Sakura jumps a bit with the mental response, but just lets out a relieved sigh and a small smile.

"Fiesty girl. I remember back when she was new to the whole gym leader thing. She was so cute. Still tough as hell though. She was reportedly a lot better by the time I fought her... having adapted her own style."

-Shakes his head- "Didn't help me much. Granted I had a Pokémon back then that could hold off a Legendary by herself, so I guess everything was tilted in my favor..."
