-The door opens, with a vaguely Staraptor-y girl grinning in the entrance-

Diane: Hello, and welcome to the Iri Estate~ I'm Diane, and while I am not your host, I'm sure you'll get away with the visit anyway because people end up getting stuck with us like duct tape anyway! Who might be our visitors~?

Iri Manor

-Super nerd and Queenie both jump back a bit at the vaugely starraptor-y girl-

Queenie: Oh! Uh, well we're trying to look for our friends you see? Me and this guy here had to go off on our own but we're here to reconnect with the J-Team!

-She offers a slight smile.-

Queenie: My name's Sasa, but you can call me Queenie...and this is Super Nerd.

-SN blushes ten shades of red, instinctively going to grab at his hood to tug down, though there wouldn't be one to grab. Super Nerd had actually long since lost his hoodie, and with the help of Queenie, designed a new purple vest that worked in a similar manor. He also now had gloves that worked as controllers for the system.-

S.N: N-N-N-Nice to meet you.....!

-Bow.-

Roxanne: Why, thank you! It's not often my challengers compliment me.

(Aerodactyl is smashed hard by the raging strike.)

Aerodactyl: <Hmph! A weak move, but at least it is not a Ground-type attack!>

(The ancient flyer is apparently aware of what Outrage does next, as, after lunging at Haxorus for a rather nasty-looking Crunch, she tenses up, ready to try for the dodge.)

(Correction, Magma were here the whole time.)

-Diane beams-

Diane: Always glad to see J-Teamers rejoin! Nice to meet you two.

-She opens the door the rest of the way-

Diane: Just so you know, Jake laid down a few ground rules, although at least one of them is ignored anyway. No breaking anything, no funny business specifically in the master bedroom, and the oft-ignored mistletoe moratorium. Also, the furniture is mildly haunted.

Iri Manor

-Super Nerd tilts his head curiously-

SN: Mildly Haunted? I didn't know haunted was on a sc-scale.

-Blinking a bit, Queenie and him both walk in, Queenie happily skipping along a small bit. Her pink dress casually bouncing with her-

Queenie: So what counts as funny business? I could think of several things.

Iri Manor

Diane: You make your own judgments based on interpretation of the punishment "leaving sterile".

-She leads them through-

Diane: As for the hauntings, there are ghosts, but they're just a minor nuisance. More pranksters and lunatics than malicious spirits.

Iri Manor

-Queenie blinked once more.-

Queenie: Huh. Kay.

-Super Nerd was also in thought, stepping as he pushed his glasses up.-

SN: Pranksters and Lunatics? Oh, so you mean pretty much every trainer that seems to pop out of nowhere to battle you. I th-th-think I can handle that.

Petalburg

-Tori happens be at a location in town to see the Magma members moving about. And, possibly out of boredom, she decides to see where the oddly dressed bunch are heading-

Diane: Battle you, hang forbidden mistletoe over you, scream incomprehensibly at you, steal articles of clothing while you're in the shower, all of that sort of stuff.

(One particular Magma grunt, a female, turns to stare coldly at Tori.)

Grunt: Oh, great. He really is attracting an audience.

Iri Manor

-Queenie tilts his head.-

Queen: What's the difference between forbidden mistletoe and regular mistletoe?

-Super Nerd gasps a bit.-

SN: Take my clothing? But I need my clothing! I don't need people seeing my Super Rod!

Iri Manor

-Diane shrugs, wisely not making any comment in response to SN-

Diane: All mistletoe is forbidden mistletoe in this place. Still gets hanged everywhere, to Jake's dismay.

Iri Manor

-Super Nerd was having his weird freakout while Queenie slipped her hands in her pockets, looking up at the ceiling.-

Queen: But why? Mistletoe is romantic. It brings people together, and makes my fanfiction all the more canonical.

Petalburg

-The biond girl hastily pulls a book out of her bag and pretends she's been reading it all along-

Tori: ~Ah, I think she saw me!~

-Notably, it's upside down-

Petalburg

Grunt: ...one, my boss would actually appreciate viewers. Two, you are the worst sneak I have ever laid eyes on, and I work with a pretty damn terrible one.

Iri Manor

-Diane shrugs-

Diane: Jake's weird. Maybe he had a traumatic mistletoe-related accident at some point.

Rustboro Gym, TS

Haxorus fell back, landing with a crack. Her wounds were beginning to show more visibly in the way she stood, but she was by no means ready to drop. <GROOOOO!> she cried with no distinct meaning to it. Who needed words when you had rage?

Valorie observed the situation but made no comment. She knew Haxorus was too tunnel visioned in on Aerodactyl to hear her. Instead she turns her attention back on Roxanne after observing Haxorus' condition. It seemed to her that Haxorus could probably take another hit like that—But what if Roxanne surprised her with something a bit stronger?

"I like the way you approach battling. I feel like taking a break to study really helped me get back on my game!" Valorie replied when she had a moment. Apparently Roxanne had inspired her a bit!

Haxorus charged forward again, only to notice what Aerodactyl was doing and juke the launch. She stopped very briefly to try and catch the other pre-emptively dodging before once again lunging into the air after the ancient pokemon, neck pulled back to cleave. <I'll clip your wings, you old coot!>

-Queenie Shrugs in return-

Queenie: Yeah, I guess so. Still, this is a pretty sweet place....so...um...has a boy named Jason come here by any chance?

Iri Manor

Diane: Oh, I know him, even though we haven't talked much recently. I think he's probably around, though.

Petalburg

Tori: "Your boss?"

-She lowers the book-

"That would explain the fashion statement"

Iri Manor

-Queenie nods excitedly suddenly, smiling ear to ear.-

Queen: Oh good! Great! I can't wait to see him!

-Super Nerd has calmed down by now, and caught up on the conversation.-

SN: You know he's around Queenie, I told you before, remember?

-Suddenly, SN puts his hands up, sliding his gloves to project...a holographic screen? Using his fingers to manuever through the menus, he nodded.-

SN: See? Right on the map?

Courtyard

"<Moves such as...?>"

Petalburg

Grunt: Hey, I hate the uniform as much as you do. Sadly, the boss man isn't really a believer in plainclothes operations.

(More Magma grunts are showing up now, creating a small but noticeable crowd.)

Rustboro Gym

Roxanne: Oh, so you've been studying! No wonder your style is resplendent with the power of freshly honed talent!

(Aerodactyl attempts to dodge the first phase of the attack, but is caught off-guard by the lunge and starts to look rather unhealthy.)

Aerodactyl: <I'd like to see you try, you ground-hugging abomination!>

(She flaps her wings gracefully, and a hail of glittering stones rains down in the general direction of Haxorus's face.)

Iri Manor

-Diane looks at the projection curiously-

Diane: Ooooooo~

Iri Courtyard

Sarashi: <From what I can tell, it's all sorta basic stuff... well, except for one. Astonish, Poison Jab, Fake Out... and, er... Drain Punch.>

-He seemed a fair bit uncomfortable remembering the last one.-
