Maggie: "No. There are a lot of things along the way that have been different. The story's generally been the same, but... some things could turn out differently."

"That's what I've been hoping from the beginning. Even if I know it'll all work out in the end, that doesn't mean I want Squealer to get possessed if I can at all avoid it."

<I... don't know what to think of this, honestly.>

Maggie: "I don't blame you. Even if this is real life, it is weird to think of it as following the rules of a story."

"I mean... I got used to it through the TV Show and even when I was travelling, I still saw some ways with how things applied. Like how the J-Team always wins and how members never stay dead."

"I know Tagg is always telling me to be careful because there are things that could kill me."

"And I am, I could still get dangerously injured or something else bad happen to me, but..."

"I... have never gotten into anything J-Team related and thought 'I could die from this,' I guess I just don't think that way. I don't want to be disrespectful to Tagg and there have been some things that cast doubt on that, but..."

<I admit I don't know much of what to say about that or... all this... but, I trust you.>

<It's not like I can go back, anyway.>

"And if you're still unsure after all this..."

TEC: ...I was corrupted. That is why Sir Grodus wiped my memories.

Maggie: "...TEC. You were Squealer's friend. And I don't think that was a mistake."

"Do you have some sort of repository for large files or backup or something?"

I'm not sure what it could mean, though.

Maggie: "You sent me a text before your mind was wiped."

"The last line was 'Pull throguh.' I just realized it could refer to pulling files."

"You might be able to get your memories back from that."

TEC: I am uncertain.

Sir Grodus informed me said files were heavily corrupted.

Maggie: "Well, you don't have to if you're unsure."

"It's up to you, really."

"...Though, we should really get going. Think about it?"

-She and Kamdida head back to where the others are-

"Oh, you didn't know? Things happened and now Duke defaults to human, just like you or me. Now he needs the other armband if he wants to switch." explained Hikari

"Uh... Yeah. I can climb. Though I feel I don't have the same appreciation for scenery as you do."

Sarah: ...Weird... I didn't notice he didn't have it, I guess.

"He's a human most of the time so I guess you just got used to it and didn't see the difference." said Hikari

"So you're being mentored in how to use Aura by a former Lucario. I suppose it would be hard to find a better teacher than that." Marie smiled slightly.

Jacob: -Sighs and rolls his eyes- "I doubt that. Duke may be a Lucario but that doesn't make him an expert. He has natural talent but opposed to a human who's devoted their life to dedicated training I suppose he'd come up short. The one thing I don't like about Duke is how people talk about him like he's the best. Like he looks the best and is the kindest natured and the best with Aura and training. He's just any other person. He's not too special if you ask me, but that's me."

-He stands up- "Regardless I have some things I need to go get taken care of." -He bows and leaves-

Sarah: Maybe not the best ever, but certainly among the J-Team. I don't doubt that an Aura Guardian would be a better teacher, but it's not like they're around much anymore.

"Ah yes, the Aura Guardians..." said Marie, looking rather pensive

"The best ones with Aura here are Tagg and Duke, right? I can't think of anyone else who's on their level." said Hikari.

Sarah: Yeah, at least for Aura specifically. Umbra and Lina are better if you take Obscura into account, but for Fighting-type Aura specifically, Tagg and Duke are my best bet.
