Phaz is back to where the Trial should start.

Phaz: So it's okay now, I can go?

Trial Attendant: Sure thing.

He wants to be Trial'd.

-As the weather of the location shifts, the Salazzle spits a Toxic blob at Tsunami, which she might find is more effective than usual-

-Tsunami laughs as the Toxic hits her, then stops as she is posioned.-

Tsunami: <What? How?>

Shaun: "Shit, I forgot! It's her signature ability, Corrosion! Don't worry though! We got this! Channel Hydro Pump!"

Tsunami: <You're about to have a bad time...>

-Shaun does the standard Z-Move pose followed by moving his arms in a way reminiscent of ocean waves.-

-The Salazzle is buffetted by the powerful water stream, taking significant damage-

-She calls for help, summoning a Salandit-

-Both reptiles send out a Flame Burst-

-Tsumami sidesteps the first burst, but in doing so steps directly into the the other ball of flames.-

Tsunami: <Arrgh! You'll pay for that! Both of you!>

-She attacks with Surf, generating a wide wave in order to hit both of the lizard Mons.-

-Lana approaches Phaz-

Lana: You're here for the Trial, right?

Phaz nods.

Phaz: Yes, this is correct. It's the Water-type one, huh?

-Lana headtilts-

Lana: I thought it was the Fire type one?

Brooklet Hill

Phaz headtilts too.

Phaz: deadpan Uh... No. You're wearing blue clothes with some kind of net, there's small ponds, and I can hear water running ahead. This is obviously the Dark type one. With a more normal tone More seriously, you must be the Trial Captain, right?

Lana: You are correct.

Phaz: Perfect. Shall we start the Trial then?

-The Principal is sitting across from a holographic monitor. One of her inferiors is on the screen.-

Instructor Xenon: ~She is confirmed in Alola. The man who interfered in Sinnoh and Orre has been making enquiries. Nothing else to report.~

The Principal: ~Proceed with caution in Alola. A new faction has created tension. The Guardians are on alert. As for the man... You've read his dossier? There appear to be major portions missing.~

Instructor Xenon: ~I-I can explain, sir! The man, one Derek Galvani-Morton, he... he's a void.~

The Principal: ~Explain.~

Instructor Xenon: ~Our agent in Phenac, he approached him, and... nothing. The man's mind is a ball of static.~

The Principal: ~...~

Instructor Xenon: ~Sir, should we keep him on constant monitoring?~

The Principal: ~Make it so. If we cannot sense him coming, he is a danger.~

Instructor Xenon: ~And what of his wife?~

The Principal: ~What of her? She is already a danger to herself. Let her blow herself up or enrage Palkia on her own. She'll destroy herself before she ever comes close to us.~

-Deziree spots the lone cabin, barely at the upper edge of the tree line. Whoever was up here sure as hell wanted to get away.-

-Deziree knocks on the door. The door knocks back, sending Deziree onto her back. A man with frenzied eyes and torn robes brandishes a broken bottle over his head and bony finger pointing at her.-

Orllof: BEGONE DEMON OF HELLFIRE! YOU WILL NOT TAKE MY SOUL TODAY!

-Deziree pulls out her pocket ice beam and blasts the crazed man in the face.-

Deziree: Well, you are... kinda close to what I expected.

-Deziree gets up, and her glasses fall off her face, the frame broken from the impact of the door.-

Deziree: Oh, dammit!

-She squints away the blurriness as she digs into her backpack for her extra pair. The crazed man can only watch as the SHE DEVIL TEMPTS HIM WITH HER LANGUID MOVEMENTS!-

-The wave washes over both the Salazzle and Salandit, and they each fire another Flame Burst, hoping to take her out along with the growing poison-

-Both of the bursts hit Tsunami and she enters a blood rage as her Torrent kicks in.-

Tsunami: <YOU WILL NOT DEFEAT ME!>

-She aims a Hydro Pump directly at the Salazzle, a fury in her eyes.-

-Slliuq and Chum are swimming on the water with a recently hatched Qwilfish-

Slliuq: <Sdipar, huh, siht fo gnah eht gnitteg yllaer er'uoy?>

Rapids: <Qwil!>

Chum: <Just you wait, soon she'll be a valuable member of our crew.>

Slliuq: <Taht ediced ew erofeb redlo tib a steg ehs litnu tiaw s'tel, hu...>

-Rapids keeps swimming and bumps into a Finneon-

Finneon: <Hey, watch it, kid.>

Rapids: <Qwil...>

-He swims back to Slliuq and Chum-

-The Salazzle can't take another hit and collapses from the Torrent-amped up Hydro Pump-

-The Salandit, still standing, shoots another Flame Burst-

-She is recalled before she finishes her sentence, and Shaun tosses out Japser's ball on a whim.-

Jasper: <What now? Oh, you're fighting. Need me to do your dirty work?>

Shaun: "You could just let yourself get hit."

Jasper: <Fiiiiiine.>

-He uses Bite.-

-With that the Salandit goes down-

Kiawe: "Ha, congratulations! You just cleared the Fire Trial!"

Kaisei: "Congrats, Shaun and Jasper!"

-He offers it to Shaun-

-He begins with the standard Z Pose, prior to doing a lifting motion twice with his arms, then holding onto one hand as he moves it forward-

Lana: There's a strange splashing here... I want you to investigate.

He begins to remove his shirt.
