-Ren swings his cane causing Izanagi to soar through the air to try to deliver a severely damaging slash with his spear-glaive.-

Mendel: -wincing in pain- Time to go back to basics.

-Mendel has Pythagoras fire a Heal Pulse at Yurlungr.-

-Ark glanced at Blitz before simply turning her gaze back to surveying the area.-

-Ark practically threw herself into the tall grass as soon as the group got out of the city-

Ark: <Just.... give me a minute.>

-Shadow!SleepyHead is struck by the further attacks, but seems to still be kicking-

-She first shoots a Focus Blast at Izanagi, then coughs out a Poison Gas which spreads across the field-

-Seiten Taisei breaths in the poison, causing both him and Dune to instantly sober up and start coughing like crazy.-

-Galvani and Yurlungur, on the other hand...-

Galvani: <You can't poison a robot, stupid!>

-Yurlungur slithers up to Shadow!Sleepyhead and coils around them in a Wrap.-

CU, Plains

-Izanagi, still being fairy close to Shadow SleepyHead after using Double-Edge is struck in the Back by the Focus Blast.-

Ren and Izanagi: GAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

-Izanagi's form becomes staticy before exploding like a stained glass statue.-

-Ren falls to ground unconscious and lands on his side next to Pythagoras, all his stamina spent with Izanagi's defeat as the poison gas creeps through the group.-

Mendel: Mr. Clavis!

-In a panic Mendel will Pythagoras to activate Magic Coat, but in a shocking development, the magic coat expands outwards into a shiny yellow glass-like dome protecting not only Mendel and Pythagoras, but any who happen to be near them. Any of the gas that comes into contact with the dome is immediately redirected right back into the face of Shadow SleepyHead.-

-Take-Mikazuchi flexes and zaps the shadow with a Hidden Power-

Jacob: -Is reclined on a bed, with a variety of items he procured while at PEFE and on his short trip to Black City sprawled around him as he looks up and thinks about the future and slowly passes off into sleep-

-Lisa and SleepyHead take in the gas as well, they and their Personas getting poisoned, adding to them both already being weak from the Dazzling Gleam-

Lisa: <Well...> -coughs- <If we're doing that...>

-Titan aims a Drain Punch at the Shadow-

SleepyHead: <Ngh...>

<...Guess I'll have to do this!>

-Camazotz sends out a Hurricane at SleepyHead's Shadow Self-

-The attacks fly at Shadow!SleepyHead and she's starting to look a bit fatigued-

-The gas that flies back at her, however is just stopped by her Safeguard-

Shadow!SleepyHead: <Hm, how about this?>

-She launches a Shadow Ball of her own at Pyro Jack, then shoots another Focus Blast at Matador-

-The sudden turn in the tide from the gas cloud puts both Dune and Galvani on edge.-

Galvani: <Okay, if we can't poison him... Yurlungur!>

-The copper snake, still Wrapped, Coils itself tighter and tighter to enhance it's own attack, defense, and accuracy. Dune coughs as he feels the battle taking its toll on him, hematoma on his forehead notwithstanding.-

Dune: Damn, Ren's out. Looks like we're getting close, too.

-The now-sober Seiten Taisei, however, has a look about him that he hasn't shown before. Anger.-

Seiten Taisei: Hero is he alone who vies with powers supreme!

-Seiten leaps onto the coiled Shadow/Yurlungur mass and starts throwing flaming punches into the Shadow's exposed face again and again.-

-Pyro Jack is hit and stumbles back, weakening-

Jacob: -Grits his teeth- "Okay, time to nip this in the bud. Mendel, make sure I don't die."

-He leers up at the Shadow and braces himself- "Pyro Jack..."

-The Pokesona laughs as it dissolves for seemingly no reason, Jacob falling to his knees, gasping in pain-

Verax: "... Uhhhhhhhhmmmm what just happened?? Jacob???"

-His attention split, he focuses back on Shadow!SleepyHead and has Take-Mikazuchi hurl another Bonemerang-

-Shadow!SleepyHead would feel an odd sensation of malice as the Curse Pyro Jack laid on her creeps into effect-

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

-Mendel nods at Jacob as he and Pyro Jack are bathed in the light of a Heal Pulse.-

-Ren is still out although his close proximity to Mendel at least grants him some protection.-

-And to make the situation more dire, Mendel's Reflect fades.-

CU, Plains

Arahabaki takes this opportunity to set up another Reflect, though it and Daydre are starting to look rather worn..

-Layed there for a moment before opening her eyes and saying.-

Ark: <Grass to the left, next to the tree. Kiaran, use Pursuit.>

-Kiaran dashed off without hesitation into the grass and with a rustle vanished into the underbrush-

?????: <OW OW OW! This isn't any way to treat a lady ya know!>

-Kiaran dragged back out a female Shinx that Ark promptly bopped on the head with a pokeball.-

Verigan: <You did not even give the fair maiden a chance to explain herself!>

Ralli: <Y'know that's not how Ark rolls."

Barclay: <At least Ark didn't punch the lass in the face this time.>

-Ark released the now rather cross Shinx after the pokeball clicked.-

Ark: <Why were you following us.>

-The Shinx jumped a bit-

?????: <Have you 'seen' yourself! Plus you looked so jumpy like you were trying to hide something!>

-Ark tilts her head looking confused before looking at herself and her raggy clothes.-

Barclay: <Psst. Don't bother. It's better to give in rather then fight it. Ark may be a complete weirdo, but it's hilarious to push her buttons.>
