-Mendel reopens the briefcase and digs through it for a moment before handing Shade blank form labeled "PEFE Application for Providing External Services".-

Mendel: I'm willing to offer you those positions for the rest of the duration of testing portion of this project. If you'd like this job, please fill out that form and sign it.

-Mendel places a pen on the form.-

Mendel: Once you do, I'll need to take a picture of you and send it and a copy of the form so the PEFE can run a background check on you to formalize your position as an external service provider.

-Mendel holds up his Holocaster.-

Mendel: However, please be aware that until your background check is completed and your application approved, your position will be tentative. Also note that you will not be considered as a formal member of the PEFE even if your position on this project is formalized.

-Sakura might hear Fletcha knocking at the door while Blitz puts a hand to his forehead as the message finishes-

"Wow, I'm surprised. After Hertz tells me you thought I was conducting corporate espionage, I thought you already had someone bring up a dossier on me the moment I walked through the door. However, that can be fixed later, I agree to your terms."

Shade signs the contract. He goes into his pocket, and pulls out his personal holocaster number.

"Here is my personal phone number that you may call me on regarding that background check. Anything else I can do for you?"

Decisions were made regrets were had.
