"Ooof!" Idra was knocked back and she fell on the ground, while Ray scrambled away, gasping."Well that's not how it usually goes with a woman..and I don't particularly wanna do that way again.". She smiles up to Maria and pulls herself up."Thanks for that," but then promptly slips and falls back on the ground, still numb.

Idra smiles at both of them."Well, you did it." She gestures to herself, who was currently flat on her back on the ground, and she immediately pops herself back up, and offers her hand to both the girls."You passed the first step." Ray weakly shakes her hand, and Idra says "Of course, you could either stop now..or you could go into a free-for-all against the other students." She gestured around them to all of the training weapons, as well as the muscled men and women dressed in martial arts gi standing around them.

Ray looked at Maria, and back at Idra, and said "I dunno about her, but I wanna keep going. I want to..no..no I need to get stronger, and I think..I think this'd be a good step forward." She grabbed a pair of Eskrima sticks, and took a deep breath. Idra chuckled."Lady, I've had people go through this dojo and end up squished on the other side. Have ye what it takes to end up stronger for your pains?"

Ray chuckled."We'll see, won't we?" She hefted her sticks, and Idra smiled before stepped back."Good answer."

Cafe

Locke smiled at Lane."Hey, man, how are you?" He turned his laptop away from Lane's vision, who might a glimpse of the image of a bloody arm."Just looking at some case files."

John C grumbled."Yeah, yeah...but he still seems off to me. That guy over there is more so." He gestures to Barrigan, who was calmly sipping tea in the corner of the room, and muttering to himself "money, girls, that one's all about food, that other one's about finding true love...through money...the other ones seem a bit too focused on that guy's pecs and that girl's eyes to be healthy..."

-Takes a look at his hand.-

-After a moment of hesitation, the hero launches himself from the roof toward the crime.-

-Morgi nods.- It is chocolate, and it is hot.

-He sets a tray with a sandwich and some juice on a table near the slumped Deziree-

"Rough day?"

Morgi: Yeah. I think it's pretty good.

Idra chuckled."Oh don't worry, we're not that cruel. It'll be a gauntlet, with time to rest in between, and if you feel like you can't go on, you can always come back next time. And young miss, you must train the body for you can be capable of training your Pokemon."

Ray noddes slowly, and gave Maria a confident smile."Don't worry, I can handle this." She gets into position, and beckons Maria to move off the mat if she isn't joining in.

Locke sighed."Well..not really. If you've been keeping up with recent events...but I'm trying. Scone?"

-Maria frowns.-

-She shuffles off the mat.-

-Deziree reaches over and takes the juice.-

Deziree: Dune has me joining him for his drills with Champloo.

-She takes a long, deep drink.-

Deziree: Oh my god I didn't even know the names of most of the muscles he had me working today. >_<;

-Blitz looks at his tray for a second-

I was gonna drink that...

"I didn't know Dune did drills, first time? Sounds painful"

-He makes a point of cutting the sandwich in half-

"Who's Champloo?"

-Blitz may feel breathing down the back of his neck. The breathing is coming from a Lucario hanging upside-down from the lighting fixtures.-

Deziree: That one.

-The hair on the back of Blitz's starts to stand on end before he looks up into the Lucario's face-

Ray closed her eyes for a bit.''Just you wait, Marie, I'll show you how strong I can be.."she then opened them and rushed forward, while on the other end she was opposed by a black haired man with a bo staff.

The man grinned at her as he swung his staff in the direction of Rays head, with Ray just barely being able to deflect it with the Eskrima sticks, before hitting him on the head with the sticks, and then using one of them to twist a point on the guy's shoulder, causing him to bend on the ground in pain.

"Round to Palmer." Ray grinned, and helped the guy up. within couple of minutes, she was on the ground, groaning, while a petite twelve year old blonde giggled, moving her foot off Rays stomach, giving her a kiss on the cheek before skipping away, twirling her nunchaka. hin a minute,

Locke smiled at Lane, a bit sad."Yeah, work can often help solve problems like that, can't it?" he leans in closer and whispers in Land's ear."So how're you and Tori doing?"

