"Alright. I accept. As the challenger you may dictate how many Champions each side shall produce and whether or not we will stick to the ceremonial usage of the Warrior and Pokémon's single best move."

Jacob: "Wait some battles in Ransei only used one move per mon? Can you get any more inefficient?"

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

-Ren's mon have been silent throughout Ren's monologue, and while Kitsune and Rio already know this, Bahamut and Hecate are looking at Sho with eyes filled with condemning disappointment.-

Ren: -still to Sheila, while glaring at Sho- And did you know that because of that account coming to light, a good friend of mine had to deal with the fallout?

-in a nasty tone, to Sho- Do you want to finish this story Shokaki?

-Sho is looking rather distraught and scared from all the looks he's getting, but remains silent.-

Ren: No? Then allow me. As it so happens, both the account of Warlord Lucanus Cain of Pugilis and the account of the Downfall of the Ghost Lord were recorded and narrated by the same person.

-Ren points his cane at Sho.-

-coldly- That man there. Our ancestor. Shokaki, Guildmaster of Terrera's Merchant Guild and one of the heroes who fought alongside the Sun Goddess.

-As Ren finishes, Sho goes pale.-

-Quares takes a moment to think.-

Quares: Hm... Four warriors should do nicely. And yes, I believe keeping to the move limitation would keep things interesting.

-The tallest of the Dustrunners ponders for a moment.-

Kioji: "Four"...? But there are five Dustrunners, including Sabaku...

Quares: You will not be joining them, Kioji.

-Kioji blinks.-

-Quares holds a hand.-

Quares: Trust me.

Snips: I'm confused.

Hia Valley

Sheila: But- wait- wah?!

-One could almost hear stone grinding as Shiko turned to face Sho. She doesn't say anything.-

Jacob: "...."

"I..."

"Did I just get spoken to by an ancient Warlord in a flashback?"

"..."

"What."

-Blinks "Wait... I think I've actually heard something like this stor-"

Edge: <ANYWAYS! BACK TO ADVENTURE!>

Iranidius: -Nods- "Yes.... yes... okay. And I have but one Champion, so he will serve us. My son, Celzvet, stand forward!"

And so I did. My dad had passed on his old warmonger Aggron to me, and had raised himself a new Tyranitar.

The people who would later know me would not recognize me at all. For I had not yet become the Clown King of Cragspur. All my steps looked mechanical. My very countenance radiated hatred. I was a weapon.

"Will you stand for Cragspur against these Warriors?"

Celzvet: "....." -Nods-

Sylva: <You fought four Warriors by yourself?!>

Edge: <More like eight. Have to count their partners.>

Jacob: "I'm just waiting for Sabaku to chime in and tell me he's BS-ing this part."

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

Ren: -to Sheila, while walking slowly towards Sho- Yes, Sheila you heard correctly. The man in front of us, out of petty spite, wanted to ruin the name of the family of a man who wanted nothing more than to repent and make amends for the sins he committed. This man with whom I share more than a passing resemblance to.

-Ren stops in front of Sho-

-to Sho- I am very happy I've gotten the chance to say this to you face to face.

-Sho quails in Ren's gaze.-

Ren: Shokaki, you disgust me. And Lucanus Cain was a better man than you'll ever be.

-Ren punches Sho across the face. Sho lands on his side near Shiko with the left side of his face starting to swell and his lip bleeding.-

Ren: -turning to Shiko- Lady Shiko, I'm so happy that our family took after you and not this man here.

-Ren turns and walks away, wanting to distance himself from Sho before he throttled his ancestor, stopping to lean on a rock a good distance away.-

-Sho lays on the ground hoping that someone in the group would offer some words of understanding to him.-

-The Boulder pales as he looks over the Aggron, his Golem trying to back up as much as he can.-

-Sho might not have quite expected who walked up to him.-

Holiday: <Son, lemme tell you somethin'. If next time you do somethin' like this, make sure you ain't diggin' yerself a grave yer kids won't be willin' to put flowers on.>

-He goes off, leading a flabbergasted Sheila somewhere warm.-

Shiko: ...

-Shiko stares down at Sho, passively. The lighting and positioning make her seem more like a scorned titan than a woman.-

-Straw is moved on top of Crewe-

-Lane is asleep here...though at some point last night he lost his shirt.-

-She's not, she has been blipped away long ago. What do you think, that she has been imprisoned there?-
