He looked back at Tori, a bit awkwardly," She doesn't actually have..it was a joke, sorry, a bad joke..."

Marie leaned against the side of a wall, panting for breath, as Ray seemed to have vanished."She'll be at the Inn, I'm sure of it..at least, I hope..."

As she kept running, Ray thought to herself"....Wait, why was Jason with her?"

Marie and Ray's room, past

"Ray? Ray, are you in here?" Marie stumbles into the bedroom, calling out, panting. She heard the sound of running water coming from inside the bathroom, and rushed to the door. After jiggling it a bit and finding it locked, she knocked on it. Inside, Ray stood in the shower, eyes closed and head tilted up, letting the water wash over and clean her.

"Ray, please listen to me, I'm sorry, I didn't want to blow you off like that, I..I just had some really important stuff that I needed to go and do, people that I needed to talk to, and once that was done I decided to tail Locke, Lane and Tori. I wanted to make sure that everything was gonna go well, I was trying to be a good sister..please, believe me.."

She slumped against the door, which was then opened by Ray, clad in a purple bathrobe. Ray sighed, and crouched down next to Marie, giving her a tight hug and a smile. Her hair was still wet and smelled like strawberries, and Marie breathed in the sent, hugging Ra tightly."It's okay, Marie, I was just a bit upset, it's fine..everything's fine..."

Marie and Ray's room, last night

Ray sat on the bed, hugging the fuzz pink sweater, clad in a bathrobe, her expression a bit far away. Marie walks into the room, drying her hair. She frowns at Ray."Something wrong?"

Ray shook her head, and smiled at her."Nah, just soaking in how good it feels to be clean right now. I kinda lost my swimwear at the beach, so I had to change while being buried to the neck in sand."

Marie winced, and Ray nodded."Yeah..it feels good to be clean. Thankfully, Jason got me some clothes, " she waved the sweater, and Marie gave a tiny frown at that, but Ray continued, a bit of a thoughtful frown of her own, "Hey, wait, wasn't Jason with you at the Cinema? What was he doing there?"

Marie coughed a bit."Oh, yeah, I had to talk to him about some things, mainly some advice for..friends, and then he was with me when we saw the group, and followed them together." Ray nodded, "Did you get any good advice?" Marie shrugged."We'll see."

Ray smiled, and got under the covers of the bed, while Marie laid down beside her. As she turned her body to the side, Ray thought, before dozing off, "...Why don't I believe them..?"

Inn

Ray, clad in the fuzzy pink sweater over a snug pair of black tights and Meowstic slippers, is also clad in a Kalosian maid's dress over it, holding a silver tray in her hands. She sharply raps on Jason's door, and brightly calls out "Room service!"

Waterfront Cinemas, past

"Hehehehe, well, listen to your new friend here, Tori! Would you guys wanna hang out again soon?" Locke looked at Lane and Tori, his eyes a bit hopeful.

Ray waves brightly, and then curtsies."How do you do, sir?" She giggled, blushing a bit."Marie made breakfast and I asked if we could bring you any, and she and I did a coin flip. Whoever loses had to wear a Kalosian maid's dress as they were delivering the breakfast to you...so here I am!"

She walked inside and put the tray on his table, taking it off with a flourish to reveal scrambled eggs stuffed in tomatoes, Waffles drenched in maple syrup, and a side of Spoink bacon, along with some chocolate muffins and baked beans."Ta-da!"

Waterfront Cinemas, past

Locke chuckled."Or I could set up something alone for the two of you, if you wanted." He patted the bucket Cyndaquil on her head.

-Bucket Quil is still doubtful about the bath, but enjoys attention-

-He sets the tray down and starts eating.-

Ray had a cat smile on her face, as they swayed side to side a bit."Maaaaaaybe~" she twirled around a bit."I do love this thing, it's really pretty." The dress was primarily black, the kind of black in suits or evining gowns. It contrasted with the frills and the whites of the apron and the headress, which Ray messed around with as if it was a tiara.

She then stopped, and looked right at Jason."I don't think you were telling me the truth, yesterday, sorry." She sat down and put the tray cover over the breakfast, and said "Well, could you please tell me the truth, Jay?"

Waterfront Cinemas, past

Locke stroked his chin."Perhaps a boat ride around Sophian would suit you two? Or a day at the Resort, or possibly to a play? Your pick, really."

Jason's Room

Jason:Hah...fine. The reason Marie came to see me...

-Beat-

She was scared....of me and you spending so much time together. Like I would try and...iunno...make a...a move on ya...even when I'm in a happy relationship anyway...

-Lane turns a tad more red at the mention of those activities.-

The place is currently a little messy, but curtains are full in, so it's a little too dark to see. You may crash into something or trip on something, it's that dark.

Alrey is erratically moving around while asleep, throwing off the sheet of her. Bad idea, it was warm with it. Now she's shivering a little. But there be no worry, because nearby there is a cute electric mouse, whose fur is just good enough to serve as a provisory blanket!
