Ren: Great first a Thordan and The Knights of the Round knockoff, now we have to Face Ascian Prime. -dryly- Anyone bring some white auracite?

-Mendel eye is twitching due to all the physics being broken by the tech.-

-Ren closes his eyes and sighs at the sight of Verax's armor.-

Ren: I really can't say I appreciate seeing that infernal armor style again... But I'm assuming Verax has his reasons...

Jacob: "Ah, back here."

"Wait, can we just shoot down the blimp?"

-The door opens and a hot dusty wind kicks over the group-

-A heat haze breaks to reveal the group in the bottom of a trench, and above the trench is the ruined, seemingly bombed out remains of Pyrite Town-

Verax: -He takes a deep breath and pulls out his stun staff, conjuring Take-Mikazuchi- "..."

Jacob: "... Well, we can't wait forever. Mendel, what does the scanner say about this places' danger level?"

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

CU, Delta Quadrant

Positron: [A BLIMP?! That's not a BLIMP you troglodyte! THAT is a masterly crafted self-sustaining aether-propelled rigid airship crafted with more sheets of titanium-adamant alloy than is theoretically possible on the planet, you mother-]

Neutron: [What my companion MEANS to say is that no, firing on the Flagship is not a feasible plan. Unfortunately, the Phantom fried the teleporter sending you to... wherever you ended up. Oh, and you apparently brought companianianians ohmygoshit'shim]

Positron: [Wait what OH! HI DUNE!]

Neutron: [Dune, may I schedule thirty minutes of cuddle time with you at a later date?]

Galvani: <BACK OFF HE'S MINE!>

Positron: [No fair, you get him ALL the time!]

-Meanwhile, people can probably see a red flare shoot off of the Flagship and fly straight at them, approaching rather quickly.-

-Dune and Galvani look around. Galvani starts feeling very uncomfortable with the sheer sweltering heat.-

CU - ???

-Joseph exhales through his nose, loudly-

Joseph: Back in Orre. And I had just re-solidified...

-beat-

-After a few moments Mendel continues.-

Mendel: As for enemy scans I just have one demon on my scanners. It seems to be really strong too.

Ren: Right then...

-With a swing of his cane, Ren summons Abe no Semei, who seems to provide Ren with resistance to the ambient heat of the area.-

Ren: -suddenly feeling cooler- And this is a great perk of having a Persona that resists Fire...

CU - Delta Quadrant

Jacob: "Never mind that you're all the same being-"

-He squints- "Something looks like it came out of that blimp."

"..."

"EVERYONE BRACE FOR IMPACT?" -He has Shiva throw up a protect-

CU - Pyrite

Verax: "Well, it's not going to go slay itself. Let's get going."

-He leads the group up the trenches, and out towards the desert, which has several craters, and in the distance, atop a hill, is a single centaur-esque creature, with a black-steel gray body, the lower half of a Rapidash and the upper half of an Armortomb-

"... Just one? So what. We've got the numbers and heavy hitters on our side."

-Joseph shakes his head-

-Abe no Sei raises a Protect that rather than creating a sphere, creates a large circular shield in from of him that can guard two or thee other humans aside from Ren.-

-Mendel, being stuck behind a Barricade near the entrance, chimes in through the accessories.-

Mendel: Got a Name and typing, but not anything else. It's an Ironclad Myrmidon and has Dark/Steel typing. Good luck everyone.

Ren -to Lane- Shall we take the lead?

-Abe No Seimei shaku ignites with a mystic blue flame.-

Positron: [IT'S NOT A BLIMP STOP CALLING IT A-]

Neutron: [WAIT! Scans coming in!]

-The size of the flare grows, and grows, and grows, bigger, and bigger, and bigger...-

Phantom: WE'LL JUST KILL YOU ALL NOOOOOOOOW!

-Blue ice and yellow lightning radiate from the red, now-supermassive Phantom Gengar.-

W A R N I N G 警告 死 接近 The big enemy is approaching at full throttle. According to the data, it is identified as "Desperate Phantom" NO REFUGE

Neutron: [Positron! We need to do it, NOW!]

Positron: [Right!]

-The Desperate Phantom fires down blades of ice and bolts of lightning in crossing paths. It is impossible to dodge or guard against it all... except everyone is now covered in a blue shield. The ice bounces off harmlessly, but the lightning does not.-

Neutron: [We can only block one type of damage at a time! Be sure to let us know which type you want blocked!]

Positron: [And PLEASE beat this thing quick! We can't do this forever!]

CU, Burning Pyrite

Dune: You hold back for now, Gal. I've got this. Siegfried!

-The scale-armored Drilbur appears, his blue eyes glowing.-

Jacob: -He holds out his hand as Shiva throws up another Protect to protect himself and the people behind him- "Give me a lightning barrier. Shiva's rather rigorous defense will hold up for a while, so anyone needing protection can get behind me for a moment."

-He calls out to the Phantom- "HEY! Go back to your blimp!!"

