Steven A: -eyes widen- That's... That's impossible. No one's seen Arceus or the Jewel in nearly 3000 years. They both dissapeared after a meteor impact caused by the Skybreak.
Steven 1: Skybreak?
Steven A: ...Right, alternate universe. Where I come from the Skybreak was an event caused by the firing of the Ultimate Weapon; it caused cracks in the sky that disrupted the planet's climate, drew meteors to the planet for a couple millenia or so after, and reduced most of Kalos and the surrounding areas to an Orre-esqe wasteland until one of AZ's descendants restored it.
-Gilgamesh raises an eyebrow at the last bit-
Steven 1: That... Is concerning. But if that's the Jewel, then what do you want us to analyze about it in relation?

-Suddenly, there are about fifteen more Defense Drones.-

-They fly back, and appear to be moving into a lattice-work formation. One of them goes *clunk* as it's hit with an Extrasensory.-
Positron: [Uh oh! Looks like they've identified you as a threat!]
Neutron: [It appears you will need to do battle while still making time to the ground at Delta Quadrant. The Defense Drones do not have jurisdiction on the subcontinents, and will break pursuit once you're in the Delta airspace.]
-Galvani summons Yurlungur... and is then hit with a realization.-
Galvani: ... <Holy crap I can't actually do much of anything to Steel types.>
Positron: [You think you can get a return on that rental Persona?]

-the door opens, and Wilhelm is met with his partner. She's a fairly short young woman, with pale skin, rather messy blonde hair, and a brilliant blue eye. That's a singular eye; her left eye is covered in a black eyepatch. She tilts her head at Wilhelm-
Kirsten: Well, you sure look like someone the spider lady would hire. Who're you?
-With a horde of Hableries now between the group and himself, Shadow Ren returns his attention to his host, who is looking daggers at his shadow.-
Shadow Ren: Oh come now, you won't be sad to see most of them kick the bucket. I mean after seeing some of their shadows, you've started doing what you've done since you were three.
Ren: -confused- What are you talking about?
Shadow Ren: -smirking- Of course you don't know. You've been doing it for so long you do it unconsciously now.
Ren: Either say what you mean or move on. The vague way you're talking isn't convincing me you're my shadow.
Shadow Ren: Hmph. You've forced yourself into being the way others see you so it'll be less painful when expectations aren't met... And maybe even part ways forever... Really, you're so hypocritical. You want to form true bonds with others but you refuse to open up to them about the stuff they need to hear about. So instead you cover it up by showing them what you think they expect to see.
-ticking points off on his fingers-

Seriously. -With a sickening thwack, the sound of a swinging blade, and the clattering of breaking glasses, Ren and Izanagi stand over a bent over Shadow Ren. Ren's eyes now full of anger and hatred while holding his cane that now has a fresh red stain on the golden fritz handle raised to bring it down again. Even while bent over from Ren's and Izanagi's attacks and his glasses lying broken on the floor and his forehead bleeding, Shadow Ren face is slightly obscured by his now disheveled hair as Izanagi points spear-glaive at him. But that grin that visible on Shadow Ren's face can't mean anything good.-
Ren: Gal, need I remind you, you control a rain bringer! Make it rain then Aqua Tail them to oblivion! Or spit mud at them! I know Ekans learn some sort of Ground-type move!

(The grimace fades, replaced by the sly grin that has become his default expression. He idly brushes at a loose hair, going over it until it aligns perfectly with the rest.)