About a half hour later, Ray comes lumbering outside, moaning and groaning, draped in a cloak."..I think its time to go home now..and come back...later....."she stumbles, her head falling on to Mario's lap while the rest of her got draped across the bench,some of the skin that was exposed when the cloak was askew being rather bruised.

Cafe

-Lane tints slightly, but maintains composure.-

Lane:We've been fine, I suppose...

-A Lampent peeks over the edge-

Candlewax:<He still can't spit it ou-wah!>

-And is pushed back down by his trainer.-

-Maria frowns and runs a gentle hand through the bruised girl's hair.-

Ray's tired, possibly asleep face made a smile, as she sleepily kissed the hand brushing her hair."G'night, Mar honey.."The Mar she's referring to may not be the Mar that's with her at the moment, though it might be the red headed Mar smiling at her from the other side of the bed in her dream..

Locke raised an eyebrow at the pushing."Hmm..are you sure?'" He has a bit of a grin."I think your mons disagree, as does your face."

John C got off the phone, and whispered to John 3"Hey listen, I just got off the phone with B and 2. They told me they've seen a bunch of guys like these roamin' around, and they always hung out at their cafe. Bro, weird things might happen, man! They always do around these guys!"

Main Hall – 1:44 to Cannon Fire

Ding!

The elevator doors slid open, Izzy emerging first as she gasped for breath loudly, followed by Lake and an embarrassed looking Stratus.

Stratus: <Izzy, I'm sorry!>

Izzy: <Why couldn't ya' hold it in?>

Stratus: <It was one of those ones that just slips out!>

Lake frowned, slightly disgusted.

Lake: <I can't believe we're having a conversation like this.>

He shook his head, then looked around to see where they had ended up. The three were now in a rather large hall that seemed to serve as the airship's central hub. The walls to either side of them were home to doors every few meters that lead to different rooms, all labelled helpfully.

Problem was, there was an awful lot of them. Which meant a lot of places for this Torque Pokémon to be hiding.

<Jeez, we've got an awful lot of ground to cover!>

Placing her hands on her hips, Izzy nodded in agreement.

Izzy: <This Torque creep could be hiding anywhere. I bet if we're to find this guy in any short length of time, we're gonna' have to start thinking like a villain.>

Lake: <Oh, I can have a go at that. Give me a moment...>

Izzy glanced up at the crocodile as he shut his eyes, placing his hands to his head and rubbing it to help him think.

<I'm a big bad reptile, and I wanna' take over the world, blow up a city, and maybe eat some babies... AHAH! I've got it!>

He raised a pointed finger, smirking triumphantly.

<If some fools were brave enough to come on board my airship looking to defeat me, I'd wait for them...>

He then pointed up a staircase leading upwards to a large door marked “Throne room.”

<Atop my magnificent throne!>

Izzy: <Bingo! Now why didn't I think of that?>

Lake: <Come, my minions! Let us go vanquish this fool of a Tyrantrum so we can rule in his place!>

Blinking in surprise at Lake's sudden shift in tone, Izzy and Stratus gave him a worried look.

Stratus: <Son? Are you okay?>

Izzy: <You're doing this “fake villain” thingy a little too well if ya' ask me. Maybe you sho->

Lake: <SILENCE, LIZARD! Now get up there befo->

Izzy quickly gave the Feraligatr a small electrical shock. Not strong enough to do any damage, but enough to hurt.

<OW!>

Lake recoiled, wincing in pain before blinking a few times as he came to his senses.

<Whoa...I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me just there! I even frightened myself!>

The Heliolisk patted her friend gently.

Izzy: <Relax, partner. You're a good guy, through and through. Y'know how we can cement that even further?>

Lake: <How?>

Izzy opened one of her hands and punched the other with it.

<By going up there and kicking some scaly behind!>