CU - Burning Pyrite

-As soon as the contractors start to approach, the Myrmidon rears back and roars, pointing down at the party-

-There's a loud rumble as a veritable ocean of Shadows swarms down from over the hill, clouds of Black Ravens soar above, Slipping Hableries, Grave Beetles, and Mythical Gigas charging down, with three or four Raindrop Castles in the ocean-

-Above it all, the Myrmidon watches, standing atop its hill-

Verax: ".... That's a lot of Shadows."

Jacob: -He sighs and calls forth Shiva- "Crush the weak."

-Shiva roars in compliance, and calls down a Rock Slide on many of the Ravens-

-Joseph's eyes widen at the horde of Shadows-

Joseph: OK, then. Ah, Lin?

-Lin Bu appears, the Roserade 'sona attacking the Slipping Hableries with a massive supply of Razor Leaves-

Desperate Phantom: IT'S NOT A BLIIIIIIMP!

-The giant Gengar fires a blue-tinged Hyper Beam at Jacob.-

Positron: [OH CRAP MY SHIELD WON'T BLOCK THAT]

Neutron: [I'm on it!]

-Jacob's shield switches to blue, and the beam only takes out a massive amount of earth around him.-

Positron: [Since when could they use non-ice or electric moves?!]

Neutron: [I don't know, but we can still block them if they're shot with the proper marker.]

-Dune summons his newly-acquired Persona. The Drilbur hones his claws.-

CU, Burning Pyrite

Galvani: <Uh, Dune->

Dune: You're our second line, Gal. Just hold on a bit.

-Siegfried hones his claws while the enemy army approaches.-

CU, Delta Quadrant

-Mendel scans the Phantom and makes a O.o face.-

Mendel: This thing is a freak! It has triple typing! It's a Ghost/Ice/Electric type with Mold Breaker!

Ren: Then torch it, ground it, spook it, and blacken it!

-Abe no Seimei blows a stream of Mystic Fire at the Phantom.-

CU- Nuked Pyrite

Ren: It's more of StarCraft. This is a Zerg Rush after all.

-Abe no Seimei looses a Heat Wave.-

Jacob: .-. "... Well now I have their attention. Wanna focus on burning it down?"

-Lin Bu's razor leaves cleave through a large swathe of Hableries, though quickly more fill in the gaps-

-The Heatwave incinerates many of the Beetles and Gigas, though the wave of enemies pours down and crashes into the party-

-Take-Mikazuchi throws Shockwave after Shockwave at the enemy-

-Shiva continues to try and downing the ravens, which are divebombing the group-

-The Myrmidon raises its arm, and a shimmering barrier of light covers all the Shadows-

Jacob: "Wait, what just happened?"

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

CU-Nuked Pyrite

Mendel: That was a Light Screen. Anyone have Brick Break?

-Ren rather than renewing the attack wills Abe no Seimei to cast a shining protective charm that gleams over all the contavtors and their Personas and Pokesonas like a emerald barrier that blocks status.-

CU, Delta Quadrant

Desperate Phantom: YOU FOOL! You wasted all your energy in one attack! I don't see YOU doing any better! Fine, then WATCH!

-The Phantom launches a barrage of Shadow Orbs, at least two dozen, in a shotgun-like spread. The other hand fires a relatively week Icy Wind that covers the group and ices the ground.-

Dune: Uh oh! Blue! Blue!

-Dune's shield goes blue as the and Siegfried desperately dodge the Shadow Orbs, though Dune takes one to the leg and goes stumbling at the end of the attack.-

-The Phantom is hit by the Mystic Fire, reducing the power of the Blue attacks. The Yellow attacks remain unaffected, however.-

Desperate Phantom: You will PAY FOR THAT!

CU, Burning Pyrite

Dune: On it.

-Siegfried takes a running start before pulling a sword from his back with his mouth and cleaving into the Light Barrier blade-first.-

Ren: -at the Shadow- I'm already being forced to listen to your incessant, childish bickering in a form you're grossly misrepresenting. Knocking me out would be doing me a favor so I don't have to watch this farce.

-Abe no Seimei smirks as it blows another Mystical Fire as Ren snarks.-

Mendel: Got some new intel on this thing! The Phantom actually has three stat spreads. One for Juno, One for Rajin, and one for when they work together. I'm guessing they also have different movesets for whichever is in charge.

CU - Burning Pyrite

-The Light Screen is shattered, and the Ironclad Myrmidon leers at Siegfried, and seems to become more sluggish as suddenly the sword it's holding sharpens and its muscles pulse with power-

-Lin Bu clears out a large section of Hableries, their numbers dwindling-

-Several Gigas rush in at Siegfried and punch at it-

-A few ravens swoop down at Abe no Seimei and Lin Bu-

Jacob: "Alright we're out numbered, we need to thin them out a little bit."

-He sends Shiva straight into the depths of the fray, taking moderate damage from the strikes, before exploding into a radiant shower of metal shards, wiping out a large number of enemies-
