-Beldam is pacing rapidly, Marilyn hovering just a few feet away-

Marilyn: <Guh...>

Beldam: <I know! I know... our father is gone for good...>

-She slumps over a bench-

Beldam: <I have nothing left to do...>

???: <Sisters...?>

-Vivian phases up through the ground nearby. Beldam whips around.-

Beldam: <Vivian!>

Vivian: <Beldam...>

-Beldam tries to glare at Vivian... but her expression falls and she looks down in shame.-

Beldam: <...Are you... happy now?>

Vivian: <Happier than I've been in centuries, at least, no thanks to you.>

Beldam: <...>

-She sighs-

Beldam: <...I'm... sorry.>

Vivian: <I can't forgive you, sis. Not after years of "punishment". However... I do want to fix things with you. I know someone who might want you around.>

Beldam: <What?>

Mossdeep

Vierr: What.

Vivian: <What?>

Alyssa: <What?>

Vierr: Are you seriously telling me that your entire game got dragged into real life?

Beldam: <What game?>

Diane: Hey, we've already known Doopliss, haven't we? He seems like the real deal.

Vivian: <Actually... there was kinda... two different Dooplisses?>

Skye: Are you seriously telling me there was a duplicate of Doopliss?

Vierr: You've got to be kidding me.

Beldam: <You still haven't answered me, half-wit— >

-She's hit on the back of the head with an Ember.-

Vivian: <Beldam.>

-Beldam grumbles-

Beldam: <...You still haven't answered me, sir. What game were you talking about?>

Vierr: Honestly, if you're gonna react like Gameboy did, I'm not particularly keen on answering that.

Beldam: <Tell me, or I'll—>

Vivian: <Beldam!>

Beldam: <...Fine. I shall find out on my own time.>

Diane: Just look up Paper Mario and you'll probably find something.

Beldam: <...Very well.>

Diane: So why are you guys here, anyway?

Vivian: <O-oh, right!>

-She quickly gives Vierr a pair of Dusk Balls, then points to her sisters and retreats to near Alyssa. Vierr blinks, then shrugs.-

Marilyn: <Guh...>

Beldam: <What are those balls you're— >

-Vivian sighs in relief-

Vivian: <Make sure they don't get out of hand, okay?>

Vierr: Got it.

Vivian: <Good...>

-She turns to Alyssa-

Vivian: <S-so, uh... can I stay with you?>

-Alyssa gives Vivian a smile-

Alyssa: <Of course you can, Viv~>

-Skye and Diane both blink-

Skye: Wasn't she scared of Fire-types?

Diane: Not Vivian, apparently.

-Vivian sighs in relief-

Vivian: <Thank you!>

-Alyssa smiles and hugs Vivian. Vierr just sorta watches, then awkwardly shuffles away.-

Fortis: What's your favorite color? Is it pink?

Noelle: Do you want more of a pastel shade like mine, or hot pink?

Dress Store

Joseph: Well, my favorite colors are the warm colors. But red's a little too attention grabbing, yellow's a bit too old-lady, and...I don't think anyone's looked good in an orange dress.

-looks to Noelle-

Joseph: Pastel, definitely! I love pastels~

Dress Store

Noelle: Okay! Let's start looking then~

Fortis: I dunno! I bought Forte a red dress one time and he liked it!

Dress Store

Joseph: But Forte's also...well, it doesn't matter. Let's see~

-he looks about for pinks, keeping an eye out for certain shades of red and yellow-

-The group may notice another boy nearby, browsing for another dress of his own. As of right now, he's wearing jeans and a black coat, as well as black gloves with a strange vaguely purple glow to them. And, of course, a black hat with a tear in the side.-

Joseph: Odd question, but what shade would you say this yellow is?

-holds up a dress-

Joseph: I love the color yellow in general, but I don't wanna look like a [banana].

-The boy picks out a dress, then is interrupted by Joseph-

Kieran: Oh?

-He turns to look at Joseph-

Kieran: Oh, hey, Joseph... it's been a while.

-He looks at the dress-

Kieran: Hm... well, I can't say I'm particularly good with pastels, but maybe choose something a shade or two paler?

-Joseph blinks before grinning wiiiiiidely-

Joseph: Oh! Eskay! Hi! I-uh-

-isn't sure whether to hug or not-

Joseph: Well, thank you! Are you...uh, dress shopping too?

Dress Shop

-Kieran smiles.-

Kieran: Yeah, I am. And, uh... i-it's Kieran now. I changed my name after the... uh... yeah.

-Joseph might notice he looks somewhat sickly-pale, but is trying his best to look healthy despite it-

Joseph: Oh! OK, then! Hi, Kie-

-notices the pale skin-

Joseph: Something wrong? You look as pale as me!

Dress Shop

Fortis: Oh hi mister Eskay! I haven't seen you in a while!

Noelle: Did something happen to you?

Dress Shop

Kieran: Oh, I've... just kinda had a rough couple of months. I-I'll be fine, don't worry.

-He pauses, grabs a dress of a lighter shade of yellow and hands it to Joseph-

Kieran: Maybe you could try this one?

Dress Shop

-Joseph nods-

Joseph: OK!

-turns to Fortis-

He's Kieran now! It's a cute name, I think it fits him! :3

-He turns toward the dress rack, switches the dress he'd been holding for a different one, and heads off toward the fitting room-

-Joseph brings his into the changing room as well-

-let him figure out how to put the dress on, first-

-A couple minutes later, Kieran comes out looking something like this-

Kieran: So, what do you think~?

Dress Store

-after a few minutes, Joseph emerges in a somewhat more broad-shouldered version of this◊-

Joseph: Do I look OK...?

Dress Store

Fortis: Uh huh!

Noelle: You both look great!

Dress Store

-Joseph observes Kieran and widens his eyes-

Joseph: I...uh...oh...

-he's blushing a fair bit-
