-Cid taps his foot against the slimy, algae covered concrete. A small dingy turns a far-off corner and approaches. Cid watches the boat close in, and air of mild irritation mingling around him along with the smells best left undescribed.-
Cid: You're late.
-A mousy young man pushes his glasses up the ridge of his nose as he pushes himself off the boat onto the concrete landing.-
Quartermaster: Apologies, sir. The Monsiour Charlemagne was in the middle of a surprise quarters inspection. Thankfully, there was ample evidence of an imminent storm that I convinced the captain to call it short so I may not be delayed further.
-Cid arches an eyebrow.-

Zed: I was shipping gray market Pokeballs from Canalave to the Orange Islands. Charlemagne boarded my ship as we took a detour around Oblivia. He wore a different outfit, then. Dark gray and green.
-Cid cocks his head.-
Cid: Pinchers?
-Zed nods.-
Zed: He commandeered my ship and took me captive. He used me as a way of putting up a "legitimate" front to his smuggling business, eventually letting me to my own devices when he learned how good I am at numbers. At this point, he's forgotten I was ever a captive at all.
-Cid remains silent for a moment as he mulls something over.-
Cid: ... What is that boat to you?
Zed: It is the last remaining legacy I have of my grandmother.
-Cid nods. He rubs the stubble on his chin.-
Cid: ... It was the Gyarados incident that incited this, wasn't it?
-Zed's shoulders tense enough to cause Cid pause. The younger man eventually nods, stiffly.-
Cid: ... Remove his power base. Sour his outside contacts and get whispers going in the crew. We don't want a fight that will damage the ship.
-For the first time as long as Cid's known the young man, Zed smiles.-

-At some point during the fight, Audra had taken the leadership role, and was barking out commands left and right. Only ceasing in her commands to yell at Verigan when he stopped to look at the dragon.-
Audra: <I SWEAR TO ARCEUS VERIGAN, IF YOU SO MUCH AS TRY TO SLAY THE DRAGON, I WILL BREAK YOUR SWORD OVER YOUR EMPTY HEAD!!! NOW GET BACK TO USING FAIRY WIND!!!>
-Verigan wisely decided to go right back to using Fairy Wind. Ralli and Kiaran flanked him and sucker punched any ghosts that got too near. Barclay struck down with Crunch all the ghosts imprisioned by Ashley. Audra... well she was a yelling beacon of literal electricity that zapped anything that got too close. As the fight wore on, the ghosts gradually began to realize that they were fighting a loosing battle, and the numbers started to thin out.-
-Meanwhile outside the Old Chateau-
-The haunter knocked on the door, which soon opened of its' own accord. Dragging the girl inside, the Haunter didn't even flinch as the door slammed shut and locked itself. If anyone were to see the outside, they would have sworn that it shuddered.-
?????: I got one. Will she do?
-The voice that answered seemed to come from everywhere. It's voice seemed distorted and erratically rose and fell in pitch and tone.-

-Tomahawk catches the berry in his beak, takes a moment to eat it the flies over the group of Phaz and Ark's mon to Shadow Claw at some of the ghost-types before they all leave-
