Cid: So... on top of the conspiracy apparently using psychic children as test subjects, we accidentally opened up the way for a series of interdimensional invaders.

-Cid lies the report flat on the table, squared perfectly with the table's edges. The directors around the table - including those by electronic proxy - are dead silent.-

Cid: ...

-Cid takes a deep breath before resting his elbows on the table and clasping his hands together.-

Cid: The Alola situation has escalated beyond what could have been reasonably expected. Doctors Orlandeau and Aulstyne, would you object to a tactical intervention?

-Dr. Orlandeau takes a moment to mull it over. Dr. Aulstyne does not.-

Aulstyne: Vith all due respect, Herr Doktor, an escalation of any kind at zis point vould likely cause irreparable damage to our long-term operations.

-Cid leans forward.-

Orlandeau: I'm... hesitant to say it, but I must agree with Aulstyne. The last thing we want is for the Alola region to break out into a war zone. Tactical interventions for the sake of population centers and research facilities, yes, but bringing the Red Wings here would likely create an inescapable scenario. Especially if any of the other organizations caught wind of what we accomplished over the last month's time.

-Cid nods, some slight vigor returning to his face.-

Cid: I can accept that logic.

-Cid looks over at the small man tapping his foot against the leg of the table.-

As Nana approaches the cave entrance, she recognizes the figure awaiting her, a Marowak. Said Marowak has their skull painted in a blue, concentric circular pattern and is wearing a belt of glittering rocks and moss-covered stones

Lokenani: <AHOY, AUSSIE! GO LONG!>

She proceeds to chuck her husband at the other Marowak, the Lapras skidding along the ground on his shell like a shuffleboard puck.

"The oddly decorated Marowak makes a short "eek" sound before stomping up a bit of earth to stop Bert from colliding into her"

The Marowak addressed as "Aussie": <OI! MOM! SERIOUSLY? AGAIN? LAST TIME YOU KICKED DAD TOWARDS ME WE BOTH CRASHED INTO THE CAVE WALL!>

"Bert looks over to Lokenani from his now stopped position, as Nani makes her own way over"

Bert: <Australe's right.>

Lokenani: <Oh! ...wait, no, didn't she fall into the water?>

Bert: <No, you bowled Iwikuamo'o into the water last time we were in Alola.>
