Maggie: "Oh, there's going to be a battle?"

Chum: <Hm, might be fun to watch.>

Ace: <So, about Jasper...>

Shaun: "Yes?"

Ace: <Is he coming back, or are we back down to five?>

-Shaun shrugs.-

Shaun: "Maybe. I wouldn't rush it though. Maybe he'll come back, maybe he'll stay home. We've gotten along just fine without him, though. I don't really care as long as he's happy."

Ace: <I agree. Altough, he would make a good addition to the team.>

-He looks out the window.

Ace: <I'll be outside if you need me.>

-Anyone walking past may see Ace, Tsunami, Lighting, and Ruby outside.-

-Lisa and Sholto are here, looking around-

Lisa: <Hm, this certainly seems like a nice place. Like where I grew up, but without...>

Sholto: <Yeah, it is pretty nice. And looks like there are some places with water for guests who'd need to be more aquatic.>

Lisa: <Hm, indeed...>

<Are you certain you want to have it near that one Mystery Dungeon, though? It sounds like getting weakened upon entry doesn't sound like the best thing, should anyone wander off.>

Sholto: <Oh? It'll be fine!>

<Probably...>

<Eh, we can think about it. Look around here to see if there'd be any good, less dangerous, but still ghost-y places.>

Lisa: <Alright. Hopefully we can find something.>

<And Rosary can handle Sketchy fine in the meantime...>

-Gogie is wandering around with a Wailmer and may run into Ace and co-

99% of my interactions are with you. Not that I'm complaining~

-Hearing the Wailmer, Ace turns in the direction of the noise.-

Ace: <Oh! Greetings, Gogie!>

-Tsunami simply nods in greeting.-

Lightning: <Oh, hello Mr. Ka-Gogie.>

Ruby: <Oh, so this is the Mightyena I've heard so much about?>

Wailmer: <These folks you've been running into all the time, huh?>

Ace: <Not much. Just hanging out here. Oh, and this - er...>

Ruby: <Incident.>

Ace: <With Jasper.>

Gogie: <The Eevee kid? What happened, if you don't mind me asking?>

Ace: <Long story short, he was angry and upset that he came with us.>

Tsunami: <Shaun sent him home to be with his parents.>

Gogie: <Ah... Yeah, I kind of get you there. My trainer had a similar issue with a former team member due to a lot of kerfluffle about trainers and formerly being on the same team. Granted, he still hangs around at times, just, yeah. Isn't on our team in the traditional sense.>

Sphere: <Yeah, plus what happened with Tale.>

Gogie: <Yeah, glad we got that worked out...>

Ace: <Oh? Something similar?>

Sphere: <In the sense of 'didn't want to come along' at least...>

Gogie: <Uh, yeah... Tale kind of had an idea of what kind of trainer I'd be like and wanted out for a bit when that became a thing. Granted, besides trying to convince me to look tougher at times, he ended up coming around.>

<But, yeah... I do hope whatever decision Jasper makes, the team ends up alright.>

-a Toucannon flies to Mezzo-

Mezzo: Oh, it's here!

Toucannon: <Toucannon delivery service, package for Ms. Morendo?>

Pianis: What's here?

-Mezzo signs a notice produced by the Toucannon and picks up her package-

Mezzo: Apparently Ren sent me some malasada this way, so I decided to order my own thing.

-and unpacks a Switch-

Mezzo: You heard about this? Apparently it's the best thing for gaming on the go when you're a Trainer.

Pianis: Isn't that what we have laptops for?

-Forte walks into the center and notices a poster for J-Con 2017-

Forte: Oh, that's cool. It started a week ago? Aw, wish I could've been—

-when he is suddenly accosted by a young woman with blue drill-shaped pigtails-

Gail: Oh my gosh! We need to go right now!

Forte: Wah! Wait, what?

Gail: I'll explain later! Right now we need to get to that J-Con on Royal Avenue or the whole space-time continuum could fall apart!

-a particular time traveling faerie appears as Gail snaps her finger-

Celebi: <You found them? Great! Let's get going!>

-and the three disappear in a flash of green light-

Forte: What's going on?

Gail: There's no time to explain. We've traveled back about a week into the past. I just need you to be in attendance at that con, or else it'll cause another time paradox!

Forte: Uh, okay.

