-He shoots at the exposed area-

-Trainwreck nods and goes in, getting ready to defend the area-

-The Onix gets ready too, but also brandishes his weapon-

Onix: <Well, guess I'm defending with them.>

Outside Orbital Colony

Phaz was dodging some lasers

Phaz: "Attacking it!"

He aims a salvo of shots at the red mark

-Lyra continues with the rest of them, shotgun in hand.-

Shaun: "Yeah, I'd be prepared. Arceus forbid you doing it in the middle of the night with no warning. It's enough of a hellhouse as it is."

Jessica: <Ha! Let's go!>

Jamie: <Sestra...Lightning got away, but I can catch you!>

Scarlette: It's... not that scary, is it?

-Nora laughs and starts scampering away to be chased-

Shaun: "I'll let you be the judge of that. But suffice to say, I'd rather fight Cynthia's Garchomp than do that trial again. Armed with only my wits and a taser. Which would be inefective due to typing."

-Jessica leaps our after her only to be tagged by Jamie.-

Jamie: <Ha! Got you Sestra!>

-He runs away towards Lightning. Jessica decides to go after Nora.-

-Ludmilla is sitting on the bench again. She has noticeable bags under her eyes.-

-he's made his way to the beach, next to Ludmilla. Joseph is trying his best to relax-

-Ludmilla gives Joseph a small wave. She looks like she's both at the edge of sleep, and fighting valiantly to stay away from it.-

Ace: <Jamie, there are a lot of things to know about battling, but there are three main things to remember. Be smart->

Shaun: "And confident."

Ace: <Simply knowing a move won't do you any good. You must know how to apply it.>

Shaun: "Strategies are one thing to remember. Better to be weak but skilled than strong and unskilled."

Tsunami: <Knowing this, show us what you got.>

Ace: <I will detail a set of scenarios, and I want you to tell me what to do. Afterwards, you will take me on in combat. Understand?>

Jamie: <I think so. Let's give it a shot!>

-Shaun pears over his glasses.-

Shaun: "There's one part down..."

Ace: <Okay, an easy one - you're being attacked by a Grass-type. What move type do you use?>

Jamie: <Easy! Ice!>

Ace: <Of course. But a baby would know that. Let's say a Mon tries to take you out with Fire moves. What then?>

Jamie: <I...do a Rain Dance!>

Ace: <Correct! Finally, what advantages and disadvantages do you have compared to larger mons?>

Jamie: <I'm faster and harder to hit! But I can't take as much damage or tank hits!>

Shaun: "Bingo. You're a natural, Jamie. Now, Ace..."

Ace: <Shall we? I'll go easy on you.>

Jamie: <Heh, you'll regret that!>

-Ace glares at Jamie.-

Ace: <That, Jamie, is the benefit of abilities!>

Jamie: <Yeah?>

-A dark cloud rolls in over the group. The winds pick up. A storm is coming. Jamie stomps his right forefoot, and...-

Jamie: <COOL! How about that, Ace?"

Jessica: <Heheh, I see what you did there. Get em' James!>

Ace: <Alright, let's see how you like this!>

-Ace rushes forward with a Wing Attack, hitting Jamie.-

Jamie: <Ow! But I'm not going down already!>

-He Howls into the sky. Ace is struck by a rather large hailstone.-

Ace: <Well, I see you now how to use Egg Moves. Now let's see how you deal with this.>

-He surrounds Jamie with illusory copies, who all charge in.-

Jamie: <Uh, uh...>

-He sees a small hailstone strike a clone instead of going through it.-

Jamie: <There you are!>

-He blows a gust of cold air towards Ace, buying enough time to roll away.-

Ace: <Excellent! That's how you use your brains!>

-Ace relaxes his muscles. Jamie sends a piece of ice in his direction, which is dodged.-

Ace <Alright, you show some promise. Keep this up, and you'll keep getting stron->

Ace: <Eh, what was I saying?>

-He shakes himself to clear his mind.-

Ace: <Ah, yes. Good job, Jamie.>

-The clouds fade away.-

Jessica: <Nice job, little bro!>

Tsunami: <Not bad, kid.>

-Jamie is positively beaming as they head back inside.-

-Ludmilla takes a while to respond, though whether it's to confirm if Joseph is a hallucination or not is up in the air.-

Ludmilla: Bad dreams. Don't want to sleep.

Joseph: ...do you need a Dream Eater? Or a gold voice?

The Rayquaza roared out in pain as the lock was destroyed. It turned to Phaz and soon began to chase him, it's jaw clamping open and shut over and over again.

"Watch out Phaz! You pissed it off!"

Interior Colony

The security team moves everyone inside, several Peoplemon in labcoats sit inside the bunker cowering in terror.

Orbital Colony 13, Outside

Phaz does an Oh, Crap! face and quickly backs away by doing a demi-loop.

Phaz: "I've seen this! Take out other red dots if you find other! I'll try to dodge Rayq now!"

All while flying away from the mech's jaws, he fires a bomb at his mouth.

"Eat this instead, Mech!"

Lyra: "Well, you're all here. Time to get you out."

Orbital Colony 13, Inside, Bunker

Alyesha looked around, lowering her weapon first and trying to smile reassuringly.

Alyesha: "Don't worry."

Orbital Colony 13

-In a mix of trying to take some of the edge off and maybe find out what Dross' deal is, Trainwreck poses a question-

Trainwreck: <Uh... would you mind telling us something you might have been working on? Don't need to, but...>

Sack: Better him than me, at least...

-Sack tries seeing if that or something else will open up again-

Star follows the rest inside, holstering her pistol as she does.

".. Whew, there you all are."

Konikoni Beach, Last Night

Ludmilla: Maybe. Dreams are weird, though. Place between two mirrors put face to face. Colors I don't know. Snakes. Less a dream and more being pulled through a membrane.

-She rubs some crust from her eyes.-

Orbital Colony 13 - Bunker

One of the scientists spoke up, "We were working on the Wormhole project! Our device was very nearly successful, until it got stolen from the production grounds, we were evacuated as soon as-"

"Stellar Doom came by," one of the other scientists, a Ivysaur spoke up, in a quick motion he gripped onto a nearby Charmeleon Scientist and had drawn a laser blaster, he waved it around the room before pressing it against the Charmeleon, "And then you all prevented my getaway."

Orbital Colony 13 - Outside

The Rayquaza gobbled the bomb up, smoke coming from it's mouth before it faltered for a moment, it seemed deeply hurt and halted, several more red locks appearing.

Silas took the chance to open fire on a few, "Okay we got lucky there! Seems this thing isn't as invulnerable on the inside."

Orbital Colony 13, Inside the Colony, Bunker

Alyesha flinched as she saw that, staggering a bit backward but remaining aware enought to not raise her gun.

Alyesha: "Wh-What the..."

-Lyra raises her shotgun instinctively and points it at the Ivysaur.-

Lyra: "Don't. Fucking. Move."

-Her companions - Trainwreck, Star, and Alyesha - will hear her voice in their heads.-

Lyra: ~I got an idea. Not sure if it's a good one, but I got one. Or two.~

Phaz: "Literally every boss gnawing at you in a video game got this weakness. You'd think peoples would protect the inside."

He flies to the nearest red lock and shoots another salvo at it.
