So, we find you once again defeated by humans and females in general, just the sort of thing you utterly despise. Only thing that's missing is Tracer to send my dagger through your spine and render you a quadriplegic. Though with your injuries I don't think you'd survive the night even with our best veterinarians if this had happened the first time.

Lanius (?): -Looking up at the group with defiance and, surprisingly, lets out laughter- <As I told you, violence sets people free, in ways they don't often understand. Look at all your actions during this battle, and you'll know it to be true.>

-Stares at Lanius for a couple seconds before responding-

You know, your entire philosophy is based on the strong taking from, enslaving, and murdering the weak, just because they can. But that's wrong, humans and Pokémon have worth past how good they are at fighting.

Draca: -Glaring- <The strong have a responsibility to protect the weak, or failing that, to at least not make things worse, even if that means using violence. We've learned that lesson more than once.>

Lanius (?): -Coughs- <So violence has set you all free.>

Yes, but not in the way you're thinking. Violence, even if necessary, lethal violence, has its place in keeping the strong from preying on the weak. It's not just senseless slaughter out of bloodlust and personal glory, like how you've used your power both here and in Angela.

-And I use my dagger to form a warhammer construct-

Honestly, I only regret that we didn't get to fight Napoleon instead, as he was even eviler than you, and the effect you had on the others. So I guess in the end violence does set people free...

-Eyes narrow as I raise the hammer-

...Free from people like you!

-And brings the hammer directly down on Lanius' head, smashing him into Glitch particles-

And so my part in this Boss Rush is over. Thoughts on this whole thing?

Daydre pokes her head out from behind the rock shield. She winces a little as Tagg smashes Lanius into particles, but she really doesn't feel much guilt over the Samurott's (sort of) death.

Both parts were great, but this one was just an absolute blast, and as a related note Lanius's theme was my favorite peice Bitters did for this boss rush (aside from the Penumbra remix, toward which I am obviously biased.)

Nico: Wait, seriously? I thought your Rayquaza aspect did that in, aside from the whole Star Wars shebang.

I certainly liked it. Like I said earlier, Lanius was really cathartic.

Umbra: I'm glad you liked March of the Butcher~ I'll give download links to all of them after the Boss Rush is finished, because that one in particular is excellent for power-walking along with. :P

-The group fades into a room filled with machines and electronics. A single man with long green hair, dressed in a cloak that seems to resemble a castle has his back turned away from everyone, and is simply typing something into a computer at the back of the room.-

-Aurics in the room will notice that their Aura Sense is effectively overloaded.-

-Something is wrong here. Even more wrong than usual. This isn't how things should have been.-

Unfortunately I need sleep, so anything further will wait until tomorrow.

You could, but by my next post it would be significantly less meaningful anyway because of what I'm planning :P
