Dune: Because you're using part of an old two-seater, a command console to a Robo Groudon, two La-Z-Boy chairs, and a PC flight simulator stick for a cockpit, an old helicopter pod for a windshield, and some old ship propellers, a bunch of sheet metal, a jury-rigged jet engine, and five gallons of moonshine jet fuel for propulsion!

Deziree: Don't forget the Hula girl doll. She's important!

Dune: But-

Deziree: Plus, we got that fuel for twenty bucks. That is a steal.

-He looks around from his spot by the pool.-

-Crash is woken up by the noise.-

<The hell?!>

Maria:<...OK...still very creepy.>

-Beat-

<Isn't it glare daggers?>

Aqua Resort

-A stream of steamy smoke trails behind what appears to be a truly butchered and jury-rigged helicopter with an engine strapped to the bottom. It begins slowing down until it finally reaches the beach, where the engine putters out and the ship propellers on the top of it ease it down to the beach sands. Two figures come out, one standing tall and proud, and the other looking like he's going to lose his lunch.-

Deziree: I told you we'd make it!

Dune: OH GOD, SWEET, SWEET EARTH!

-Dune flops onto the ground and hugs it.-

???

(A red-headed teenage girl skips through the halls of a rather small, slightly decrepit-looking house. Every step she takes is punctuated by an unnaturally large cloud of purple-tinged dust.)

Girl:

(Eventually, her skipping carries her into a smallish kitchen. It's not a particularly homely place - the floor is musty linoleum, and the work surfaces are all a sterile plasticky substance that tries far too hard to look sleek and modern - but to her, it is the most comforting sight in the world.)

Girl: Ah, dumb ol' kitchen. I never thought I'd be so happy to see you~

(Examining the tap, she finds it bunged up with a wad of old chewing gum that has to be dislodged with the tail end of a teaspoon. This task, which by all rights should make anyone's face crinkle in disgust, seems to send her into a state of giggling euphoria.)

Girl: Sweet Arceus, they've even put Franz's gum in sufficiently stupid places! This is frigging wonderful~

(Her smile flips upside down as she directs her gaze out of the window. There is literally no view to comment on, just a wall of grey fog so thick it almost resembles a liquid.)

Girl: Shame about the view, though. Ah well, I'll fix that when the time comes.

(She's about to turn around when a psychic voice suddenly sounds in her head.)

???: ~Hai, Miss Clarice! :3~

(What follows is the girl leaping in the direction of a shiny female Meowstic who's just stepped into the doorframe, followed by a good few minutes of hugging and cooing.)

Girl16!Clarice Voynich: I knew I'd find you here... I just knew it...

Flood: ~Silly Miss Clarice, this is our house! Of course I would be here~~

(Cue the girl looking a good deal more distant.)

Clarice: ...yeah. Right. Our house. Definitely. Not... something entirely different that happens to be an exact duplicate of our house.

Flood: ~See?~ :3

(Clarice, now at a loss for words, stares intently at the cloying greyness outside. Finally, after several minutes, she speaks again.)

Clarice: ...I feel like going outside today, Flood.

Flood: ~Me too! This house is getting boring.~

(Having come to an agreement for very different reasons, the spirit of a girl and the spirit of her Meowstic head off to change into winter walking gear. When the front door is opened, the fog outside presses up against the opening to form a perfectly rectangular surface, as though the weather is bound by a vampiric agreement not to enter human residences without asking permission.)

Flood: ~Wow. I didn't think it was groundy cloud season yet.~

Clarice: (with mixed emotions) ...it's not. This is just an... isolated incident.

(A small smile makes its way back onto her face, and the two step out of their doorway and through the glassy wall of cloud. Within seconds, the great unknown has hidden the two figures from view completely.)
