"... Uhh.. Okay I guess.." She turns to Duke and Aline again.

"Well, I have to go somewhere. See you later"

-after a long day apart, Joe and Munn are back together in their room-

Munn: You OK, hon?

-Joseph, who has made himself comfortable curled up in a lot of blankets, nods-

Joseph: Yeah...it's weird. I've been feeling a little down lately, and I'm not sure why.

Munn: Well, everyone feels down! It's more unusual to be happy all the time than to be sad sometimes.

Joseph: -sighs- Guess you're right. Just feel like I'm disappointing people by not being in a good mood, so...well, that's why I haven't been doing much lately.

-Munn gives a little grin and takes Joseph's chin in his hand-

Munn: Joe. Honey. You ain't disappointing people. You don't have to be a crazy hyper sweetheart to everyone if you don't want to.

-the white-haired boy returns the small grin and flomps his head down on the pillow-

Joseph: So, what're we doing for Thanksgiving?

-his smile grows wider as he mentions the holiday; Munn's enthusiasm is more restrained-

Munn: I dunno. Your parents? Maybe Ren's doing a thing?

-Joseph frowns-

Joseph: What's wrong? Don't you like Thanksgiving?

Munn: Well...isn't it just romanticizing the relationship between the white settlers and the Native Unovans? Like, that's not a good thing. You shouldn't just glance over genocide so you have an excuse to eat everything you can and claim you're doing it to give "thanks".

-Joseph sits up in bed-

Joseph: Please don't say "you" like that. I've been thinking a lot about this lately, actually. I don't like how people romanticize the whole settlers and Native Unovan thing, and I don't like how a lot of people seem to just use it as an excuse to eat rather than give thanks. But at the same time...I like the parade! I like eating with my family and friends and talking and having fun and watching football and feeling the autumn air and thinking about Christmas coming. You know? You can't just get rid of nostalgia.

-he gives a bit of a huff-

Joseph: Sorry. I just need to find a way to get around it without feeling like a terrible person...

-Munn places a hand on Joseph's shoulder, squeezing gently-

Munn: You're not a terrible person. You do care about other people, and you recognize how good you have it, and you realize that you should never take things for granted. There are a lot of other people that you can't say that about, you know.

-Joseph gives a bashful little smile-

Joseph: Thanks, I guess...

-slides under the covers-

Joseph: Night, sweetie.

Munn: Night, sugar.

-a beat-

Munn: By the way, I'm part Native Orrean.

Joseph: Mmmm? That right?

Munn: Yeah. [Hopi].

Joseph: Good to know...

-he nuzzles up and shuts his eyes-

-There is an attendant waiting inside for whoever came-

Robin: Erm, we're here to see Steven Stone?

Jacob: It's about that one particular asteroid problem. The particular asteroid problem that's going to hit the planet and kill everyone any day now.

E-Bird: <Hey, maybe you should follow the attendant, boss?>

Sholto: <Oh, yeah, right.>

Wirrbelle: <Very well.>

-The three of them follow those following the attendant-

Mendel: -To Sholto's group- A Cleffa-line colony at Mt. Moon gave us this when they heard about the meteor.

-Mendel tries to get Cozmo's attention-

Mendel: Excuse me, Professor! This bag is getting a bit heavy...

-Fortunately for Mendel, Rio takes the bag from him.-

Mendel: -massaging his arm- Thank you, Rio.

Ren: -holding up his two shards for Cozmo- At your service. We heard you needed as many of these as you could get.

-Tori managed to get here with her Sandslash and what she hopes is a single meteor shard in her hand, and followed the others upstairs-

"I wonder when they're going to show up. Been here in Hoenn is fun and all, but I still need to do blog work and I still haven't gotten to ask questions to any of the Aura users in this team..." she sighed "Though I should have enough on lycanthropy, at least."

Silas leaves his hotel, still stretching.

Silas: Another day. Another trip on our travels around the world.

Hacks: *crosses arms and looks at him tapping a foot*

Silas: ... What do you expect? I can't just ask them "hey can I join?".

Hacks: *narrows eyes*

Silas: ... Fine maybe I'll offer one a cup of coffee or something. I don't know why you are so insistent on this. Did Amber or Snakeye suggest this?

-After walking some more, the group eventually enters a more open, sort of serene area-

Slightly: <Eh, we'll deal with whatever it is when we run into it.>
