-She glaces a a black dress that, maybe with some modifications, looks awful similar to the one she was wearing back then-

Lucius smiles.

Lucius: Same... but all things considered, I think the good outweighs the bad.

Fight Area Hospital

Tara looks at Des for several seconds before shaking her head.

Tara: ...Thanks, but no thanks.

Dani: What? Why not?!

Tara: I dunno, maybe the fact that you can't even walk at the moment?

Dani: So? Let's hear what he has to say, at least! Jeez, when did you become such a freaking downer?

Tara: Gee, I wonder. Could it have been that moment just a couple of days ago when our last boss tried to kill us? Earthwyrm might've been a moron, but at least we knew where we stood with him! I'm not about to trust some random stranger who wanders in here with an offer that sounds too good to be true, because the last time we did that, you nearly died!

She appears to be getting rather annoyed.

"That...is perfectly logical. Of course, I'm a complete stranger who dresses like he's homeless. There's no way I could relate to you two."

"It would be better if you two stuck around until your healed Ba...Bat..."

He looks at the folder.

"Batastrophy. Hmmm, quite the rep sheet both of you got. Almost as big as mine was."

Fight Area Hospital

Dani smiles, whilst Tara simply scowls and falls silent.

Dani: I take pride in my work~

-The blonde blushes slightly-

Tori: "You know I don't go for that kind of look... I always get the wrong kind of attention that way"

Hospital

He smiles at the cute scene in front of him. His smile slowly fades.

Darn. I haven't experienced somethin' like that in a while...

He puts on a fake smile and speaks again.

"Let me talk about myself for a second. I was in the exact same boat as you, though I didn't have the benefit of a companion like you two."

He pulls up a chair and sits on it in a non-standard fashion.

"I used to be a member of Team Rocket, For many years of my life I had no permanent address ;still don't nor was I able to stop moving. Always on the run, always worrying if I had to steal my next meal or steal the money that would pay for my next meal."

"But then I had a stroke of luck and a certain group of people saw value in my talents."

He holds up an Interpol Badge.

It says " 'Desmond Descartes', Spec. Ops. Consultant".

"I have the convenience of knowin' things a lot of people don't, and while my "name" doesn't carry much water I know many people whose names do."

Neo-Illusion HQ

(Wilhelm Voynich raises an eyebrow.)

Wilhelm: What? No wide-eyed panic? No stunned enquiry as to how I'm alive after our little fun session together? Not even any notice of my unusual behaviour?

(His voice is now rich and smooth, with a faint tinge of a [German] accent. Compared to the dry, featureless monotone of his old self, it's nearly unrecognisable.)

Wilhelm: Regardless, could you kindly refer to me as "Wilhelm"? "Wil" was an assumed name, if anything.

(He grins slyly.)

Wilhelm: It's gone now. Just like everything else I once was. And it's all thanks to you, Boucher.

-To Lucius and Kendall-

I wouldn't mind visiting Unova again after we're done with the Glitches, would make a nice pitstop on the way to Alola.

Fight Area

Lucius raises an eyebrow.

Lucius: Aloha?

Dani's smile fades, and for the first time she looks almost sombre.

Dani: ...I didn't always have Tara.

Tara: You'll understand if we're not particularly inclined to trust Interpol at the moment.

Dani is now completely silent, with a look in her eyes that suggests she's drudging up unpleasant memories. Tara frowns.

Tara: ...A few years back. I looked out for her when no-one else would. She did the same for me. That enough for you?

Tori: "Well, that's true..."

-Tint-

-Alys frowns, taking an apple from her fruit bowl and setting it on the table. As she begins to peel at it with a small knife, it's clear that it's a real apple, rather than fake-

Alys: Very well, Wilhelm. Your apparently newly fragile ego will be happy to know that I did notice your differences. Being driven insane tends to come with some personality changes, after all.

-she smiles-

Alys: Were you expecting me to forget about you, Wil? I didn't.

-she tosses a bit of apple skin to the side; her Talonflame, perched on a bookshelf, catches it and eats it-

Alys: I didn't obsess over you, either. Sometimes I was in the middle of paperwork or something like that, and a thought came to me:

-she taps a finger to her chin, in mock thought-

Alys: "I wonder what Wilhelm's up to?''

-she smiles again-

Alys: But then I'd get distracted again. Now...

-she points to a chair across from her-

Alys: Since I know you're aching to tell me, go ahead. How did we get here?

-Tex walks into the hospital room, and notices Des was already in there. He remains silent, listening to the conversation-

Des looks down at his folder.

He was going to make notes but all he had accomplished was a sketch of a Gible.

I need to catch a Gible...

"I think I can get a lot from a little..."

He stands up.

"Well, thank you for your time. I bid you a speedy recovery."

He turns to the door and grabs the handle.

"Y'know, you've found yourself amongst a very eclectic group. There's others like me, like us here. It wouldn't hurt to get a few brownie points, or open up to them at the very least."

He walks out.

Those two totes have the hots for each other....

He notices Tex.

"Hey, you. You're the officer, correct?"

Human!Kendall:' I'm wondering if I can say the same... But glad you can.

You know, Alola? Volcanic island chain in the [West Pacific] Though from our perspective it would be the east, really popular vacation spot for people from around here?
