-He turns and, presumably after getting his construct Rod back from Pent, leaves the room...he looks about to cry.-

I promise...Illusion will PAY for what they have wrought!

-And he walks back to the town...Ray might find him looking quite sad and angry.-

Girl's Room

-Maria nods and soon after falls asleep.-

Ray stops skipping as she notices Jason, and frowns. She raises a finger to her lip to Picasso, sneaks up behind Jason, and glomps him, which must feel wierd as Ray is soft like a teddy bear.

"What's got ya down, Maxwell?!" She says in a high pitched voice, kind of like a mouse.

-Jason, surprisingly, doesn't react too bad to the sudden glomp, as though she glompled a brick wall.-

Jason:Hey Ray...just a little...depressed right now...

Ray frowns a bit, and digs into her satchel. A second or two later, she's pushing a fluffy cat plushie into Jason's arms.

"Hug it" she urged."Hugging fluffy cats usually helps to decrease depression, I speak from experience. Ice-cream'll just give you frostbite."

-Jason looks at the plushie...back to Ray...then hugs both of them tightly.-

Jason:T-Thanks, Ray...y'know...people help too.

-The hug with a plushie turns into a Ray centered huggle.-

Ray beamed and wrapped herself around Jason."I know, and I'm always here for you, buddy, remember that." She gives him a light peck on the cheek.

-Jason sniffles, he was crying. He squeezes Ray slightly.-

Jason:Heh...I think I'm starting to know how that cuddle week felt.

-He looks Ray in her eyes.-

Hey Ray?...Can you...stay with me tonight? I think I just need someone to cuddle tonight...

Ray wipes away Jason's tears gently with her hand, and then smiles."Sure, just let me text Marie."

Within a couple of seconds her phone was out, and she typed to Marie:"Gonna be with Jason tonight, he's got some emotional problems going on, is that fine?" In a couple more the reply came:"Sure, just don't do anything you wouldn't wanna tell me, naughty cat. :P"

Ray blushes slightly, and looks back up at Jason."I'm all yours, buddy." She patted her satchel."I've got some sleeping clothes on me."

A bit away, Carl the Taxi Driver is goggling at the sight."...Well, there's something you don't see everyday."

Secluded Area in Vien Forest

Salvador is once again in a distant area in the Vien Forest, down on his knees in prayer. However this time, it appears he is not alone as a figure cloaked by the shadowsof the trees is by his side. After a minute of silent prayer, Salvador looks up at the opening in the canopy at the moon and the stars filtering their light in the forest night.

Salvador: Yveltal give me strength, what am I to do? I am torn between what I have percieved and what I wish to do, is it really a futile task considering the past and future have been revealed to me since I was young?

At the moment, what looks like a Clock Punk prosthetic arm and gently rubs Salvador.

???: You are torn between fate and will, my child. An issue that plagued your father for many a moon all those years ago.

Salvador: Oh what do I do? I wish to save him from despair, but fate does not deceive when revealed...

???: What if it's possible that your thoughts and visions are being influenced by... something else? As if a demon is influencing your mind to deceive you...

Salvador makes a noticeable sound of distress as he clutches his head.

Salvador: I want nothing to do with demons, I've had enough of them! I know how they ate away my father 'till he was nothing more that a breathing corpse and I wish not to repeat those same mistakes, but are we cursed to forever be consumed by sin?

???: ...

The figure turns Salvador's head towards their own, removing the hat and the mask that adorn his face.

???: Salvador, I believe you can rise and ascend from the faults of the past generations. Your father taught you well. After all, he wanted you to go farther than he ever could. If anyone can change things, it's you my child.

Salvador: Thank you, I would be lost without your wisdom [REDACTED].

???: (Chuckling) That is what I am here for. To guide you in your father's place.

The figure looks up at the sky. Salvador joins him.

???: I see a lot of similarities with between you and him. But yet, lots of differences too. Love is one of the most powerful forces we know of, and it transcends even life and death.

The figure looks back at Salvador

???: As you know too well, my child.

Salvador looks back to the figure, smiles, and resumes stargazing.

Salvador: ...Tell me about the stars again...

The figure nods knowingly, and starts going over the stars and constellations in the sky. Salvador in retaliation, lies back and listens to his partner go on about the celestial skies. A nostalgic yet solemn smile marking his face illuminated by the moon's faint light.

-The two are here.-

Jason:...gonna go get changed...

-He lugs off the reenforced longcoat with a decent thud, then retreats to the bathroom to change.-

The taxi driver blinks, and then blinks again."...Did I catch something from a client?"

Jason's Room

Ray is on her knees for a bit, before she straightens up again."Man..that was cool!But also a bit queasy..."

Her eyes widen upon the thud, and she remarks:"Dude must be seriously buff if he can move around so easily in that." She then starts rummaging in her satchel, smiles as she puts Picasso and his Pokeball on the nighstand, but then groans upon pulling out, instead of footy pyjamas, a singlet and short pyjama bottoms."Awww, I accidentally got Marie's clothes! Ugh, these are so thin.."

After putting them on, Ray is shivering."Cold, sooo cold, how does Marie deal with this?!"

Jason's Room

-Jason returns wearing a short sleeved shirt, revealing that while he isn't buff he is slightly toned from training, and sleeping shorts. He blinks at the shivering girl, blushing slightly.-

Jason:Huh...this is different. Ya look...kinda cold. Um...nice figure, though I suppose...never realized it I suppose...

-He crawls underneath the sheets.-

Ray blushes further, contrasting with the paleness of the rest of her body."You're not half bad yourself, Jay."

She bounces into the bed and under the covers, and holds on to Jason tightly, eager for the body heat.

Jason's Room

-Jason is clung to and cuddles back, his smile returning somewhat.-

Jason:Ya don't say...maybe Bel is right then...

-He lightly nuzzles Ray.-

Thanks for this...I'm starting to feel better already.

-He makes a point to hold Ray as close as he can to keep her warm.-

Ray laughs in glee."There it is! That glowing smile's back!' She returns the nuzzle, and wraps herself almost completely around Jason for maximum cuddles. She kisses his cheek again."Always keep that smile around, m'kay?"

???:She's a sweet girl.

Y'know...I can agree with ya there.

-Jason's small smile grows slightly. He hugs himself to Ray, giving her a peck on the cheek of his own.-

Jason:I will...or at least I can try...thanks Ray.

"Anytime, buddy, I'll always be here for ya..." Ray is just about to fall asleep but moves a bit to give Jason a kiss on the nose, and then a sigh as she rests her head against Jason's neck and drifts off.

Jason's Room

-Jason tints slightly.-

Jason:Heh...

I should get some rest too...

Night Ray...

-He moves to allow himself to be comfortable with the girl sleeping on his neck and begins to drift himself.-

Because tomorrow...I'm going to war.

-And he closes his eyes.-

Airship, late at night

-Pent is sitting out on the main deck of the ship, silently passing an object between his hands-

Well then, looks like we've found a cause again, even if it is for just a day or two...

-He smirks and stands the object on end, slowly turning it around-

I'm getting cocky aren't I? One success in interpersonal interactions and suddenly I'm far too confident...

-He leans back and shrugs-

Of course, doesn't mean I can't afford to be a little confident. I've spent long enough being withdrawn and cautious.

-The silence is broken by a slight chuckle-
