path.-

-Past the garden are a pair of doors surround by a large jagged shape - the only entrance on front side of the fortress. The doors themselves are solid sheets of ice frozen in ornate patterns And the jagged shape on the wall around the doors is actually made up of smaller versions of itself in a tessellating pattern.-

-While these doors aren't HUGE, they are big enough it'll take more than one Human to open.-