Gail: Oh, and you might want a disguise. If they figure out your past self is still on Ula'ula Island, that might cause trouble. Okay, see you!

-Gail snaps her finger again, and she and Celebi disapepar-

Forte: Time travel again... -sigh-

-Forte, in their fursuit, is surveying the attendees-

Shadow: <What are we supposed to be looking for.>

Forte: I don't know. What's a time paradox supposed to look like?

Ace: <Nice to meet you, Sphere.>

Eterna City

-it's been months since she met Coyote, and still nothing has happened. No one here seems willing to be converted, at least not anymore, and people now knew enough about the pale, severe young woman in black to avoid her-

-the Umbreon sleeps, curled into a ball in the Pokemon Center, and dreams-

-in the desert, there is a small oasis from the sin and depravity. Led by a virtuous woman, the community of about fifty has established a community centered around the teachings of Yveltal, praise be to her. A stern, serious, pious people to be sure, and none more so than the leader-

-preaching to her congregation at the daily mass, she closes her eyes and concentrates. After what seems like a small eternity, dark energy sparks from her hands-

-silence, then rapturous applause. They know what comes next-

The Next Morning

-the young woman opens her eyes, lays still for a minute, and speaks aloud-

Cassiopeia: Orre.

Sphere: <Same...>

Gogie: <But, yeah, Akala's been pretty fun... met Maki and visited the nursery in Paniola, fished a bit more at Brooklet Hill... you know what I was doing at Wela Volcano Park... Royal Avenue... eheh...>

Ace: <Sounds fun. We've been to Royal Avenue, of course, and we also did the first two trials, which you know.>

Tsunami: <Not to mention visiting the Battle Dome...>

Ruby: <We went to the Nursery as well.>

Ace: <Who's Maki?>

The Velvet Room

-Igor looks at the suit of cards in front of him. Well, he calls them a suit, but they're a bit closer than that.-

-At the top sits a Temperance and a Strength bound by glistening silver chains. These two are bound in more ways than one, and neither regret it for a second.-

-Below them are the cards that may yet potentially be. Or have already happened. Time and Space are somewhat vague in the Velvet Room.-

-A Sun card, brilliant and shining, stands at the fore. The two after are less brilliant, but only due to lack of practice: a Star and Death. Both, in fact, share nearly the same artwork. Both show a man under a night's sky. But whereas one shows a young man being guided by the polar star, the other shows of an old man resting upon a rock.-

-But, where is the fourth card, you may ask? The one of the girl, who isn't connected by blood, but a part of this collective nonetheless?-

-Her card has never been made. Not in this world nor any other.-

-Igor thinks for a moment, before shaking away the thoughts before they even properly coalesce.-

-No, never. He knows what would be invited into this world by that card, whatever form it would take. He must prevent it's creation - Ludmilla cannot become involved.-

Gogie: <Uh, yeah. Nursery was pretty nice. And... well, I didn't participate in the Battle Dome, but there was a guy who was fun to watch.>

Sphere: -to Ace- <New girl. She's a Barboach. Looking for entertaining stuff.>

Ace: <It was rather intersting. And a Barboach, you say? Do you mean she is an entertainer?>

-Shaun exits his room, Jessica on his shouder.-

Shaun: "Hey, you guys want to order pizza?"

-He notices Gogie and Sphere.-

Shaun: "Oh, hey Gogie. I don't believe I have met you, Wailmer.-

Sphere: <Eh, not really. More she joined up with us hoping for something to break the monotony. Guess I could suggest being an entertainer and see if that helps, though.>

Gogie: <Oh, heya, Shaun.>

Sphere: <I'm Sphere. Pizza sounds good if there's shrimp on it.>

-Shaun laughs.-

Shaun: "Nice to meet you, Sphere. I like your priorities. So, a half cheese half pepperoni, two shrimps, and one with olives and Pinap berries. Unless you don't like any of those, Goige."

Ace: <Oh, she seeks entertainment. My mistake, I misundestood.>

Natalie: "How about a three-on-three. Nyssa, come back. Iskandar. Take it away."

-She releases a pokeball, and a Lurantis hops out.-

Lurantis: <I shall smite thine enemy, my lady!>

Sphere: <No worries.>

Gogie: <Eh, I'm not picky. I'll probably have the pepperoni and shrimp ones, though.>
