<And I call dibs on... who tangled it?!> -he picks up a messy tangle of red yarn with bemusement-

-not expecting a ball of yarn to be thrown right at her, she's hit right in the face-

Celeste: <Ow... but thanks, though.>

-Fuego blushes-

Fuego: <Err... "fore"?>

-he loads the pink ball and an orange ball onto a spring-launcher-

Fuego: <OK, ready? And... thanks..?>

Celeste: <For giving me the pink one. It means a lot...>

-Celeste stretches, then stands in position-

Celeste: <Ready.>

Fuego: <Oh, sure.>

-he presses a switch, launching the yarn balls-

-Celeste hits both yarn balls into the air with her ribbons-

Fuego: -launches a taped-together-mess of red yarn, and hits it back into the air as it comes down-

<Ha!>

-Celeste tries to juggle both yarn balls, but drops the orange one-

-instead of picking it up again, she decides to try and keep the pink one in the air using her ribbons-

Orange Yarn Ball: -rolls away to pester Forte-

Fuego: -is having some issue managing the red tangle at this point, but is still keeping it in the air-

-sometimes having to resort to using his bone, though-

-suddenly...-

Giant Purple Yarn Ball: -materializes out of nowhere above the two childmons-

-Celeste tries to hit the big yarn ball with her ribbons-

Valentine is nervously walking around the city and just as she was about to cut a corner, she's suddenly faced with a Greninja

"<Hey, Valentine!>" said Teishi, cheerfully

"<GAH!> yelled the Audino as the surprise made her fall on her rear "<D-Don't scare me like that, Teishi!>" she nervously said.

"<S-Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.>" said Teishi, helping her back up.

"<It's okay.>" she then accepted his help to make her stand up again "<Thanks. Do you want something?>"

"<I was just wondering, what can you do? I never really saw a Pokémon of your species before, at least I don't think I did.>" said Teishi.

"<Oh, um... I guess I can heal mons and... Um... Can you crouch a little bit, you're kinda tall.>"

"<Oh, okay.>"

Teishi then crouched a bit so he wouldn't tower over Valentine as much. Valentine then took the opportunity to place her stethoscope-like ears on his chest, right over where his heart would be.

"<Um... What are you doing?>" Teishi asked, confused

"<You're very happy and full of energy, you're also feeling bored and confused.>" she then removed the extensions of her ears from his chest.

"<Huh? Yeah, I guess that's right. Did you figure that out by->"

Valetine nodded, with a sweet smile on her face "<I can tell how you're feeling by listening to your heartbeat.>"

"<Wow, that's really nice! Sakura can read feelings as well, but it's more like she senses them. You literally listen to someone's heart, that's really cool!>" Teishi was looking quite excited at this point.

"<Y-You really think so...?>" Valentine started to look away from Teishi, though a warm smile slowly starts showing up on her expression

"<Yeah! It's pretty nice!>" Teishi then paused for a bit and tilted his head "<Is something wrong with you?>"

Valentine's eyes go wide as she realized just what she was doing "<Ah! Nothing!>" she said as she flailed her arms for a couple of seconds, before regaining her composure "<I, uh... I'm just flattered. Thanks.>"

Teishi chuckled at her reaction "<You're welcome!>" he cheerfully said

Valentine was growing increasinly nervous as she looked at Teishi "<So, um... There's really nothing else I can do; and you're bored already so I guess you probably should go look for something more fun to do?>"

Teishi then got rather pensive "<Hm... Well... I don't think I'm really going to find anything. But you're looking pretty nervous so I'm just gonna let you relax a bit.>" he stands up "<See ya, Valentine!>"

"<Bye...>"

Teishi then hops away, looking for something to do, leaving Valentine standing in place, confused.

"<... What just happened to me...?>" she said to herself, looking quite perplexed.

(Belinda is sitting on one of the pre-provided benches, looking out through a wall made entirely of glass at a view dominated by impressively large white clouds. She's not saying anything, but she does have an Espeon on her lap.)
